"Carter Ross?" Sierra muttered as he saw the figure turn around. Seven years ago she saved a twenty year old from near death experience she took care of him and helped him walk again after she done she gave him money and she just up and left. Her eyes narrowed but them they became warm you could say Carter Ross is a brother she wished she had instead of her scumbag stepbrother and stepsisters.
Carter's eyes locked onto Sierra's, a hint of surprise and then a warm smile spreading across his face. He took a step forward, his movements fluid and confident, and Sierra could see the familiar spark in his eyes.
"Sierra," he said, his voice low and rough, but filled with a deep affection.
"It's been a long time."
"Of course it's you so what can you tell me about my past Brother Carter? About the new fourth miss of the Watergate who replaced me," Sierra asked she waved her hand as two beers appeared in her hand she handed one to Carter and the other for herself.
Carter's eyes lit up with a mixture of surprise and amusement as he took the beer from Sierra. He popped the cap off and took a sip, his eyes never leaving hers.
"Ah, you're still as direct as ever, Sierra," he said with a chuckle. He leaned against the railing, his eyes scanning the cityscape before focusing back on Sierra.
"The new Fourth Miss of the Watergate... Mia, I think her name is. She's not who she seems to be, Sierra. She's been manipulating people and using her charm to get what she wants. But what's more interesting is that she's not the only one who's been playing the game." Carter's eyes locked onto Sierra's, his expression serious.
"There's someone else, someone who's been pulling the strings from behind the scenes. And I think you're in danger, Sierra."
"So wait a moment the woman u meant Olivia, you are telling me they are identical twins so Mia wasn't there herself because she was what busy cultivating and becoming a stronger mage?" Sierra asked in a cold yet simple manner.
Carter's eyes narrowed, his expression grave.
"That's right, Sierra. Olivia and Mia are identical twins. And from what I've gathered, they've been playing a long game. Olivia took your place as the Fourth Miss, using her charm and beauty to deceive everyone. Meanwhile, Mia was busy cultivating her powers in secret, becoming a stronger mage. It's a clever plan, really. They've been manipulating everyone, including your family, to get what they want." Carter's voice dropped to a whisper.
"But there's more, Sierra. I've heard rumors that Mia's powers are not just any ordinary magic. She's been experimenting with dark magic, and I think she's getting close to achieving her goals."
"I am not scared of dark magic when I have both dark magic and light magic elements of magic, second now I think I get it my father didn't just cheat on my mother or my stepmother Sia, so it seems I have another stepmother…who have two troublesome twins, hehe how wonderful the more I can crush the better," Sierra said coldly and her eyes flickered making the sky crack for a slight moment before it disappeared.
Carter's eyes widened in surprise, and he took a step back, his eyes fixed on Sierra's face. The air around her seemed to ripple and distort, as if the very fabric of reality was being warped by her emotions. The crack in the sky was a stark reminder of the incredible power that lay within her.
"Sierra, calm down," Carter said, his voice low and soothing.
"You're not thinking clearly. You can't just go after them without a plan. You need to think about the consequences, the repercussions." But Sierra's expression didn't change, her eyes still flashing with a cold, calculating light. Carter's words seemed to fall on deaf ears, and he knew that he had to tread carefully. He didn't want to trigger a full-blown explosion.
"Sierra, listen to me," he said, his voice soft and gentle.
"We can work together to take them down. We can gather allies, come up with a strategy. But you can't do this alone. You need my help."
"Don't worry I listen and I made four promises to my masters before I came back here as for helping me I don't want other ins my business but help me find more about the reason my father, and grandparents want me to work in Sunset Zuin Company," Sierra said she knows something is up and it must be something she can do.
Carter's eyes narrowed, his expression thoughtful.
"I see. I'll dig deeper into Sunset Zuin Company's dealings. But I have to warn you, Sierra, they're a powerful corporation with many connections. Whatever they're involved in, it's likely to be big." He paused, his eyes locked onto hers.
"I'll also look into your father's and grandparents' motives. But be careful, Sierra. You're playing with fire."
"I am already in the fire since seven years ago," Sierra muttered.
"Sierra be careful of Magnus Hardcastle," Carter said in a serious manner.
Sierra's eyes flickered, a hint of surprise crossing her face.
"Magnus Hardcastle?" she repeated, her voice low and cautious.
"What does he have to do with anything?" Carter's expression remained serious, his eyes locked onto hers.
"I've heard rumors, Sierra. Rumors that Magnus Hardcastle is not just a simple patriarch of the Hardcastle family. He's got connections to the highest levels of power, and he's not afraid to use them. And I think he's got his sights set on you." Carter's voice dropped to a whisper.
"Be careful, Sierra. He's not someone to be underestimated."
Sierra's eyes narrowed, a cold glint forming in their depths.
"I'm not afraid of him," she said, her voice low and even.
"I've faced worse than Magnus Hardcastle. But thank you for the warning, Carter." She paused, her gaze never wavering.
"I think it's time for me to pay a visit to Sunset Zuin Company. Care to join me?"
"Sure when?" Carter asked. Sierra stared at her gourd and she tipped it before she drink the delicious liquor inside and she licked her lips making her look so hot and sexy.
"Mmm Monday, let's just check it out, Carter I am going to go and visit a friend of mine tomorrow how about you play with your godchildren? Nevaeh is quiet but also tricky ball, Apollo is the middle child goofy full of energy and loves to prank but also loves to protect the ladies who live in the house, and Aurora is the youngest always full of energy wants to learn new things she is also a gamer."
Carter's eyes widened in surprise, and he couldn't help but chuckle at the description of the triplets.
"Sounds like they're a handful," he said with a grin.
"I'd love to spend the day with them, actually. I'm sure I can handle their unique personalities." He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "And I'm sure they'll keep me on my toes." He paused, his gaze flicking to Sierra's lips as she licked them, and for a moment, he seemed to forget what he was saying. Then, he cleared his throat and continued.
"Monday sounds good for checking out Sunset Zuin Company. I'll meet you there at... say, 10 am?"
Carter's eyes lingered on Sierra's face for a moment, and then he turned to leave, calling out over his shoulder.
"I'll make sure to bring my A-game for the triplets. See you Monday, Sierra."
