Chapter 1 - Prologue

Life ain't a fairy tale. Trust me, I know.

I'm not some princess waiting for a knight in shining armor to come save me. Nah, I'm the kind of girl who learned to throw punches before I could write my own name. Life hit me hard first, so I learned to hit back harder. You get what I'm saying?

My name was Eun-byun Lee, just another face on the streets of Seoul. I wasn't anyone special—scrappy, broke, and always hustling to get by. You fight, you survive, and you keep your head low. That was my motto.

In my line of work, trust is a liability. A street rat like me doesn't survive long by being soft-hearted. But even I wasn't quick enough to dodge betrayal—or the truck barreling toward me on that rainy night.

I thought that was the end.

And when I woke up? Bam. Some rich-ass mansion straight out of a historical drama, with people bowing and calling me "Lady Cecilia."

Lady Cecilia? Hell no.

I ain't no lady. I'm just a girl who's good at throwing punches and surviving in a world that doesn't give a damn.

But here I am, stuck in this fluffy, frilly world with no clue what the hell's going on. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a death flag hanging over my head. Yeah, that's right. I got isekai'd into some messed-up novel, and I'm not even the main character.

This girl, she's a side character from a novel I skimmed once. And not the good kind of side character. Nope, she's the idiot who gets herself killed halfway through the story.

Great, right?

Well, screw that.

If they think I'm gonna sit pretty and let fate run me over, they've got another thing coming. Cecilia might've been a pushover, but I'm not. I've survived the streets of Seoul—I can survive this. I don't care about tea parties, fancy dresses, or their stuck-up noble drama.

This time, I'm rewriting my story.
