After helping Christopher lie down, Wellesley was on her way to call for some servants to assist his higness in changing his clothes and stay by his side in case he needed anything, but before she could even take a step. Christopher grabbed her hand from behind and said, "Accompany me"
Upon hearing this from Christopher, she felt as if the ground beneath her feet had been shaken. But before she could say anything. He continued his words,
"You don't need to think too much, nothing will happen between us. We will just sleep together, just sleep, nothing else".
If someone else had said this, Wellesley probably would not have believed him. But the person who said that was a prince of this Empire and she knew even if Christopher tried anything, there probably wouldn't be anyone in the Empire who could do anything him, not that she had a choice. So she decided to trust him and slept beside him.
She tried to maintain some gap but Christopher was having none of it and pulled her towards himself, Wellesley's breath got stuck for a moment, she could feel his hot breath on her earlobe and she was in no condition to move. It felt as if her body was paralyzed, all she could do was wait for his next move but it never happened

After some time, Wellesley's even breathing sound was heard throughout the room, only then Christopher open his eyes and took a look at the sleeping beauty and said to himself, "Did you see that, this is how you handle a girl"
Another voice sarcastically replied, "what did you even do, how can you even boost that ego of yours when all you was just sleeping beside her"
"Geez, can't I even talk to myself now why do you always have something to say" Chris replied unhappily,
the voice bluntly said, "Oh really. Then where do you think I come from and let me remind you I am inside this very body of ours and why are so being fired up, when all I did was just calling you out for boosting"
"Like seriously, you have to listen to experts when you don't know how things work"
"Expert, you....I would like to know which subject are you an expert in??" Voice asked still skeptical about Chris statement,
Chris replied as if stating a matter of fact,"Girls"
"Girls?" The voice repeated confused,
Chris understood it's dilemma and said,"Look, girls are a subject which all men claim hard to understand, but I am an expert in that subject"
"Hey idiot, Whatever you want to say, speak it straight, why do you have to beat around the bush? And you tell me one thing, what is the connection between this girl and our safety" Voice said, not even trying to hide his lack of interest
"They are connected, It is very important for both of us that this girl stays with us" Chris said making a serious expression, "you fool, you said the same thing earlier, While having dinner but you didn't say why?" The voice replied impatiently while trying to get more information,
Chris didn't mind, as they both were on the same boat and explained, "I am explaining, so listen, carefully this will be the first and last time I will be doing it. This girl is very important for us because she can do anything for us and our enemy will first try to keep this girl away from us so that he can play he can make his next move peacefully and when that happens, we will have no choice but to dance in his hands."
Voice immediately understood his intention but still asked another question, "But I don't understand why are we trying so hard, that too for this girl who already loves us."
This time it was Chris turn to get angry and he irritatingly said, "We are doing that because love sometimes has an expiry date, and that expiry date comes when the other person doesn't meet our expectations and you for how many years was this girl following you a total of 2 years, and you did not even look at her, you just used her and not even once did you care for her feelings, Now what can I even do except working hard?"

Chris didn't correct the misunderstanding this muscle head was having and said, "Wait, I will explain this in your language. Hypothetically, let's say you have an enemy and this enmity has continued for yours and then suddenly that enemy comes and starts talking to you all friendly as if the years of enmity was all a lie then how would you feel?"
