Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Still the same person but with a softer perspective.

These past few days, every time Jina happened to see Jun Seo at school, she felt a slight change in the way he treated her. He was no longer as cold as before, but he was not too open either. Jun Seo still kept a calm expression, rarely taking the initiative to talk, but perhaps Jina's presence did not make him as uncomfortable as before. p/s: that was actually just what she thought, Jun Seo was not uncomfortable. His facial features were like that. =)

This morning, Jina saw Jun Seo walking alone on campus again, his expression was still the same, not in a hurry. She sighed, quietly watching him from afar for a while. Even though she had tried to approach him a few times before, she felt that Jun Seo was still somewhat hesitant whenever they were close to each other. But that did not discourage her. She knew that, for people like Jun Seo, everything needed time.

Suddenly, Jina felt an urge to talk to him. She walked closer, not too fast or slow, simply walking and speaking when she was a little bit away from him.

"Jun Seo," she called his name softly, her voice not too high, but just enough for him to hear.

Jun Seo turned around, his eyes no longer as cold as before, but not too bright either. He looked at her for a moment, silent. Perhaps he was used to her being around. "What is it?" He asked simply, his tone as if nothing special.

Jina smiled slightly, not answering right away, just looking around. "You look like you're thinking about something." She said, trying to make the conversation comfortable. "Is something sad?"

Jun Seo raised her eyebrows a little, not saying anything right away. After a while, he answered briefly, but something changed slightly in his voice. "Nothing sad. Just... thinking about random things."

Jina didn't say anything in a hurry, just smiled naturally. "That's good. Everyone has those moments." She stood still for a moment, then continued, "Sometimes I wonder why you're always so cold. Actually, I don't think you're the type to be quiet all the time."

Jun Seo paused, but only for a moment, then continued walking. "I'm not cold," he said, his voice sounding serious. "I just don't like to talk much."

Jina wasn't put off by that answer. "So what?" she said, softly but confidently. "We don't need to talk too much. I'm not the type to bother you either. It's just… sometimes I find you lonely." Jina said softly, "Maybe I do too."

Jun Seo turned to look at her, this time not with the cold gaze as before, but with something softer. "Do you find me lonely?" he asked, his voice strangely soft.

Jina nodded, but she didn't tease. "Yeah, I feel that way. You're always alone, I rarely see you talking to anyone." She shrugged as if it was no big deal. "It's okay, I just thought... everyone feels that way sometimes."

Jun Seo was silent for a moment, his eyes no longer distant, but not completely open either. "You're right," he said softly, but then it seemed like he wanted to hide his true feelings. "But I don't like to share too much."

Jina stood there, not showing any pressure. She knew that everyone had times when they didn't want to open up, and Jun Seo wasn't someone who was easy to understand. "Then, I won't ask any more questions," she said softly. "It's just... if you want to talk, I'll always be here."

Jun Seo looked up at her for a moment, something in his eyes made Jina feel like he wanted to say something more, but then he turned away, hiding his emotions. "Thank you," he said simply, but there was a slight change in his tone.

Jina sensed something in the air, a small change in the way Jun Seo viewed her. Even though he didn't say it, he was starting to open up a little. She didn't know how long it would take for him to truly open his heart, but at least she felt that they could talk more comfortably.

"You don't have to thank me," Jina smiled lightly. "We were just talking. It's no big deal."

Jun Seo nodded silently, not saying anything more, but perhaps he no longer felt uncomfortable standing near her like before.

As Jun Seo started walking away, Jina watched, feeling relieved. She didn't expect much, simply feeling happy to be able to talk to him. Each small step forward was enough for her to know that, one day, Jun Seo might open up more. There is no need to rush, everything will come naturally.
