Chapter 3 - Regain

[Scene: Hospital Room – Night]

The doctor enters, checking Jin Wook's condition as his parents anxiously stand by his side, fear evident in their eyes.

Doctor: "Don't worry, he's fine. It's just the shock. Nothing serious—he's out of the coma, but the sudden shock made him lose consciousness temporarily. He just needs rest now."

Jin Wook's Dad: Relieved "Thank you, Doctor."

[Scene: Awakening in a New World – The Next Morning]

Jin Wook wakes up again, this time with a profound sense of clarity. The memories of his past life hit him like a tidal wave—each recollection sharper and more painful than the last. He remembers his previous life as one of the weakest men in a world that valued strength above all, and the sting of losing everything dear to him. Tears stream down his face, and he whispers, "I'm sorry, everyone... I was too weak."

[Jin Wook's Mother Enters]

Jin Wook's mother walks into the room, holding a plate of fruit. She freezes when she sees him crying, the fruit falling from her hands as she rushes to his side.

Jin Wook's Mom: "Jin, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Why are you crying? Tell me, my son!"

[Jin Wook can't tell her that he have his past life memories]

Jin Wook: Voice trembling "I'm so sorry, Mom. I made you all worry... Please, forgive me. I'm so sorry."

(In his heart, he apologizes not only for the accident but also for the regrets of his past life—the weight of his losses, the grief of failing to protect what he cherished most.)

Jin Wook's Mom: Gently wiping his tears "My son, there's nothing to forgive. You've always been a good boy who would never hurt me. Calm down, Jin, and tell me what happened. Why are you in this state?"

[Jin Wook Struggles to Speak]

[Jin Wook can't bring himself to confess the truth—that old me had attempted to end his life because of the cruelty of certain people. Instead, he lowers his gaze.]

Jin Wook: "Mom... I don't know. When I was on the terrace, I lost my footing and fell."

Jin Wook's Mom: Softly "Alright, son. I understand. Rest now, I'll call the doctor."

[Scene: Doctor's Visit]

The nurse calls the doctor for a follow-up checkup. After a thorough examination, the doctor gives his assessment.

Doctor: "Everything looks good now. He's stable. You can take him home the day after tomorrow."

Jin Wook's Mom: "Thank you, Doctor."

[In night Jin Wook dream about his previous life parents]

[Scene: Jin Wook's Dream – A Glimpse of His Past Life]

Jin Wook dreams of his previous life as Kang Joon. He finds himself standing in front of his old home, a scene he thought he'd never see again.

[Kang Joon's Mother stands at the doorway, her face full of warmth and love]

Kang Joon's Mom: "Yul, be careful! Don't get hurt!"

Kang Joon watches the familiar scene from a distance, tears welling up in his eyes as he sees his mother again.

Kang Joon: "Mom... Mom! You're okay! I thought I was trapped in an endless nightmare... but I'm finally awake!"

[Kang Joon's Father appears and gently taps him on the head]

Kang Joon: "Ouch! Why did you hit me, Dad?"

Kang Joon's Dad: Solemnly "Kang Joon, listen carefully. What you suffered through... it wasn't a dream. It was real."

Kang Joon's eyes widen in shock as reality crashes down on him, and he begins to cry.

Kang Joon: "I'm sorry, Dad... I was so weak. I couldn't protect Mom, I couldn't protect Yul... I couldn't even protect my wife and child. I failed everyone I loved."

[Kang Joon's Mother pulls him into a gentle embrace]

Kang Joon's Mom: "No, my dear son. It wasn't your fault. You were always righteous and strong. You're stronger than your father—you did everything you could, and we've seen it all."

Kang Joon's Dad: "That's right, my son. You were never at fault. I know your wife feels the same way. She wouldn't want you to blame yourself."

[Yul, Kang Joon's younger sister, runs toward him with a bright smile]

Yul: "Big Brother! Yul wants to play with you! Big Brother, hug me!"

Kang Joon sobs, remembering Yul's tragic death, the weight of his failure crashing over him again.

Kang Joon: "Yul... I'm so sorry. I was such a worthless big brother. I couldn't protect you... I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you when you needed me."

[Kang Joon's Parents gently intervene, their faces full of understanding and love]

Kang Joon's Mom and Dad: "Kang Joon—no, Jin Wook. You now have a new family, a new life to protect. We were your family once, but you have another family now that needs you. Don't cry over the past. Let us find peace, and go protect those you care about. We love you, our dear son. It's time for you to move on... to live for those who are with you now."

Kang Joon—now Jin Wook—watches as his past family fades into the distance, leaving him with a renewed sense of purpose.

[The Strongest man crying in the arms of his parents]

Kang Joon's Mom and Dad (Echoing): "We love you, our son... Now go to your new family."

[Jin Wook wake up from his dream and his eyes fill with tears and he wipe them]

Jin Wook :  I will not be weak again Mom, Dad and Yul I will cherish my new family in new world, thankyou mom and dad, I will miss you everyone. Thank you to make me your son

[At Jin Wook's House]

[Morning sunlight filters through the window as Jin Wook stretches, feeling his weak, fragile body.]

Jin Wook (Determined):

"I can't believe how weak this body is compared to my past life. If I'm to protect my new family, I must grow stronger. I'll start with Qi Refinement, though Earth has such low Qi levels... It'll take time to open all my meridians. Still, I'll do it. In my past life, I reached the Immortal Ascendant stage—I can become stronger than my past-self
