"Er..."
Indeed, there was some truth in that.
Trouble was definitely something that the less, the better!
"Have I driven this flying car out before?" Reed suddenly asked.
A bit puzzled, No. 3 checked the records and then replied,"According to the records, this flying car has been kept in your garage since it was built. This is the first time you've driven it."
"That makes it easy then!" Reed smiled relaxedly.
"Later, get rid of this flying car. Anyway, that guy didn't see what I looked like. As long as neither you nor I say anything, no one will know it was us who did it."
It was just a pity that the performance of this car was really good. He hadn't expected it to be a disposable one.
But when he thought of those countless lovely flying cars in the garage, all lining up waiting for him to use them, he immediately didn't care anymore.
Reed looked around and picked a quiet corner. Then he slowly landed the flying car, making sure that he didn't attract the attention of others.
After the flying car landed smoothly, he got out leisurely and turned to No. 3, saying,"No. 3, find a hidden place to dispose of the car and don't leave any evidence behind."
"But I'm supposed to stay by your side, young master!" No. 3 was clearly hesitant.
Reed waved his hand and responded casually,"Come to find me after you've dealt with it. Nothing will go wrong."
In the end, No. 3 obeyed the order and hurriedly left in the flying car.
And Reed walked forward, looking relaxed and happy.
As he walked, he observed the surrounding environment. This was the outskirts of the city.
Although there were occasionally flying cars speeding by in the sky, most people still relied on ground transportation vehicles.
Even in his garage, there were quite a number of motorcycles, off-road vehicles and the like that ran on the ground.
Shortly after he walked out, a rumbling sound of engines came to his ears.
Several motorcycles rushed by wildly like beasts beside him, kicking up gusts of wind and sand.
Reed just frowned slightly and didn't stop his gaze. He didn't pay much attention to these motorcyclists.
However, a few minutes later, that group of motorcycles roared back again.
Reed looked sideways and saw a team of motorcycles speeding towards him like black bolts of lightning. The air was torn by the intense air currents, and even the corners of his clothes were flapping loudly in the wind.
The group of motorcycles came to a sudden halt beside him. The sharp screeching sound of the wheels rubbing against the ground was just like a sharp blade cutting through the void.
Reed's steps paused subconsciously, and he raised his eyebrows slightly, thinking to himself,"It seems that someone is deliberately looking for trouble with me."
But before he could react, a familiar voice reached his ears:"Reed, it's really you. I thought I was mistaken!"
This voice was like a key that instantly opened the door to Reed's memories.
The last sound he heard before losing consciousness on the day he transmigrated popped into his mind, and it was precisely from the person right in front of him.
When that man took off his helmet in a debonair manner, revealing a face with chiseled features, Reed instantly knew who it was.
This man was the original owner's good friend - Alton Nelson.
There was a touch of concern and delight in Alton's deep-set eyes as he said,"It seems you've fully recovered. That's a relief. I was just about to pay you a visit later."
Reed gave a slight nod and the corners of his mouth lifted into a faint smile."Yeah, I've recovered. Thanks a lot for what you did that day."
Alton was somewhat surprised by Reed's expression of gratitude. He scratched the back of his head and chuckled,"It was the least I could do. It's no big deal. Don't give it another thought."
Reed narrowed his eyes, wearing a lazy smile."So where were you headed?"
A glimmer of excitement flashed through Alton's eyes and he enthusiastically extended an invitation,"There's a match between heavyweight fighters at the boxing arena today. How about going to check it out?"
Reed raised his eyebrows once again, a spark of curiosity arising in his mind about this so-called"boxing arena".
Since he had nothing to do at the moment anyway, it wouldn't hurt to go and join in the fun.
His gaze slowly fell on Alton's motorcycle. Although he didn't say a word, his intention was as clear as day in his eyes.
Alton got the message. Swiftly, he swung his leg over the motorcycle and got off, while respectfully handing over the helmet in his hand.
Reed didn't take it. Instead, he swung his long leg over and sat firmly on the motorcycle.
Reed slammed the accelerator pedal to the floor. Instantly, the motorcycle shot out like an arrow leaving the bow. The powerful push from behind made his body lean back slightly, but he quickly stabilized himself with ease.
Seeing this, Alton hurriedly got on another person's motorcycle and shouted loudly,"Hurry up and follow!"
The motorcycles weaved through the streets and alleys of the city, speeding all the way like bolts of lightning.
Compared to the high-tech feel of flying cars, the rumbling sound of motorcycles carried a more primitive sense of power, which made people's blood boil.
Feeling the powerful driving force of the motorcycle, Reed curled the corners of his mouth into a slight smile and said,"This motorcycle is quite good too."
Soon, the motorcycle convoy drove into the area of the underground boxing gym.
The underground boxing gym was a rather secret place in the city, and only a few people knew its exact location.
Once inside the boxing gym, the surrounding atmosphere immediately became tense and exciting.
The air was filled with a mixture of smells - sweat, alcohol, smoke, and the bloody scent brought by boxing.
The interior layout of the underground boxing gym was extremely simple but highly functional.
In the huge hall, dozens of boxing rings were scattered in an orderly manner. On each ring, fighters were engaged in fierce battles, with punches landing solidly and the scenes were intense.
As soon as they stepped into the boxing gym, well-trained attendants came up to them and respectfully led Reed to the private box prepared especially for him.
Reed and Alton walked into the box side by side, while the others consciously went into another private room, knowing full well that their status wasn't high enough to enter this exclusive area.
Inside the box, the spacious sofas and glass walls provided a panoramic view of the entire boxing arena.
Through the thick glass windows, Reed could clearly see the entire panorama of the underground boxing arena, like a detached god looking down on the heated battles below.
Down in the boxing arena, numerous strong fighters were struggling on the rings, their fists and feet flying, fighting tooth and nail.
In the audience seats, shouts rose one after another, and the atmosphere grew even more intense.
The winners would win extremely high bonuses and reputations, while the losers would be quickly carried off the ring and might even lose the chance to fight again forever.
Those who didn't know much just watched the excitement, while those who were experts could see the subtleties.
Even though the atmosphere down there was electrifying, Reed just took one look around and knew that the level of these boxers was really mediocre.
After watching for a while, Reed found it rather boring. He curled his lips and said,"Is this the heavyweight match you mentioned? If it's all like this, I might as well go back to sleep." After saying that, he actually yawned, looking really sleepy.
Alton quickly explained,"Young Master , don't rush to leave! This is just a warm-up to liven up the atmosphere. Just wait a bit longer. Altai, who just became the boxing champion last week, will be on stage soon." He was really afraid that Reed would just walk away.
"The new boxing champion?" Reed became a bit interested.
This underground boxing arena had absolutely no rules at all.
Once on the stage, except for not being allowed to use weapons and not being allowed to poison opponents, any other fighting methods were permitted.
The fight wouldn't end until one of the opponents was completely knocked down and couldn't get up.
Life and death were a matter of fate, and wealth and honor depended on God.
However, as long as one won a match, they could earn an amount of money that ordinary people couldn't make in their entire lives.
So many people from the slums, in order to survive, didn't hesitate to take a gamble here.
And this Altai was from the slums.
