...As Nat followed the hooded figure, they walked towards the rocky shoreline near the Khao Takiab Lighthouse. The figure led Nat to a quiet spot, partially hidden by large boulders and palm trees. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks filled the air, creating a sense of seclusion.
The figure stopped at a flat rock, gesturing for Nat to sit. Nat hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should trust this mysterious person. But his curiosity got the better of him, and he sat down on the rock.
The figure sat down beside him, pulling back its hood to reveal a familiar face. Nat's eyes narrowed as he took in the man's features. It was a middle-aged man in his thirties, with a weathered face and piercing brown eyes.
"Mister... Detective Khanthong?" Nat asked, trying to recall the name of the private detective he had hired.
Detective Khanthong nodded, a hint of a smile on his face. "Khun Nat," he said, using the Thai honorific title "Khun" (Mr./Ms./Mrs./Miss).
"I see you remember me."the Detective says
Nat's eyes locked onto the detective's. "You're the private detective I hired to investigate the shadow, right." Nat asked
Detective Khanthong nodded. "Yes, Khun Nat. I've been investigating the case, and I have some information to share with you."
Nat's curiosity was piqued. "What did you find out?"his voice firm
Detective Khanthong's expression turned serious. "To be honest, Khun Nat, I've found nothing. No surveillance footage, no witnesses, no evidence of any kind. It's as if the shadow is invisible."his voice calm yet uneven
Nat's face darkened. "That's impossible. I've seen him, My sister has seen him, Even my friends have seen him." His voice fullied with anger
Detective Khanthong nodded. "I believe you, Khun Nat" he calmly says trying to calm Nat down, " I've been stalking you and the other Elite members, and I've noticed a shadow following you guys around. But no matter how hard I investigate, it's like the shadow is invincible." He continues calmly
Nat's anger flared. "A invincible? You're telling me that my sister's attempted murderer was done by a ghost?" He yells sacarsticly
Detective Khanthong held up his hands. "Khun Nat, please. I'm just telling you what I've found. Or rather, what I haven't found." He replies calmly
Nat took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "Fine,Tell me about the sister case then."
Detective Khanthong's expression turned somber. "The case of your sister's attempted murder seven years ago...it's a strange one" He voice fullied with confusion
" Why.. Elaborate" Nat asked the detective calmly,
" Well .Khun Nat, Nobody saw anything, nobody knows anything" The detective says ." It's as if...the attacker was never there." He continues his voice fullied with frustration,
Nat's face twisted in anger. "That's not possible. I know what I saw." His voice firm
Detective Khanthong nodded. "I believe you, Khun Nat. But there's something more about that shadow " his voice fullied with confusion.
" What do you mean " confused Nat asked calmly
" I don't think we are dealing with a simple stalker " the detective replies, " I think there is a large conspiracy at play here " he says his voice a bit nervous
" Conspiracy" confused Nat asked again,
" Yes, everything in the case is perfectly planned..." The detective says," ...I believe it's not something a mere stalker can do.." he continues but got interrupted by Nat
" Right..." Nat yells," ... How can a mere stalker get into my school.. not to talk about the fact that it has good security" Nat continues in a confused tone,
" Right... about your sister case, I truly think it's strangely planned" the detective agrees,"I mean they was nothing catch on camera, no witnessed and no trail of evidence " he continues,
" Right... what about the investigation?" Nat asked calmly
" I investigated all the staffs but found nothing connecting them to the event nor the shadow " The detective replies,
" Everyone " Nat firmly asked
" Yes..." The detective replies," ...wait a minute" he continues, his voice having a bit suspicion in them
" What.. what's wrong " Nat nervously asked
" No.. not everyone" the detective nervously replies,
" What do you mean" Nat yells angrily,
" Well...A security staff member from your school went missing ,around the same time as the incident. Nobody knows what happened to him."
"So... what's wrong " Nat firmly asked,
" I wasn't able to investigate nor find him, which is strange" the detective nervously replies,
Nat's eyes narrowed. "So..Do you think he knows something about the shadow?"
The detective stayed quiet for some time as Nat nervously waited for his response....
