The haunting Past
It was a cool evening, the training ground was deserted after a hectic day of training, the scent of sweat and earth lingered in the air.
Liam stood in a corner of the training ground, with both arm locked together, his chest rising and falling with heavy breaths. He had spent the day forcing his body through different trainings, pushing himself over his limits, but no amount of training could solve his misery.
His mind was filled with the thoughts of Maya. He was worried about her resistance to him and their bond. Although It shouldn't have hurt this much, but it did.
Liam exhaled loudly, moving his head back to look at the sky. The moon was barely visible as at the time, hidden behind a thin veil of clouds.
He had neither doubted himself before, nor questioned his place in the pack. But now… he wasn't so sure anymore.
