Deep within the mechanical dungeon, two wills are about to collide. The fate of a girl who, after years of abuse, finally glimpsed happiness for the first time hangs in the balance.
What will become of her future? Will she continue walking the path her father imposed upon her until the end of her days? Or will she be brought into the light by the hands of her newfound friends? All the answers will be decided here.
"Let the fight begin..." says Dubh.
And with that, the battle begins! Dubh leaps toward Geal, his fist crackling with electric energy. Mathias intervenes, snapping his whip to block the blow. Upon impact, he is hurled backward with incredible force, as if struck by an evil version of some superhuman.
Dubh's legs possess remarkable strength. He jumps, lands, and fractures the steel floor with a single blow, forcing the group to retreat.
"What's with this strength? He doesn't use a Crystal! How is he doing this?" Mathias wonders.
"You thought that because my Crystal is white, I wouldn't have any power? You're sorely mistaken," Dubh declares, his arms wrapped in arcing currents of electricity. "This is the power Royal Mechanic will bring to the world!"
To intimidate him, Mathias cracks his whip, making it snap through the air, generating a gust of wind, while Uruta grows to his giant form. Geal stays back, shielding herself with her protector.
"By analyzing Magnius' physical abilities and combat skills, I developed a mechanical implant that gives me the strength of a Chosen One. I call it: the Mechacolumn Model III!"
"This guy is as strong as a Chosen One?" Mathias thinks, stunned.
Mathias distracts Dubh by snapping his whip through the air, but the villain shields himself with an energy field that renders him untouchable. The attacks only chip away at the electromagnetic barrier surrounding him. Meanwhile, Geal rushes to Bredgy's side.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" our heroine asks, concerned.
"Geal... I thought I'd never see you again," says Bredgy. She's not out of danger yet, but she feels relief. The two friends embrace.
"I have to get you out of here while Mathias and Uruta keep your dad distracted!" Geal says urgently.
"No!" Bredgy asserts. "Even if I escape, my father will keep causing harm and coming after me. I can't let his plans succeed. Let's stop him together."
Meanwhile, Dubh and Mathias continue exchanging blows until Bredgy intervenes, unleashing a barrage of attacks from her Halloween Scythe. She has finally decided to put an end to her father's tyranny. But her attacks can't penetrate his defenses; his shield remains unbroken. Even so, the punk girl no longer backs down.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore, Dad!" Bredgy declares, her eyes blazing with determination.
Geal, Mathias, Bredgy, and Uruta align themselves to fight, surrounding Dubh. They begin circling him, covering all his flanks.
"None of us can take you down alone! But together, we'll make you eat dirt!" Geal shouts.
Dubh smirks, shaking his head as if to say, "These kids just don't get it." The battle resumes. Mathias strikes with his whip, but this time Dubh takes him seriously. He grabs the whip with his bare hand and flings the boy into Geal, knocking them both down at once.
"Stupid, naïve brats..." he snarls, shaking his hand. "You think you're invincible just because you're together, but you're still nothing more than weak children."
Seizing the moment, Bredgy charges at her father, but he catches her by the neck mid-air and hurls her aside as well.
The three teens are left sprawled on the ground at Dubh's mercy. He's too strong—practically a superhuman. They try to get up, but none of them can. It's not just the pain from being slammed to the ground; the psychological battle is also working against them.
"Dreamers and so-called heroes like you fall like flies. There will always be a greater force to crush you when necessary," Dubh says, his electric aura intensifying. "Accept it. This world isn't made for fools who fight for their dreams. No matter how hard you try, there are walls you'll never climb."
He paces in circles at the center of the base.
"I am one of those walls."
Determined to finish things, the CEO charges the palm of his hand with electricity, creating something akin to a defibrillator.
"As the kind man I am, I'll give you a quick death. I won't hurt you any further. Even I feel sadness at ending the lives of the young," Dubh threatens.
Resolute in his intent, Dubh scans the scattered group, carefully deciding who to kill first. He knows he's already won. Ultimately, his focus settles on his daughter. He strides toward her.
"Bredgy, no!" Geal cries out, extending her hand, coughing up blood shortly after.
But the punk girl doesn't stand. She backs away as much as she can to keep Dubh from reaching her. Mathias and Geal struggle to get back on their feet to keep fighting, but their bodies refuse to cooperate.
"You're no use to me anymore. I raised you for nineteen years to be an obedient girl, but look at you now! You've become just like them," Dubh accuses.
"L-Leave me alone...!" Bredgy stammers.
"I've seen it with my own eyes—dreams only lead people to ruin!" Dubh declares, ready to deliver the finishing blow.
And in truth, there is something behind his words. We go back thirty years, to a dilapidated hovel on the outskirts of the city. A young Dubh and his mother watch as a man they trusted walks out the door, abandoning them.
Up until now, we've followed the adventures of our heroes. But what about the story of the leader of Royal Mechanic? Now, we'll see things from his perspective.
