The little Dane knew about it his Casanova System was majorly the reason why he was so worked up that nothing happened back at the restaurant.
Having experienced a domestic issue that prompted him to switch locations for the date, he said to use that opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
Yet, nothing happened there.
He had finished and even dropped Cassie off at Grey Corps while watching her walking back in, and still nothing happened.
Dane sighed in disappointment and ignited his bike to return home.
It was at that moment that what he was waiting for happened.
A familiar chime rang in his head and a wide grin appeared on his face.
Ding~

Dane Morgans blinked several times.
Instinctively, he turned off his bike engine as he stared at the floating windows with disbelief.
"What the actual fuck...?!" he blurted out.
He very much anticipated some splendid features from the system but not something this mega.
Dane looked around him, checking if there were eyes lurking and observing before turning his attention back to the notifications.
He scratched the back of his head in disbelief.
"It actually worked."
He already expected features and that expectation numbed the shock he would have felt slightly.
Dane already knew about some of the features but the cashback feature of the Casanova System shocked him the most.
...10x cashback?!
Even banks didn't do such for their VVIP customers.
He wondered if this was a fluke or some sort of joke as he rubbed his chin.
If it wasn't then he had actually hit gold with this system.
His goals would become much easier to achieve and those he wished to take down would fall even faster than he had planned.
Just as he was still absorbing the thoughts, the system continued to unfurl its notifications.
[You have received a skill ticket!]
[Would you like to withdraw?]
[Yes / No]
Dane chuckled as he shook his head. "Are you kidding me?"
Who wouldn't want to withdraw a ticket that had no risk attached?
If the system was this good, what if the ticket was better?
Dane was not going to miss that for anything.
"Yes," he answered back as the [Yes] option brightened up as if he clicked it.
[You have received the skill — Sweet Tongue]
[Sweet Tongue — increases the chances of the host talking his way out of any situation. Also increases the chance of you convincing anyone to do your bidding]
[Skill Mastery — 6.5/10]
"Hmm," Dane breathed as he considered what he had just read.
'Looks like the system puts into account how I am already. I'm already good with words. It only makes sense that my mastery of the skill is also on the high side if you combine my natural gift with words and the one that comes with Sweet Tongue.
'Not bad at all. But I was expecting something mega as well. Tch! I guess I'll have to wait for that.'
Vroom~
Dane kicked down the kickstand of his sleek bike as he gave his throttle a gentle but purposeful squeeze to prime his engine.
He was preparing to life as he sensed that he had overstayed his welcome within the premises of Grey Corps.
He didn't want eyes to find him here gaping like a crazy man at something that they couldn't see themselves.
Dane swerved around and pressed forward, driving his motorcycle toward the gates of the company.
There were still outstanding things he needed to figure out from the notifications that he received.
Thus, Dane decided to do that at home where he was more relaxed and comfortable to think without fear of any intrusion.

Cassie was seated somewhere at the reception, waiting for her cousin, Layla, to round up so that they could all leave together.
She kept herself busy with her phone as she watched funny videos on My tube to pass time.
Layla seemed to be taking her sweet time while keeping her and the driver waiting, and while this frustrated Cassie, she was not one to complain.
She was one of those people who put in a lot of effort into avoiding conflicts.
She knew this trait of hers was not really a good thing to be applauded but she didn't care.
She rather avoid a problem than address it as she feels it causes more problems.
This had led to Dane even having to call her out at a certain point months back, when he unknowingly tagged her a people pleaser.
That was one of the few times that Cassie saw the dangers of that personality of hers.
She glanced at her watch again and it was almost 7 o'clock at night.
Cassie sighed and turned around to see the driver seated behind her with his head thrown back as he was already sleeping.
With the thoughts of Dane calling her out some time ago and the frustration she felt now, Cassie abandoned the MyTube app and swiped straight to her call log to deal up her cousin's number.
[Layla]
Just as she was about to call, Layla entered the reception, carrying some bags.
She walked towards the two of them without any sign of remorse on her face.
She didn't even feel the need to apologise if even it was out of courtesy.
Hearing Layla's voice, the driver jolted from the seat and hurried to help her with her back.
Cassie, however, was hesitant to stand up.
It was as though she was giving Layla the hint to apologise but Layla didn't seemed to get it.
Layla stood and stared at her briefly. "You don't want to go home anymore?"
She had asked the question in the most nonchalant way like she was doing Cassie a favour and this made Cassie even more annoyed.
Seeing how hopeless the situation had turned, Cassie sighed and got up, heading straight to the car without saying a word to Layla anymore until they got there.
