The voice was a whisper at first, faint but persistent.
Luna.
It grew louder as I moved, tugging at me like an invisible thread pulling me through the pack grounds. The night was still, the air heavy with an ominous quiet that made my wolf restless. The closer I got, the more insistent the voice became, echoing in my mind with an almost hypnotic pull.
And then I saw it.
The creature from my dreams—the one that haunted me since the classroom. He was here. On pack grounds.
My breath caught in my throat as I froze, my body locking in place. It wasn't just the creature's presence that paralyzed me.
Kael.
Kael was fighting him.
