Chapter 23 - Allies Across Dimensions

Meanwhile, Wei opened the portal to the Royal dimension in Prince Ryu's room.

"You never came that early and never like this way before. What's the matter?" Prince Ryu asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Long story but in short, Jin has turned into a monster, and he has Black Fire now," Wei answered, his voice heavy.

Prince Ryu's expression darkened. "But how did he turn into the monster? And, why are you wearing that mask?" he questioned, studying Wei's face closely.

"I think he turned into a monster because he has four Sevpons' powers in one. As of now, he has Black Fire, so he is mostly impossible to defeat. About the mask, I will tell you later—if we survive and manage to defeat him," Wei answered, his tone cold but firm.

Prince Ryu clenched his fists. "So, what can I do for you?" he asked.

"We need your and your army's help," Wei said without hesitation.

"Okay, I am going to get my force ready, while you search for any other way except killing Jin," Prince Ryu replied, determination gleaming in his eyes.

"Alright," Wei said and turned away, lost in thought.

Prince Ryu quickly gathered his army and returned to Wei. "I have gathered my army. Have you found any other way?" Prince Ryu asked, his voice steady but concerned.

"Yes, but I am afraid it will bring a bigger threat than this. But I will do anything to save Jin. I am opening the portal to my world. You all head there while I go somewhere else," Wei answered, his words carrying a weight he couldn't shake off.

"Alright," Prince Ryu said, giving Wei a final glance before focusing on his army.

Wei opened the portal to his dimension. Prince Ryu and his entire army entered, their expressions shifting to alarm as they saw the destruction. The building was in ruins, and flames roared like wild beasts, consuming everything in their path. The soldiers glanced at each other, unease spreading through their ranks.

When the last of the army stepped through, Wei closed the portal and opened another one. The swirling energy rippled as he stepped through, traveling back in time to when Prince Wei was alive. He arrived at a vibrant, bustling kingdom, spotting Prince Wei heading toward his castle. Without hesitation, Wei ran after him.

"Who are you?" the guard demanded, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword, eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"I want to meet Prince Wei. It's urgent," Wei replied, his tone firm but respectful.

"The Prince doesn't want to meet anyone. Go away," the guard snapped, his stance rigid.

Wei's eyes narrowed slightly. "Alright, but I will meet him at any cost," he muttered under his breath before stepping back.

When Prince Wei entered his room, the heavy door locked behind him with a loud thud.

"Who is it?" Prince Wei's voice rang out, sharp and commanding. "I know you are here. Come by yourself, or I will do it another way."

Wei exhaled deeply and made himself visible, stepping out from the shadow near the bookshelf.

Prince Wei turned swiftly, his piercing gaze locking onto him. "Who are you?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

"My name is Wei, and I am from the Dimension of Life," Wei answered, his voice steady despite the intensity of the room.

Prince Wei's eyes narrowed. "What? How does an ordinary person have the power to travel through dimensions?"

"I am from the future," Wei explained. "I have the same powers as you."

Prince Wei's expression shifted slightly, curiosity flickering across his face. "But why come to the past to meet me? You could meet me in the present." He paused, his voice softening. "Let me guess—I'm dead in your time."

Wei's silence was enough of an answer.

"I didn't want to tell you that," Wei admitted, his voice heavy, "but we have a problem, and I thought you were the only one who could solve it."

Prince Wei crossed his arms. "What is it?"

"In the future," Wei began, "we have found six Sevpons, and one of our friends accidentally gained the powers of four of them in his Sevpon. Now he has turned into a beast. We also destroyed the Black Fire, but it resurrected in the future. That same friend now wields Black Fire too."

Prince Wei's eyes darkened as he processed the information. "We have to snatch those weapons from him. Open the portal to your world."

Wei shook his head, frustration flickering in his gaze. "I can't open more than one time portal in a day."

"Why not?" Prince Wei asked, his brow furrowing.

"If I try, my magic stops working for the whole day," Wei explained, his voice tinged with irritation.

Prince Wei considered this for a moment, then walked to a nearby shelf. He retrieved a thick, ornate book and handed it to Wei. "Maybe you're using the wrong spell to open the portal. Here, you'll find the right one in this book."

Wei's eyes lit up with a hint of hope. "Alright, let's try it."

He flipped through the pages, studying the runes carefully, and recited the spell. A portal materialized, glowing with a steady, powerful energy. Without wasting a moment, they both stepped through.

Back in the Dimension of Life, chaos greeted them. The battlefield was alive with fire and fury. Prince Ryu's army clashed fiercely with the creature army. The sound of clashing weapons and roars echoed through the air.

Ryu and Prince Ryu came to each other while fighting the creature.

"Hello, Prince," Ryu said, throwing a monster away with a sharp wave of his hand, his voice steady despite the chaos around them.

"Hello, Ryu," Prince Ryu replied, summoning an electric shield around them both. Sparks crackled in the air as he asked, "Where did those monsters come from?"

"Jin summoned them," Ryu answered, his tone grim.

"And where is Jin?" Prince Ryu's eyes narrowed as his grip on the shield tightened.

"Kai is keeping him busy while Wei finds a way to defeat Jin," Ryu explained, glancing briefly toward the battlefield.

"Do you think Kai will be able to keep him busy? Jin has the power of four Sevpons in one and also Black Fire," Prince Ryu said, a note of concern evident in his voice.

"Do you think we have to help Kai?" Ryu asked, his brows furrowing.

"I think we should go," Prince Ryu answered firmly.

"You help others to defeat those monsters. I'm going to Kai," Ryu replied, his determination unwavering.

"Alright," Prince Ryu said with a nod.

Ryu started flying with his telekinesis powers, his movements swift and controlled.

"You can fly?" Prince Ryu said, his eyes widening in surprise.

"I figured out my inner power was blocked due to Black Fire. Since Black Fire is gone, I can use my power, which is telekinesis," Ryu explained, a slight smile tugging at his lips.

"That's so cool," Prince Ryu said, shaking his head in amazement.

While the two Ryus were talking, Master Feng glanced toward them mid-fight, his expression puzzled. "How does Ryu have a clone? Is it his new power?" he asked Tony, kicking a monster away with force.

Tony, dodging another attack, replied, "Remember we told you our story to get powers? He's Ryu's duplicate from the other dimension."

"And where is Wei?" Master Feng asked, punching a creature that lunged toward him.

"He might be finding a solution to defeat Jin," Tony answered, his voice strained but steady.

"You mean Jin is that flying monster? But how did he turn into a monster?" Master Feng's eyes widened in shock, his disbelief evident.

"No one knows, but Wei thinks that killing Jin is the only way to save all dimensions," Tony said, a hint of regret in his voice.

Prince Ryu approached them, his electric shield shimmering as it fended off a nearby attack. "Ryu got a new power," he said, a slight smirk on his face.

"What? Tell me what it is," Tony said, punching another creature.

A monster leaped at Master Feng, who swiftly used his aerokinesis to hurl it toward Tony. Tony jumped, his fist turning the creature to stone mid-air. Prince Ryu shattered the stone with a burst of electricity.

"You should tell us both what it is," Master Feng said, brushing dust off his shoulder.

"It's telekinesis," Prince Ryu replied simply.

"COOL," Tony exclaimed, grinning.

"Where is he now?" Master Feng asked, raising his hand to blow another creature away with a gust of air.

"He went to help Kai keep Jin busy," Prince Ryu answered.

"And where is your brother?" Tony asked, eyeing the battlefield.

"He is in his training," Prince Ryu said, turning to focus on another wave of creatures.

Suddenly, half of the monsters collapsed without warning. Everyone stopped momentarily, scanning the area. Their eyes landed on Prince Wei.

"Wei, he is back," Prince Ryu said, his gaze fixed on the figure.

Tony squinted at Prince Wei. Noticing his unscarred face, Tony said, "No, he is Prince Wei."

"What?" Prince Ryu and Master Feng exclaimed in unison, their voices laced with confusion.

"Wei is Prince?" Master Feng asked, his brow furrowed.

"No. Prince Wei is Prince, but Wei is not Prince," Tony clarified, shaking his head.

"Huh?" Master Feng looked thoroughly confused.

"He's Wei's duplicate from the other dimension. But he was dead—how did he come here?" Tony said, frowning.

"But where is Wei?" Master Feng asked, just as the remaining half of the monsters dropped lifelessly.

Their attention shifted to Wei, who stood beside Prince Wei, his face hidden behind his mask.

Prince Ryu ran up to Prince Wei, his voice filled with urgency. "Prince, is that really you?"

"Yes, it's me, Prince Ryu," Prince Wei answered, his tone calm but resolute.

Tony and Master Feng joined them.

"So, did you find another way?" Tony asked, his eyes flicking between the two Weis.

"Yes," Wei answered, his voice steady. "But we have to snatch both Sevpons from Jin first. Where is he now?"

"Kai took him away from here," Tony replied. "He took him to the riverside."

"Let's get there quickly," Prince Wei said, his voice commanding as he gestured for them to follow.
