Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 Rescue Training at USJ

The announcement of three instructors overseeing the Hero Basics course caught everyone off guard. Normally, such training required only one teacher. Was there a special reason for this setup? A critical situation perhaps? The students couldn't tell, but none questioned the decision. After all, the school always had its reasons.

One curious student raised their hand. "Excuse me, what's today's training about?"

All Might's expression turned serious as he responded, "Today's Hero Basics course focuses on rescue training during natural disasters, floods, and other emergencies."

"Rescue training… sounds like it's going to be tough," Kaminari muttered, his voice tinged with apprehension.

"Idiot! Rescue is part of being a Hero! I can't wait to get started!" Kirishima said with excitement.

"If it involves floods, I'll be in my element," Asui Tsuyu added, her tone brimming with confidence.

Aizawa, standing at the podium, gave them all a sharp look. "Stop wasting time. Get into your combat uniforms and meet by the buses. The training ground isn't exactly close."

"He's right. Let's move," All Might added firmly.

---

While the others prepared eagerly, Akira sat silently, a solemn expression on his face.

Although he had lived in this world for over a year, many details from *My Hero Academia* had blurred. Yet, the USJ training and the first League of Villains attack stood out vividly in his memory.

In the original story, All Might had been absent from the USJ training, arriving only after the villains appeared. But this timeline was different—his own presence had altered things.

Would the League of Villains still show up? Or had the butterfly effect changed everything? Akira couldn't say for sure, but the uncertainty gnawed at him.

"Is something wrong? You seem distracted," Yaoyorozu asked, her tone laced with concern.

Akira snapped out of his thoughts, forcing a small smile. "It's nothing. Just remembering something."

Yaoyorozu nodded, though her eyes remained worried. "Alright, but don't take too long. The teachers want us to gather quickly."

"Got it," Akira replied, standing up. Though he lacked a custom combat uniform, he donned his sportswear and headed to join the others.

---

The bus ride to USJ buzzed with chatter. Most of the students were brimming with excitement, but Akira sat quietly at the back, gazing out the window.

Despite his earlier concerns, he felt strangely calm. The League of Villains didn't scare him.

First, his strength had grown significantly. While he wasn't invincible, few villains posed a real threat to him.

Second, with All Might present this time, the situation was vastly different from the original storyline.

"Oi! Say that again, and I'll kill you!" Bakugo's fiery temper flared mid-conversation, causing a commotion in the bus.

The ensuing chaos led to the students throwing jabs at each other, turning Bakugo's frustration into their amusement. By the end of it, Bakugo sat in his seat, glaring silently, his face pale with indignation.

"Alright, calm down. We're almost there," Aizawa said in his usual monotone.

---

The bus pulled up to the gates of the USJ training ground, where Space Hero No. 13 was waiting to greet them.

"Welcome, everyone! I've been expecting you!"

"It's Space Hero No. 13, a professional Hero renowned for disaster rescue!" Midoriya said, his eyes sparkling with admiration.

"So cool!" Uraraka chimed in, just as excited.

Under No. 13's guidance, the class entered the training facility.

USJ was far more impressive in person than it seemed on television. The expansive grounds featured real-life simulations of various disasters, from floods to landslides and fires.

"Wow… so this is USJ!"

"It's massive!"

"I can't believe how realistic it all looks!"

As the students marveled, Aizawa spoke up. "Alright, enough gawking. Let's get started."

No. 13 nodded and addressed the group. "Before we begin, I need to remind you of something important."

The class fell silent, listening intently.

"My Quirk, Black Hole, allows me to suck in and crush anything. While it's incredibly useful for saving lives, it can also be devastating if misused."

No. 13's tone grew somber. "Every Quirk has two sides. It can be a tool for rescue, or it can cause harm. I'm sure some of you have Quirks with similar potential."

Akira and Bakugo felt the weight of the class's collective gaze, their peers silently urging them to take extra care.

"Our superhuman society relies on strict regulations to ensure Quirks are used responsibly. A single mistake can cost lives. Keep that in mind."

The students nodded earnestly.

"Through Mr. Aizawa's fitness tests, you've discovered the potential of your Quirks. Through All Might's combat training, you've learned their dangers. Today, I want you to shift your mindset. This class is about learning how to use your Quirks to save lives!"

The class erupted in cheers.

Suddenly, a low rumble echoed through the facility. Equipment within USJ began to malfunction, the lights flickering ominously.

Akira's expression darkened. Something wasn't right. **The League of Villains might already be here.**
