To say that Helena was confused was an understatement. She had never expected that she would be called to interview a Dark Lord and his Archdemon husband.
The two men looked kind enough. Had prepared tea and cookies for the little talk.
Helena thought that if she did not do the interview, the newspaper's chief editor was going to sacrifice her to the spirits above.
But that was not the only thing that was on her mind, no.
For she really wanted to know why someone who had been brought to be a hero had become an Archdemon.
"So, for how long have you known each other?" Helena asked. She wished she could be more professional, but the newspapers were mostly read by housewives… desperate ones.
"Oh, funny story, that," the Dark Lord said, as he took the hand of the Archdemon. "We were thrifting, and then I hired Peter."
"And he never paid me a copper," Peter said, as he chuckled. "But this is not why you are here, good lady."
