After a little while, Prince Ryu's arm finally returned to normal. He flexed his fingers and examined it carefully, relief washing over his face.
"See? I told you it's the permanent cure," Wei said, brushing his hands together as if completing a delicate task.
Prince Ryu gave a skeptical glance at Wei. "Yes, but where is Black Fire now?"
"Oh, it's right here," Wei replied, holding up the glowing box. He opened it carefully, revealing the transformed Black Fire.
This time, the weapon looked drastically different. The green gem at its center had turned a deep crimson, and the once blue handle was now pitch black, radiating an ominous aura.
Ryu's eyes widened in surprise. "Whoa… it's changed since the last time I saw it."
Wei nodded thoughtfully, studying the weapon. "You're right. It's undergone a transformation—just like the other Sevpons after they bonded with their owners' blood."
Prince Ryu frowned, his gaze lingering on the weapon. "So… what are we going to do with it now?"
Wei closed the box with a snap and looked up. "I'm going to hide it—away from everyone. I'll secure it with magic so no one can take it out. This thing is far too dangerous to risk falling into the wrong hands."
Prince Ryu nodded firmly. "Yes, that's probably for the best… for every dimension."
Wei summoned another container, this time an intricately designed magical box. As he prepared to place Black Fire inside, his mask appeared in the air alongside it, seemingly by accident.
Ryu and Prince Ryu exchanged a glance before their eyes landed on the mask.
"Why do you still have this mask?" Prince Ryu asked, tilting his head slightly.
Wei's expression softened as he picked it up. "It reminds me of the fight against Noxic," he said quietly.
Ryu grinned. "You really surprised him when you pulled that mask off. The look on his face was priceless."
Wei chuckled softly, turning the mask over in his hands. "And I happen to like its design and colors."
Ryu raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Well, at least you like something other than books."
Wei shot him a dry look. "Ha ha. Very funny. Now, shall we head back to our dimension?"
"Yes," Ryu replied, glancing at the nearby window where the sky was beginning to darken. "We're getting late."
Wei turned to Prince Ryu. "We'll come to visit you again soon."
Prince Ryu smiled warmly. "I'll be waiting."
Ryu stretched his arms. "Wei, open the portal already."
Wei opened the portal, and they stepped through, returning to the EX Agency's Hospital. The familiar hum of the energy in the air settled around them. Wei dismissed the box containing Black Fire, making it vanish with a simple wave of his hand. He glanced at Ryu as they walked toward the exit.
After a moment, Master Kyo entered the room, his tall figure commanding attention.
"Sir," both Wei and Ryu greeted in unison as they looked up.
Master Kyo gave a small nod, his gaze shifting to them with a keen interest. "So, did your cure work?"
Wei nodded. "Yes, it worked."
Master Kyo's expression didn't change, but his eyes briefly flickered with relief. "Good. So, is he able to travel now?"
"Yes, Sir," Wei confirmed.
"Thanks to Wei's magic," Ryu added with a small smile.
Master Kyo gave a small, approving nod. "Nice. So, will you both join our Agents Team EX?"
Ryu hesitated for a moment, glancing at Wei. "I'll think about it."
Wei crossed his arms and smiled slightly. "I'll join, but after eight months of courses."
Master Kyo chuckled softly. "That's fair. You'll be ready in no time. Now, when will we go back to training? I don't want to miss the test."
Ryu raised an eyebrow, his usual enthusiasm returning. "Oh yes, I almost forgot about that. Let's get going."
Master Kyo's voice became more serious. "Oh, I almost forgot. There's something urgent. I heard Jin has a high fever and is in the EX Training Agency's hospital."
Ryu's face darkened. "What? We should go check on him right now."
Master Kyo nodded. "Let's go. The car is waiting."
They hurried outside, and as they approached the parking lot, they saw the car waiting. It was a sleek black Lucid Air, its design sharp and elegant. The cream-colored seats gleamed under the soft light, offering a stark contrast to the exterior.
Master Kyo gestured toward the car. "Get in. We'll head over right now."
Without wasting any more time, Master Kyo slid into the driver's seat, starting the engine. The car sped off, weaving through the streets. The quiet hum of the engine filled the air as they drove toward the EX Training Agency's hospital.
In just 13 minutes, they arrived at their destination. Without hesitation, Ryu sprinted toward the hospital entrance, his long strides eating up the ground. Wei followed more calmly, glancing at Master Kyo and nodding his thanks before heading inside as well. Ryu reached outside of the hospital's ward. He saw Kai and Tony sitting on the chairs, their faces tense with worry. Ryu approached them, his voice tight with concern.
"How is Jin now?" Ryu asked, his brows furrowed.
"Too bad condition," Tony replied, his voice low and heavy.
Ryu's stomach tightened. "But when did this happen?" he asked, his eyes darting between Kai and Tony.
Kai sighed, rubbing his temples. "When we arrived here, Master Feng told us to get ready for class. But while Jin was getting ready, he started complaining about a headache. I told him to rest, but when I came back from class, he had a high fever. His temperature keeps increasing," Kai said, his voice tinged with guilt.
Wei, who had been approaching, stopped short when he heard the conversation. His face turned grim as he hurried closer.
"What? His temperature kept increasing? Can we go meet him?" Wei asked, his tone sharp with urgency.
Kai glanced at him, shaking his head slightly. "You should ask the doctor."
The three of them made their way to the doctor's office. Wei stepped forward, trying to keep his voice steady despite his worry.
"Sir, there is a patient named Jin," Wei said.
The doctor looked up from his desk, a tired expression on his face. "Hmm. Oh, that boy, with increasing fever… he is still unconscious," the doctor replied.
Ryu leaned forward, his voice almost pleading. "Can we meet him?"
The doctor nodded. "Yes," he said simply.
Relief mixed with anxiety as Ryu turned to Kai. "Let's go, Kai," Ryu said, motioning towards the ward.
When they entered the room, the air felt heavy. Jin lay motionless on the bed, his face pale and beads of sweat covering his forehead. Wei stepped closer, his eyes narrowing as he examined Jin's condition.
Suddenly, Wei froze. His gaze locked onto Jin's neck, where faint black lines had begun to spread like ominous veins. Wei's breath hitched as a chill ran through him.
Before Wei could react, his magic spiraled out of control. Black Fire appeared, its fiery aura crackling dangerously. The room lit up with a sudden burst of energy. Jin's eyes shot open, glowing with a strange intensity.
Without hesitation, Jin's hand reached out and grabbed the Black Fire sword. The moment his fingers wrapped around the hilt, a wave of heat exploded outward.
In an instant, the entire EX Agency was engulfed in roaring flames, the walls shaking as the fire spread uncontrollably.
When Tony opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was the overwhelming heat. The entire EX Agency was engulfed in flames, the walls groaning under the pressure of the fire. He turned his head and saw Master Feng, standing firm amidst the chaos, using his aerokinesis to fight the raging inferno.
Tony's breath hitched as dread filled him. His voice trembled as he muttered to himself, "No, it happened. No, no, nooo."
Panic overtook him as he stumbled through the wreckage, searching for his friends and his brother. His heart pounded as he spotted Kai lying on the ground, motionless.
"Kai, Kai, wake up, please wake up!" Tony shook Kai desperately, his voice breaking.
Kai stirred slightly, his eyelids fluttering open. "What happened? Where is my tea?" Kai mumbled, his tone groggy and unaware of the chaos around him.
Frustration surged through Tony. He slapped Kai lightly but firmly. "Snap out of it!"
Kai blinked rapidly, the clumsiness in his demeanor fading as he noticed the destruction around them.
"My vision… it became true. Where are the others?" Tony asked, his voice filled with urgency.
Kai's face grew serious, disbelief clouding his features. "What? How could it be?"
"I don't know. Let's find the others!" Tony replied, his tone sharp as he helped Kai to his feet.
The two began searching frantically. Kai soon found Ryu, sprawled out on the ground, debris scattered around him.
"Wake up, Ryu! Wake up!" Kai shook him vigorously.
Ryu groaned, his eyes slowly opening. "What… What just happened?"
Kai's voice was urgent but steady. "I'll explain everything later, but for now, we need to find the others."
Meanwhile, Tony froze when he saw Wei's hand pinned under a pile of ceiling bricks. His heart sank as he rushed over, his hands trembling as he began removing the debris.
When the last brick was removed, he gasped. Wei's face was burnt, blood trickling down his forehead. He looked pale and lifeless.
"Wei, Wei, Wei! Wake up!" Tony shouted, his voice cracking as he gently shook his brother.
Wei stirred, wincing in pain as he opened his eyes slightly. "Ahh… Where is Jin?" Wei's voice was hoarse, barely audible.
"I don't know," Tony admitted, his eyes glistening with worry.
Wei grimaced, his expression darkening. "How did this happen?"
Tony hesitated before replying, his voice heavy with guilt. "Remember my vision? I warned you before. Now it's come true… but I'm glad you're all safe."
Wei nodded weakly, but their relief was short-lived. They regrouped and began searching for Jin. Suddenly, a black-colored fireball whizzed through the air toward them and exploded with a deafening roar, sending shockwaves that knocked them back.
