Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: A small change will become a big change.

One weekend afternoon, Jina entered the library as usual. She didn't expect to see Jun Seo today, but when her eyes accidentally glanced at the familiar corner, she saw him sitting there, at the old wooden table, the book open but his eyes not paying attention to the page. He seemed to be lost in thought.

Jina paused for a moment, not daring to approach immediately. She wasn't the type to bother others easily, but there was something that urged her to come closer, as if just a little more, she would understand something that had always been hidden before.

After a while, she decided to walk over, but instead of sitting down right across from him, Jina chose the chair next to him. She didn't want to disrupt Jun Seo's space if he wasn't willing to talk.

"What... are you reading?" Jina's question sounded natural, not rushed, just like a greeting.

Jun Seo looked up, his eyes not showing much emotion, but she still noticed a hint of surprise in his gaze. "A science book." He answered briefly, then continued to look at the book.

Jina smiled slightly, not saying anything more. She was not the type to force anyone to talk if they didn't want to. Instead, she turned her head to look out the window, where sunlight was filtering through the trees, illuminating the ground. A moment of silence passed, no words were spoken, but the atmosphere between them was not awkward.

It was quiet like that for a while, then Jun Seo finally spoke. "You didn't read a book today?"

Jina was a little surprised. He took the initiative to talk to her? She looked back at him, smiling lightly: "Yes, but today I want to change the atmosphere a bit."

Jun Seo nodded slightly, then his eyes returned to the book. This time, Jina felt the atmosphere was lighter. She knew that Jun Seo wasn't ready to talk much, but that didn't make her feel uncomfortable or annoyed.

Day after day, the meetings continued like that. Not every conversation was long, but every time Jun Seo and Jina sat close to each other, there was a very special feeling. Even though it was quiet, Jina didn't feel bored. She began to realize that sometimes just sitting close to each other was enough.

One day, when Jina entered the library, she saw Jun Seo sitting in the same place again, but this time he wasn't alone. The man from the hospital was sitting across from Jun Seo. They were talking very softly, as if they didn't want anyone to hear. Jina didn't dare to come closer, just standing from afar watching.

Although she couldn't hear their conversation, Jina felt that something was wrong. That man wasn't someone she had seen here before, and Jun Seo's attitude also seemed strange, a bit tense. She stood still for a moment, then decided to leave, not wanting to bother her.

After the man left, Jun Seo stood up and packed his books. When he saw Jina standing near the library door, his eyes were slightly surprised.

"You're here?" Jun Seo's voice was a bit hoarse, it seemed like he had just had an unpleasant conversation.

Jina just smiled, not saying anything more. "Um, I just got here."

Jun Seo looked at her for a moment, then nodded slightly. He finished packing his things and stood up. "If you're not busy, would you like something to drink?"

Jina was surprised. He invited her out for a drink? She was a bit taken aback, but she felt a little warm inside. She gently replied: "Okay." p/s: Well, just be gentle on the outside, inside I'm in chaos, it's the first time someone invited me out for a drink. =)

They went out of the library, walked a short distance to a small coffee shop near the school. The atmosphere here was peaceful and gentle. Jun Seo didn't say much during the whole journey, but Jina felt a slight change in his attitude. Although he was still silent, he no longer kept his distance like before.

When they arrived at the coffee shop, they sat down in a secluded corner. Jun Seo ordered drinks for both of them, then sat still, his eyes looking out the window. Jina was in no hurry to bother him, just quietly enjoying her coffee. At this moment, there was no tension in the air. It seemed like everything between them was gentle and natural.

After a while, Jun Seo broke the silence. "Do you like it here?" His voice was gentle, but there was something like concern.

Jina looked up, smiling lightly. "Yeah, quite nice. The atmosphere here is pleasant, not as noisy as other places."

Jun Seo smirked. "That's good."

They chatted for a while about nothing special, but it seemed like there was some kind of connection between them that neither of them could express in words. Jina didn't rush to ask more about Jun Seo, just wanted to enjoy such moments. Gradually, she felt a small but obvious change in the way Jun Seo treated her.

As they were about to leave, Jun Seo suddenly said, "Thank you for coming with me."

Jina looked at him, smiling gently. "Hey, I'm the one who should be thanking you. I'm happy."

They walked out of the shop, but Jina couldn't help but feel something strange in Jun Seo's eyes. She didn't rush to ask more, just quietly walked beside him, feeling the gentle but obvious change in this relationship.
