Chapter 2 - Épisode 2 : Opportunities

The day progressed, and night began to fall on the city. Across Paris, in a luxurious meeting room, Lyra, a former Hyper Dash champion, was watching a series of videos of potential young athletes. She was now coach of Éclats de Nexus, a semi-professional team looking for new talent for future regional competitions.

She scrutinized the footage of one Dasher in particular that one of her cameras had recorded, a well-built young man. His movements were a little messy, but there was something special about the way he moved. A touch of ingenuity, as if he understood exoskeleton technology beyond human capabilities. Through some research she found her information.

Lyra : "Ren, is that it?"

asked Lyra, consulting the information sheet with a smile on her mouth. She took a deep breath. If her instincts weren't wrong, this young man might just be the team's missing piece. She stood up from her seat, her eyes lighting up.

----

Ren stopped, out of breath, in his garage. His heart was racing, the adrenaline still coursing through his body. He had passed his test.

Ren: "I think I'm going to get addicted to this feeling."

But at that precise moment, his terminal vibrated. it was a message.

"Let me introduce myself, I am Lyra, team coach : "Éclats de Nexus" Ren, we saw your demonstration. And we are interested in giving it a try. Come join us tomorrow at our headquarters if you are interested. "

The words flashed on the screen. It was Lyra, a former champion who had retired due to injury. Ren stood frozen. A mixture of shock and excitement flooded his mind. He had never imagined that a simple test in an alley could lead to such an opportunity, he couldn't believe his eyes...but he who was looking for opportunities finally saw a glimmer of hope.

Ren: "The universe has finally heard my prayers... HAHAHA!"

Ren (looking at his exoskeleton): "a new adventure awaits us my friend... I'm counting on you to support me"

He stood up immediately, without missing a beat. It was his chance. He wasn't going to let her pass.
