Three days later, inside the Beasts Pirates' laboratory, Yoruha stood before a massive pink door—the Anywhere Door—and laughed out loud.
"It's finally done!"
Considering Kaido's towering height of over seven meters, Yoruha had made the door a full ten meters tall. Looking at the masterpiece, Yoruha felt a strong sense of accomplishment.
He decided to test it himself first.
"I wonder how many points I'll get using this door with my current strength?"
With a mix of curiosity and anticipation, Yoruha swung open the Anywhere Door.
As the giant door opened, it emitted swirling smoke. Yoruha thought about the stall he had previously set up on a small island. A moment later, he stepped through the door.
On the bustling streets of Wano's Taikyu Island, a sudden door appeared out of nowhere, and Yoruha walked out.
The people nearby jumped in shock.
"What?! A door just appeared out of nowhere... and someone came out of it!"
"What kind of sorcery is this? Is he a Devil Fruit user?"
The entire street buzzed with confusion. Yoruha scratched his head awkwardly. He hadn't expected his quick test to cause such a commotion.
Hurriedly, he stepped back into the door and returned to his lab.
To put things in perspective, Onigashima and his previous stall were separated by over a thousand kilometers. Now, with just one door, that immense distance was crossed instantly—it was akin to space-time ninjutsu!
"As expected of the Anywhere Door. This is amazing!"
Yoruha's grin stretched wide as he praised his invention.
Ding! The host used the Anywhere Door. Reward: 5 points!
The cheerful tone of the system immediately dampened Yoruha's excitement. It was as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over his head. His grin twitched.
"5 points... Ugh, I'm still so weak..."
"It seems I'll need Kaido and the others to try it out. Only then can I accumulate enough points to hit 10,000 for a golden ten-draw!"
With that thought, Yoruha stepped back through the door.
Outside the lab, Kaido had already finished his seclusion. Upon hearing that Yoruha was still inside, he had ordered all members of the Beasts Pirates to gather 100 meters from the lab and wait for Yoruha's appearance.
Despite the drizzle, the area around the small lab was teeming with people. From low-ranking Gifters to the Six Flying Fighters and the Three Disasters, everyone stood in anticipation, eager to see Yoruha's new creation—the Anywhere Door.
"A door that can take you to any place you've been before? Just imagining it gives me chills!"
"With this thing, we'll be unbeatable in battles! If we can win, we'll drop reinforcements everywhere. If not, we'll retreat instantly!"
"Let's not jump to conclusions. This kind of advanced tech—can Ten-Sai-sama really pull it off?"
"Even if he can't, it's fine. Spatial technology is just too hard. Even Vegapunk hasn't cracked it!"
As murmurs spread through the crowd, a door suddenly materialized in their midst.
"Huh? What's that?"
Noticing the sudden anomaly, King gripped his weapon tightly, his vigilance rising.
Someone had managed to enter the heart of the Beasts Pirates' territory without being detected. This had to be someone as powerful as Kaido.
On the other side, Yoruha had just stepped out of the door, only to be met with a sea of elite pirates staring at him. Worse, King seemed ready to attack!
"Wait, don't attack, King! It's me, Yoruha!"
Yoruha's mouth twitched in panic. If he got killed in his own experiment, that would be a terrible way to go.
Realizing it was Yoruha, King lowered his weapon.
"Yoruha? Why did you suddenly appear behind us?"
Scratching his head awkwardly, King asked with a hint of embarrassment.
"This is the Anywhere Door I've been working on," Yoruha explained. "It lets you appear anywhere you've been before. I just used it to come out here—it saves the trouble of walking!"
Yoruha let out a sigh of relief, silently reminding himself to warn the crew in advance the next time he tested a strange invention. Otherwise, being mistaken for an enemy spy could lead to unnecessary trouble—or worse.
Anywhere Door?!
Every pair of eyes immediately turned to the large pink door behind Yoruha.
Queen, as a scientist, understood better than anyone the difficulty of spatial technology.
And now, Yoruha had built the Anywhere Door in just three days?
Queen's jaw dropped, leaving him speechless as he stood frozen in place.
Gulp... Gulp...
Queen swallowed hard, struggling to process what he was seeing.
Meanwhile, Jack, the straightforward one, rushed over to the door. He examined it closely, touching and inspecting it in disbelief.
"Incredible! This door can really cross space?" Jack exclaimed, his voice full of astonishment.
"Ah-ro-ro-ro-ro-ro!"
Kaido's boisterous laughter echoed around them.
No one was more excited than Kaido. With this door, his dream of launching a world-scale war seemed within reach!
Kaido strode up to the Anywhere Door, his face lighting up with joy.
"You never disappoint me, Yoruha!"
"Now tell me—how does this door work?" Kaido asked, practically bursting with anticipation.
"It's very simple, Kaido-sama. Just think of a place you've been before, step through the door, and you'll appear there instantly!" Yoruha explained calmly.
"Just like that?"
The gathered crowd—Three Disasters, Six Flying Fighters, and other elites—gawked in disbelief.
How could something so advanced be so easy to use?
"This feels less like science and more like magic," someone muttered, summing up what they were all thinking.
Kaido's excitement grew as he realized how effortless it was to use the Anywhere Door.
Where should he go first?
Right! Orochi. That sneaky little worm had been acting defiant lately. Time to remind him who was boss.
Without hesitation, Kaido boldly stepped through the door.
