Chapter 9 - Orochi, Apologize to Ten-Sai!

During his time using the Anywhere Door, Kaido couldn't stop praising its design. The door, standing at a towering ten meters tall, was perfect for his massive frame.

And just like that, in front of everyone, Kaido disappeared through the door, vanishing from sight.

Watching this miraculous scene, Queen, who had been too stunned to speak earlier, suddenly found his voice.

"This invention... it's incredible!"

"Yoruha, can I try it too?"

"Surely, something this amazing must have limitations, right?"

Queen assumed that such a groundbreaking invention must come with strict usage limits. After all, even something as simple as artificial Devil Fruits carried the inherent risks of SMILE.

But to Queen's surprise, Yoruha waved dismissively.

"Don't worry. There are no usage limits. Anyone can go through the door, even alongside Kaido-sama!"

Queen's eyes widened in shock.

"No restrictions? And everyone can use it? That's... unbelievably overpowered!"

The next moment, the Three Disasters, the Six Flying Fighters, and several elite officers, driven by curiosity, began stepping into the Anywhere Door.

As Yoruha watched one person after another enter the door, his grin grew wider and wider.

These were the elites of the Beasts Pirates—they'd contribute a huge number of points to his system! If this kept up, he might accumulate enough points for his coveted golden ten-draw in no time.

The only downside was that everyone had to queue up to use the door, so it wasn't feasible to send the entire crew of thousands through at once.

But that wasn't a major problem.

"Maybe I'll talk to Kaido later about building more doors," Yoruha mused. "If we make enough, even the interns cleaning toilets can use them. That'll boost my points nicely!"

With that thought, Yoruha stepped into the Anywhere Door himself, and the door vanished from its original location.

The remaining lower-ranking crew members stared at the spot with envy.

"This thing is incredible! When will we get a chance to try it? It's as good as a spatial Devil Fruit!"

"Don't worry. Didn't Ten-Sai-sama say everyone can use it? Our turn will come eventually!"

In the Shogun's Mansion in Wano...

Inside his grand hall, Orochi was up to his usual antics.

"Harder! Swing those hips more! Guhuhuhu!"

The lecherous Orochi sipped sake as he reveled in the elegant dance of his performers.

Suddenly, a large pink door materialized in the middle of the hall.

The abrupt appearance froze the smirk on Orochi's face. His expression darkened as he tensed up.

"What is that thing? Are the Kozuki clan's remnants here to ambush me?!"

"Guards! Protect me!"

In an instant, dozens of samurai led by Kyoshiro surrounded the mysterious door, their eyes sharp and full of caution.

The door slowly opened, and a massive figure stepped out, leaving everyone dumbfounded.

"What... What's going on?"

"Isn't that Kaido?"

They couldn't believe their eyes.

Had Kaido's Azure Dragon form gained spatial abilities? Could Mythical Zoan Fruits be this powerful?

Jealousy bubbled in Orochi's heart.

"Damn it! I also have a Mythical Zoan Fruit—the Snake-Snake Fruit, Model: Yamata-no-Orochi. Why is my ability just being able to survive a few extra slashes?!"

"Ah-ro-ro-ro-ro! Orochi, you're as paranoid as ever!"

Kaido's laughter boomed as he stepped fully into the room, noticing Orochi's overly cautious reaction.

Kaido sneered internally. He had only partnered with Orochi to deal with Oden back then. Now that Oden was gone, Orochi was becoming more and more useless in Kaido's eyes.

Orochi, noticing Kaido's disdainful look, felt a surge of resentment. But he masked it with an ingratiating smile, knowing he couldn't afford to anger Kaido.

"Guhuhuhu! Better safe than sorry, Kaido!"

"But tell me, how did you suddenly appear here? Have you learned a new ability?"

Orochi asked cautiously. Kaido had managed to bypass observation and appear directly in his hall. Such a power seemed almost too overwhelming, and Orochi wanted to understand it better.

Before Kaido could answer, the door opened again. One by one, the Beasts Pirates' elites poured into the room—the Three Disasters, the Six Flying Fighters, and other top-ranking members.

The once-spacious banquet hall became cramped with people.

"They really came through! Hahaha!"

The joy was evident on the faces of every crew member as they marveled at the convenience of the Anywhere Door.

Kyoshiro narrowed his eyes.

"So many people came at once. This can't just be Kaido's ability. It's something else... something new."

Kaido smirked, cutting through the tension.

"You're wrong, Orochi. This isn't one of my abilities!"

"This is just a little invention from our Beasts Pirates—a small thing, really!"

Kaido proudly declared, almost showing off, "It's nothing more than a small invention."

Orochi's mouth twitched at Kaido's words.

A small invention?

This "small invention" had just summoned a crowd of people out of nowhere. If used for an assassination, it would be ridiculously effective.

The thought sent a chill down Orochi's spine. His face stiffened, and his heart skipped a beat.

From now on, Orochi decided, he would have to treat Kaido with much more respect. Otherwise, he might one day wake up to find himself dead in his own bed. With this door, no guards could protect him.

Around him, Orochi's guards were equally stunned as they stared at the pink Anywhere Door.

A technological invention?

How could something so extraordinary not be a Devil Fruit power but instead a product of technology?

Kyoshiro, in particular, felt waves of shock surging within him.

"If I could get my hands on this door," Kyoshiro thought, "I might be able to rescue Kawamatsu and the other Akazaya Nine. With it, we could launch a surprise attack on Kaido. Could we even defeat him?"

"Guhuhuhu! Congratulations, Kaido!" Orochi said, trying to keep his composure.

"I never imagined Queen could invent something so incredible!"

In his mind, Orochi was fixated on how terrifyingly strong Kaido's assassination capabilities had become. So, he lowered his stance even further and flattered Kaido as much as he could.

But to Orochi's surprise, Kaido wasn't pleased. Instead, a flicker of anger appeared in his eyes.

Before Kaido could speak, Queen quickly interjected.

"How could I have invented something this amazing? Orochi, don't spread nonsense!"

At that moment, Yoruha stepped out from the crowd as the last person to exit the Anywhere Door.

Kyoshiro noticed something curious. The elite members of the Beasts Pirates—true heavyweights like the Six Flying Fighters, the Three Disasters, and even Kaido himself—all made way for this young man. He walked straight up to stand behind Kaido.

"Who is this guy?" Kyoshiro wondered.

His strength didn't seem impressive, perhaps only on par with the Six Flying Fighters. So why was he treated with such respect?

Then it clicked.

"Could it be...?" Kyoshiro thought, recalling the celebration Kaido held three days ago to honor their new 'Ten-Sai.'

"This boy must be Ten-Sai—the one who invented that door! And he's so young!"

Kaido strode over to Orochi. Standing at over seven meters tall, Kaido loomed over the three-and-a-half-meter-tall Orochi like a giant looking down at a child. His overwhelming presence filled the room.

"Orochi," Kaido said, his voice cold and commanding, "remember this. This door is called the Anywhere Door. Its inventor is our crew's newest member, Ten-Sai Yoruha!"

"And yet, you mistook its creator!"

"Apologize!" Kaido's eyes burned with anger.

"Apologize to Yoruha!"

The intensity in Kaido's voice made it clear that if Orochi refused, Kaido wouldn't hesitate to deal with him then and there.

Although killing Orochi now might disrupt Kaido's plans for ruling Wano, with Yoruha's inventions, such issues were no longer major obstacles for Kaido.
