Roman's eyes widened in surprise, "What? How did you...? You're a genius, that's how! I've never seen anyone play Asiyo like that before. You're a true mastermind." He said, his voice filled with admiration. Nevaeh smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, Grandpa Roman. I have to go now, my mom is calling me." She said, logging off the game. Roman's eyes narrowed.
"Wait, what's your name? I want to know more about you." But Nevaeh was already gone, leaving Roman with more questions than answers. He leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. Who was this mysterious player, and how did they possess such incredible strategic skills?
Sierra who work up around 11:30 p.m she opened her Sokyo laptop she started to type some mathematical spell equations that someone sent her that no one has been able to solve or understand after she finished that she sent it like it was nothing. She closed her eyes and she saw a message from one of her patients. Oh yes the shopper she meant two weeks ago she needs to get all the ingredients ready to take care of his poison. She rubbed her temples.
Sierra sighed, "Not again... I swear, some people have no idea how to take care of themselves. Alright, let's see... what did I need to get for his antidote?" She rubbed her eyes, trying to focus on the task at hand. She quickly made a list of the ingredients she needed, her mind already racing with the preparation process. She was a genius, but even geniuses needed sleep. And she was running on fumes. She was a genius among geniuses. Sierra thought for a long time tomorrow she will go and take care of that person then she can be done with it.
Sierra's eyes scanned the list, her mind already thinking about the preparation process. She mentally checked off each ingredient, making sure she had everything she needed. With a satisfied nod, she saved the list and closed her Sokyo laptop which made the holographic screen disappear so did the air keyboard. She leaned back in her chair, her eyes drifting shut. Tomorrow, she would take care of the shopper's poison and be done with it. For now, she just needed to rest. She stood up, her movements quiet as she made her way back to bed, her mind already shutting down.
Sierra slipped into bed, her body sinking into the soft mattress. She closed her eyes, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew she had a busy day ahead of her, but for now, she just wanted to rest. Her breathing slowed, and her mind began to quiet, as she drifted off to sleep, the soft hum of the room's ambient music lulling her into a peaceful slumber.
The next day
The shopper's eyes lit up with excitement as he gazed at Sierra, his smile faltering for a moment as he took in her veiled face. He seemed to be searching for a glimpse of her features, but Sierra's veil remained firmly in place, concealing her identity. "Ah, yes, of course. A promise is a promise," he repeated, his voice filled with a mixture of gratitude and curiosity. He gestured for Sierra to follow him, leading her deeper into the shop, away from prying eyes. The woman at the front desk nodded discreetly as they passed, her eyes flicking to Sierra's veiled face before returning to her work.
The shopper led Sierra to a private room in the back of the shop, the air thick with the scent of rare herbs and potions. He closed the door behind them, his eyes never leaving Sierra's veiled face.
"I must say, I'm impressed," he said, his voice low and smooth.
"I've heard a lot about your... abilities. I wasn't sure if you'd actually show up." He smiled again, his eyes glinting with curiosity. Sierra remained silent, her expression hidden behind her veil. She simply nodded, her movements economical and precise, as she began to set out the ingredients she had brought with her. The shopper's eyes widened as he took in the array of rare and exotic materials, his smile growing wider.
"You're going to make the antidote, aren't you?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement.
"Zane you kicked out Ruby Gray don't you remember the promise I made you? I will cure you," Sierra said she was a woman of her word.
Zane's eyes widened in surprise, and he took a step back, his smile faltering. He seemed to be searching his memory, and then his face cleared, and he nodded.
"Ah, yes... Ruby Gray. I remember now. You said you'd cure me if I kicked her out. I didn't think you'd actually follow through on that promise." He looked at Sierra with a mixture of gratitude and wariness, his eyes flicking to her veiled face.
"You're a woman of your word, aren't you?" he said, his voice filled with a hint of curiosity. "I have to admit, I'm impressed. Most people wouldn't bother keeping a promise like that." He paused, his eyes never leaving Sierra's face.
"But I suppose you're not most people, are you?"
"Did the elixirs I gave you to help with your pain help?" Sierra asked getting to business.
Zane nodded, his expression serious.
"Yes, the elixirs helped. They dulled the pain significantly, and I was able to function normally for a while. But the effects were temporary, and the pain always came back. I've been managing, but it's been a struggle." He paused, his eyes locked on Sierra's veiled face.
"But I have to say, I'm more interested in the antidote you're going to give me. You said it would cure me completely, didn't you?" His voice was filled with a mix of hope and skepticism, and he leaned forward slightly, his eyes intense.
"Can you really do that?"
Sierra nodded, her movements economical and precise.
"I can. The antidote I'm going to make is a rare and complex formula, but it should be able to counteract the poison that's been affecting you." She began to measure out ingredients and mix them together, her movements swift and confident.
"But I have to warn you, the antidote will come with some... side effects. You may experience some discomfort, and it may take some time for your body to fully recover." She paused, her eyes flicking up to Zane's face. "But I assure you, it will be worth it. You will be cured." Zane's eyes narrowed, his expression thoughtful.
"I'm willing to take that risk," he said, his voice firm.
"I want to be cured." Sierra nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.
"Very well. Let's get started."
Sierra continued to mix the ingredients together, her hands moving with a precision that was almost soothing to watch. She added a pinch of this, a dash of that, and stirred the mixture with a small spoon. As she worked, the air around her seemed to vibrate with a quiet energy, as if the very molecules themselves were being rearranged by her actions. Zane watched, transfixed, as the mixture began to take on a life of its own, swirling and eddying in a way that seemed almost... alive.
"What is that?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Sierra looked up, her eyes gleaming with a hint of intensity.
"The antidote," she replied, her voice low and husky. "It's a special blend of herbs and potions, designed to counteract the poison that's been affecting you." She held up the vial, and the liquid inside seemed to glow with an otherworldly light.
"This is the key to your cure," she said, her eyes never leaving Zane's face.
"Are you ready to take it?"
