An enchanted clock ticked on the wall. The door creaked open as Ivy peeked inside.
Was Lucien here? she wondered. She didn't want to disturb him, but the system had insisted she spend quality time with him—which, of course, secretly brought joy to her heart.
She closed the door slightly behind her and stepped in. For the first time, she had the chance to observe his room closely. It was as dark as his personality. Black curtains covered the windows. The sheets were dark as well, adding to the room's mystery. The only colorful objects present were the golden enchanted clock and the golden candle stand. Everything else—the wall panels, the wardrobe, and even the cupboards—was made of black wood.
Ivy forced herself to stop staring and stepped further inside. Now fully in the room, she noticed the empty bed. Maybe Lucien isn't here…
