Chapter 2 - Flames of Vengeance

Kang Joon: "Dad, where are you going? I want to go with you too."

Kang Joon's Dad ruffles his son's hair with a smile.

Kang Joon's Dad: "Oh, my dear, I'm just handling some public business. I'll be home soon, okay? Stay

here and keep practicing your sword skills and martial arts."

Kang Joon's dad gives him an encouraging nod before leaving. Kang Joon watches him go, then turns

to his training. He grips the wooden practice sword, focused, and starts working on his footwork.

Kang Joon's Father is the one of the most important image at the Great Hall, where he handle matter

related the whole empire security and he is the one of the strongest person in whole empire which

make him mole in eyes of people.

****The Great Hall is the emperor's domain, a grand chamber where the empire's most important

matters are decided. High ceilings and ancient banners create an atmosphere of power and fear. At

its centre stands the emperor's throne, casting a shadow over all who enter

[Tap, tap, tap—soft footfalls echo on the training ground.]

Suddenly, a small figure leaps out of nowhere, throwing her arms around him.

Kang Yul: "Big brother!"

Kang Joon stumbles back, surprised, as his little sister, Kang Yul, clings to him with a wide grin.

Kang Yul: "I want to play with you!"

Kang Joon gently pushes her back, smiling.

Kang Joon: "I'll play with you later, Yul. I have to practice right now."

Kang Yul pouts, her small hands tugging at his sleeve.

Kang Yul: "No! I want to play with you now!"

Kang Joon sighs but keeps his tone patient.

Kang Joon: "I promise I'll play later, Yul. I just have to get better first, okay?"

From the porch, their mother watches with a gentle smile. She folds her arms, leaning against the

doorframe.

Mother: "These two are always so cute together."

[Suddenly, the sound of heavy boots echoes across the courtyard—thud, thud, thud.]

Kang Joon's mother stiffened as she saw the group of men approach from the emperor's hall. Their

formal attire and stern expressions made it clear that this was not a casual visit. The leader, a man

with the bearing of someone accustomed to authority, stepped forward, his gaze cold and

unwavering.

Stranger:

"We are here on the emperor's orders. Sir Kang Min have had to come with us to the Great Hall

immediately."

His voice was commanding, but there was no malice in it—just the cold efficiency of a man carrying

out his duties. Kang Joon's mother instinctively pulled Kang Yul closer, her heart pounding with

unease.

Mother:

"What is this about? Where is my husband being taken?"

The leader's eyes flickered with impatience; his voice clipped as he continued.

Stranger:

"He has been accused of embezzling funds and trading the secret of our empire to enimies, in

collusion with the Minister of Funds. The minister himself has already admitted to the charges."

The words hung heavy in the air, a shockwave that hit Kang Joon's mother and sister with full force.

Kang Joon stands in front of the strangers with the wooden sword in hands, Kang Joon's grip

t

stunned feel the fear same when they see kang min, as the father as the son

Kang Joon:

"My dad can't do anything like this my dad is most honourable person in whole world and strongest

person in the world".

[Suddenly, a firm and commanding voice cuts through the tension like a blade.]

Kang Joon's Father: "What's going on here?!"

All eyes snap toward the entrance of the courtyard, where Kang Joon's father stands, his presence

immediately shifting the atmosphere. His expression is stern, and there's a controlled fury in his eyes

as he strides forward with authority.

Kang Joon's grip on the wooden sword loosens slightly, relief washing over him, but he doesn't step

aside.

Stranger: "Sir, kang you have to come to great hall, you have a complaint against you for embezzling

funds, in collusion with the Minister of Funds. The minister himself has already admitted to the

charges. Come at the Great Hall prove your innocence."

Kang Joon' Father: "Very well. I will go myself, now leave"

[footing sounds…. Strangers leaving the place]

Kang Joon's Mother: "Dear what happening, why they are accusing".

Kang Joon's Father: Don't worry, I'll handle this matter on my own. My little son, you are so brave,

protecting your mother and sister. You've grown so much at the age of seven—maybe I should start

looking for a spouse for you!

[Chuckles]

Kang Joon's Mother: What are you talking about? He's still a child!

Kang Joon's Father: I'm just joking, honey. Kang Joon always protects your mom and your sister when

I'm not around.

Kang Joon: I will, Dad! Don't worry, I'll become the strongest in the whole world!

[The next day, at the Great Hall. Kang Min stands before the Emperor.]

Voice: Today's agenda: Has Sir Kang Min embezzled funds in collusion with the Minister of Finance,

and traded our empire's secrets to the enemy?

Emperor: Do you admit your crimes of embezzling funds and sharing our secrets?

Kang Joon's Father: No, I do not! I have done nothing wrong. I don't understand why the Minister

would claim I embezzled funds. And why I he saying I am the traitor in the empire and trading our

secrets You know, as a descendant of the immortals, I could never do such a thing.

Emperor: I know you, Kang Min. I don't believe you would do something like this. We will re

investigate the matter. I trust your loyalty. Everyone, take your seats.

Everyone sits. Kang Min drinks from his cup and suddenly begins to lose consciousness.

Kang Min (thinking): What... is this feeling? Is it the water...?

Kang Min: Why, Emperor? Why are you doing this? I have always been loyal to you!

The Emperor and other ministers smirk.

Emperor: Why? Because you've become too powerful, and you're a thorn in my side. You, descendant

of the immortals... Arrest his family!

Kang Min: No! Please! I beg you, leave my family alone! Kang Joon, whose meridians are blocked by a drug, is too weak to stand.

The Emperor's men are searching for his family.

Kang Joon's Mother: Son, take your sister and run as far as you can! Don't stop, and take this jade

stone. Don't come back until you're stronger than your father, and don't believe in anyone who say

bad things about our family, you dad is loyal person

Kang Joon: I know mom, Mom, don't leave us, please!

Kang Joon's Younger Sister: Mom, Dad, don't leave us!

Footsteps echo from behind.

Voices: Search every corner. They must not escape, or we're finished!

Kang Joon's Mother: My son, protect your sister. Run as far as you can!

Kang Joon, carrying his sister, escapes to another village, hiding in a stable. While his sister is hungry,

he goes to find food. When he returns, he sees his sister captured by the Emperor's men. They execute

her before his eyes.

Kang Joon, in shock and tears, tries to scream but is silenced by someone from behind, who takes him

away.

Kang Joon: Dad, I'm sorry. I couldn't protect Mom and Yul. I am sorry mom I couldn't protect Yul, I'm

sorry, Yul... your big brother was too weak...

Grief-stricken, Kang Joon vows vengeance.

Voice (softly): What is your name?

Kang Joon: Kang Joon. Who are you? Why did you save me?

Hye Rin: My name is Hye Rin. I lost my way and saw what happened. I'm so sorry you've suffered.

Kang Joon, holding back tears, burns with a desire for revenge.

Hye Rin: You can come with me. I live in another kingdom. It's a chance for you to grow stronger.

Kang Joon: Thank you.

Kang Joon leaves with Hye Rin, pursuing the path of martial arts, determined to avenge his family. He

discovers the jade stone holds his family's martial arts secrets when he turns 10. Hye Rin visits him

often, and they slowly fall in love, though Kang Joon suppresses his feelings, consumed by his quest

for revenge.

Fifteen years later...

Kang Joon, now 25, has reached the peak of mortal strength. In one night, he enacts his revenge,

wiping out the Empire.

Emperor: Kang Joon... are you Kang Min's son? You were supposed to be dead!

Kang Joon: Tell me, why was my family falsely accused of treason?

Emperor: We feared the power of a descendant of the immortals. So we conspired against your

family.

Kang Joon: My father was loyal to you, and this is how you repaid him!

Kang Joon executes the Emperor, limb by limb, ending his life.

Few Months later...

Kang Joon and Hye Rin are deeply in love, expecting a child, and planning their wedding. But on the

wedding day, when they toast, Kang Joon senses something wrong. Hye Rin collapses.

[Emperor son was far away when Kang Joon wipe the slayed the emperor and his empire]

Emperor's Son: Kang Joon, you will die just like your father. Thanks to your friend's betrayal, I have

you right where I want you.

The Emperor's son approaches Hye Rin.

Emperor's Son: Beg, or I'll kill your wife and unborn child, just like your father did beg for you.

Kang Joon: Please, spare them. I beg you...

The Emperor's son stabs Hye Rin's womb and beheads her. Kang Joon, overwhelmed with grief and

rage, transcends his limits.

The jade stone glows, unlocking his latent powers. Entering the immortal stage, he annihilates the

Empire, delivering the most painful death to the Emperor's son.

Ten years later...

Kang Joon, now the strongest in the world, sits at his family's graves.

Kang Joon (weeping): Why was I too late? Mom, Dad, Yul, Hye Rin, my unborn child... I'm sorry I was weak.

Kang Joon's Last Words: I'm sorry I was weak... Mom, Dad, Yul, Hye Rin, and my unborn child...

Kang Joon, filled with sorrow, takes his own life at the graves by slaying his head off.
