With Seth.
The black hair boy with white highlights crawled through the vents. Seth saw that it was guarded by swarms of J'avo. He read a report two month ago in this world about a new type of virus Umbrella created. This virus was bad in not only was it capable of producing mindless mutants, but it could reanimate the dead. As Seth traveled deeper into the building he found a room with a small child floating in a chamber full of liquid. He entered the room and took a look at the child. The boy had many features he shared with Seth such as a same facial structure. His hair is a autumn brown and looked to be between the age of three or four.
"What are you?" Seth looked that a nearby terminal and began reading the data. He was able to find a entry log titled 'Project Star Child'.
'Day 1, we've received a new energy sample from former test subject 121SF/IO. We will begin as Albert Wesker order and begin mixing the sample with test subject 463. Day 27, test subject number 926 has formed. Day 31 Test subject 926 has shown development of consciousness and self awareness. The device should be place on within the next few days to bind it to our will.' Seth now looked through more of the data to try and find out what test subject 926 was made from. Blaze and Flame entered the terminal and searched for the data on test subjects 463 and 121SF/IO. They couldn't find any data on subject 463, but they were shocked at the file of subject 121SF/IO. They brought up the file and Seth eyes open with shock.
"It's me." On the screen the file read as 'TEST SUBJECT 121 SETH FAIRS/ICHIKA ORIMURA.' Seth started to read the file and learned what they did to him. He also found a section that read 'USED IN'. He discovered that he didn't have one clone, but three. However the most shocking part was the title they placed next to test subject 926.
"Biological Child? He's my son?" Seth read the report even more and learned that Wesker received a some sort of sample from Seth during their assault on I.S. Academy. That meant this child was only around 1 month old, but the file read that he is biologically 4 or 5 years old. Seth now debate on what to do. He started copying all the data he could and drained the liquid in the chamber. He smashed open the chamber and grabbed the boy inside. Something inside of Seth began to change. He felt happy and warm when he held the child in his hands. The boy opened his eyes and Seth saw that he had the same orange eyes as him.
"Hey there." The small boy raised his hand out and touched Seth face. The boy smiled. Seth thought of the perfect name for him.
"Akikaze. Do you like that name?" The boy smiled. Seth smiled as well. Just then someone entered the lab. Seth pulled out one of his pistols and shot the man. Seth told Blaze and Flame to hack into the network. They did two things. They first sent a distress signal and shut off the power in the building. At the same moment two people in the building broke free from their captives. Seth found a strange locket with a necklace on it. He decided to take it with him.
Seth with Akikaze in his arms continued to travel through the building. He found some clothing that was far too large for Akikaze, but the shirt covered his whole body. It was better than being naked. Seth heard the sounds of gunfire and headed towards there. He hid behind a wall and peeked over the corner. He saw a man and a woman. Both of them have blond hair. Seth noticed that they were not infected and they were speaking English.
"Sherry we need to move." The man said.
"Wait Jake, I need to find a way to contact headquarters." Sherry said. Jake argued with the girl that they should get the hell out of this place, but she was unwilling to hangs her mind. Suddenly Jake fired at the area Seth was spying from.
"Shit." Seth narrowly avoided several bullets.
"Hey! You might as well show yourself. I know you're there." Jack said out loud.
"Dammit no choice. Stay here." Seth whispered to Akikaze. The boy nodded his head. Seth was surprised that Akikaze could understand him, but he had yet to speak. Seth showed himself, but had his weapons drawn.
"Who are you?" Jake said.
"Seth Fairs, I'm a member of the BSAA and was taken prisoner one month ago."
"Wait, you're the boy that can use an I.S." Sherry asked.
"Yes, that's correct."
"My name is Sherry Birkin, I'm a member of the United States DSO." Seth remembered the name Sherry Birkin well.
"Wait aren't you a survivor of the Raccoon city incident?"
"Yeah." Seth could tell by the tone in her voice that it was a touchy subject. He wouldn't ask any more questions. Jake and Seth both lowered their weapons and agreed to travel as a group. Akikaze revealed himself and surprised the two adults. The small child grabbed Seth's hand and the group walked. They learned that Seth's distress signal was answered and the nearby BSSA units at Okinawa were heading towards Lanshiang. They entered a hall fill with very expensive china when suddenly something bursted through the wall.
"Aw shit, TANK!"
"TAKE COVER!" The tank pointed its barrel at the group, but Seth brought out [Kurikara] and slashed the barrel off. Seth entered his [Nova Mode] and with his massively enhanced strength he flip the tank on its side. The others were surprised at this, but they guessed that this was just his mutated form. Suddenly several gas grenades were thrown. Seth deployed [F.L.A.M.E.] to deal with these guys, but as soon as [F.L.A.M.E.] appeared she disappeared.
"Flame what's wrong."
"Master that gas is preventing me was being deployed."
"WHAT?!"
"Seth move out of here quickly!" Blaze yelled. Seth learned that he couldn't use an I.S. for about ten minutes after being exposed to the gas.
Meanwhile at I.S. Academy.
It had been a whole month since anyone hear anything about Seth. Natasha showed signs of depression and they started to worry about her. Classes started about three days ago and the class was missing a person in the front row. The whole school was taking Seth's disappearance hard. The girls and Natasha were eating lunch. It was then when Samus and Natasha both received a video call from General Shepard. He started talking.
"Ladies I'm cutting straight to the chase, we've received some information that I believe you two will want to hear." General Shepard pressed a button and played an audio log.
'If anyone is hearing this my name is Seth Fairs of the BSAA. Four weeks ago I was taken captive and am in need of back up. I am currently in Lanshiang, China. Please send help.'
"Seth!" Samus and Natasha yelled.
"Fairs-kun is alive. No way!" A nearby girl near the news and yelled it. Now many students listen in on Samus and Natasha's call. A large sense of hope began to grow in everyone's chest. Just then Chifuyu enter the lunch room and noticed Shepard. She feared that they found her little brother's body and they calling to report it.
"Natasha and Samus, we've already have sent in BSAA forces into Lanshiang, but were getting reports of possible [S.T.A.R.S.] and [C.O.M.E.T.] units in the area. We need you two to enter the country and aid in the operation. Samus this operation is optional for you. I understand if you do not wish to take part in it." General Shepard said.
"My partner was kidnapped one month ago and now is in distress alone in a foreign country. There's no way I can just sit back and do nothing."
"I like that spirit in you little lady. Now then head out ASAP." Shepard cut the call. They were about to say something when Rin received a video call. A man by the name of Xi Yunsong called Rin. The man began to speak in Chinese.
"Lingyin Huang, your presents is required for an upcoming joint operation with American BSAA units." Rin responded in Chinese.
"I'm going."
"Do not fail China." The man said as he cut the call.
"Rin what was that?" Cecilia asked.
"Looks like I'm coming with you two." Rin said to Samus and Natasha.
"Wait!" Laura said.
"We're coming too." Houki spoke for Cecilia, Charlotte, Kanzashi, and herself.
"No you are not." Chifuyu said.
"What?! Instructor we need to rescue my brid- I mean your little brother!" Laura said.
"And you're alright with causing an international incident? I understand how you girls feel, but a I.S. unit entering a foreign country unauthorized would cause a lot of trouble." Chifuyu stated. She too wanted to head to China to save her little brother, but there was no way the Japanese government or Chinese government would allow her to enter. The same would be true with the others home countries. They had to leave it up to Samus, Natasha, and Rin to save Seth.
"We need to move if we want to save Seth." Natasha said. The three girls got outside and activated their I.S. units. [Varia], [Silver Gospel] and [ShenLong] now flew up in the air.
"Grab on to me." Samus said. The two I.S. units grabbed [Varia] before it started to glow red. Samus used Trans-Am to decrease the time it would take them to reach Lanshiang.
Meanwhile with Chris.
Chris with Piers and his members of Team Alpha were dropped in via a helicopter. They roped down and opened a door that led to the streets. When they opened the door they were met by several news reports. Chris pushed some of the cameras away as they were blocking their way.
"Captain Redfield this is command. Your mission objective is to rescue the trapped UN members at point Ace of Spades."
"Roger. Alpha team move out!" Chris charged ahead of the group and the members of his squad followed him.
"Captain! I see several J'avo." Piers said as he used his sniper rifle scope.
"Engaged the hostiles!" Chris ordered as he saw several J'avo.
Back to Seth.
The group somehow escaped from the research facility and now were on a pair of motorcycles the group found. Jake and Sherry rode together while Seth and Akikaze rode on another. Akikaze sat in front of Seth as he drove.
"Hey! Where are we heading?!" Seth yelled.
"My supervisor has prepared a extraction for us! We just need to get to the LZ!" Sherry shouted to Seth on the other bike.
"Hey, do you hear that?!" Jake said. The group began to what sounded like hear rotor blades and engines roaring.
"Oh hell!" Behind the group was a large cluster of motorcycles and two helicopters driven by infected J'avo. Seth and Sherry started to shoot the incoming bikes. Seth aimed for the tires. He looked back at the road in front and saw a fuel truck blocking their path, but there was a ramp the that two motorcycles could use to jump. Seth and Jake drove their bikes over the ramp. Several of the J'avo tried to jump the tanker too, but one of the J'avo crashed into the tanker and caused it to explode. The group thought that they were in the clear, but then the two helicopters appeared. It began to shoot at the two motorcycles. Blaze told Seth that ten minutes were up and he could use a I.S. again. Seth partially deployed [B.L.A.Z.E.] and fired two beams at the helicopters. They pierced the two helicopters which caused them to explode. The group encountered a massive wall that blocked their way and were forced to get off of their bikes. The group made their way towards over the wall, where they encountered several J'avo. Seth mowed them down using his miniguns and the group continued to move.
Suddenly the group was surrounded by a swarm of J'avo. As they fought off the attackers, addition gunfire Seth looked up at the source of the gunfire and saw members of the BSAA. He also saw Chris and Piers.
"Chris! Piers!"
"Huh? Seth?!" Chris was shock to see Seth here.
"Seth? What are you doing here?" Seth eyes suddenly widen with shock.
"LOOK OUT!" Seth activated [B.L.A.Z.E.] and rushed towards the members of the BSAA. Chris and his squad soon learned why Seth was panicked. A [S.T.A.R.S.] unit was flying towards them with the intent to kill. Seth intercepted the [S.T.A.R.S.] units and clashed his energy blade with its. However before Seth could stoke at the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit, green gas was released from it. [B.L.A.Z.E.] deactivated. As Seth fell to the ground the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit slashed off one of Seth's arm.
"FUCK!" Seth yelled. He might be able to regenerate limbs, but it still hurts like hell.
The [S.T.A.R.S.] charged at Seth to finish the job as he fell to the ground, but a barrage of gunfire distracted the unmanned unit. Chris and his team open fire on the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit. The bullets had no effect on the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit. It started to form a blue sphere in one of its hand. However a blue pattern appeared on the ground below the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit and it couldn't move. Suddenly the members of BSAA saw something appear behind the [S.T.A.R.S.] unit and slashed it clean in half. They saw Seth with four strange structures sticking out of his back. His arm had regenerated and his eyes changed.
"Seth? Is that you?" Chris asked as this was the first time he had seen Seth in this form. He had so many questions for Seth. Like what happened to him or how he was able to defeat an I.S. with just a sword.
"Yeah. Umbrella did something to me in the last month." Seth lied about his [Nova Mode] and this story seemed possible. Seth explained that [Kurikara] had an ability akin to his energy blade to nullifying the I.S. barrier.
"Captain we need to get him back to command. They might be able to help him." Piers said.
"No, it's too late. My DNA is permanently changed."
"Seth can you control this form?"
"Yes."
"Seth I'm ordering you to stay with these two and protect them."
"But-"
"Seth that man over there is the cure to this new outbreak." Chris pointed to Jake. "Make sure that he stays alive and promise me you won't use this form is possible. You said you have control, but I don't want to be the one to tell Natasha her brother transformed into a mindless beast."
"I understand Captain Redfield. Also don't die."
"Right back at you Seth." Seth jumped back down to the group of three and started to wonder something. Who deployed the freezing field? He didn't use a Freezing Field.
The group encountered a strange creature that was dropped from a passing train. The Ubistvo has a strange appendage on left arm that make it seem like its equipped with a biological chainsaw. Seth activated [F.L.A.M.E.] and quickly raised a barrier. A beam hit the barrier, but it was unshaken. Seth looked up to the source of the beam and saw a [C.O.M.E.T.] unit. It was charging up another beam on its railguns. Seth fired two rounds from his railguns and destroyed the [C.O.M.E.T.]'s railguns.
"Sorry, can you handle this guy on your own?" Seth asked Jake and Sherry.
"No problem. Go!" Jake said as he brought out a shotgun. Seth flew up and began his fight against the unmanned I.S. units. The damaged [C.O.M.E.T.] raised up its arms and fired several rounds from its grenade launcher. Seth saw that they were special smoke rounds that released that green gas. He avoided the rounds and fired two beams destroying the [C.O.M.E.T.]. Seth detected that four [S.T.A.R.S.] and three [C.O.M.E.T.] units were attacking four American I.S. units and three Chinese I.S. units. He saw that one of the American units deactivated. He switched from [F.L.A.M.E.] to [B.L.A.Z.E.] and charged towards the unmanned machines.
"What the hell is this gas?!" One of the American women asked as she couldn't activated her I.S.
"Alice, find out what's wrong with pats machine." Cynthia, an American in a [Jaeger] I.S. said.
"Look out!" A Chinese woman in a [Wo Hu] unit, which was what [ShenLong] was based off, screamed at the American in the [Jaeger]. The woman in the [Jaeger] turned her head and saw a [S.T.A.R.S.]'s energy blade moments away from stabbing her. However a power white energy beam engulfed the unmanned unit and saved the woman's life. Several more beams were fired at the unmanned units destroying them.
"Huh? Seth Fairs?" The woman in the [Jaeger] said as she saw [B.L.A.Z.E.] approaching.
"Hey, are you ladies alright?" Seth asked as he approached the women.
"Yeah we're fine, but Alice can't use her I.S." Cynthia said as she pointed to Alice.
"Was she exposed to a green gas?" Seth asked.
"Yes, but it wasn't a virus, was it?"
"No it's not a virus, but that gas has a special ability to suppress a I.S. It forcibly deactivates the machine. Don't worry, she should be able to use it in ten minutes." Seth said to the woman.
"Shit! Look out!" A woman in one of the [Wo Hu] said. Seth turned around and saw another [S.T.A.R.S.] unit with an energy blade out. However it was hit by several black and white rounds that Seth knew.
"Oh shit, she's gonna be pissed at me." Seth said as he was [Varia] approaching.
"SETH!" Samus yelled.
"Hey princess." Seth said sheepishly. He also saw the [Silver Gospel] and [ShenLong] approaching. Seth saw that [Varia] was coming in fast. He closed his eyes and waited for the pain, but soon felt a warm embrace. Samus was hugging the boy and it felt good.
"Do you have any idea how much everyone worried about you?!" Samus said as she enjoyed his warmth.
"Sorry." Seth said as he returned the hug. Seth and Samus let go. He turned his head and saw Natasha and Rin.
"Hey." Seth said to them.
"Seth I'm so glad you're safe." Natasha said.
"Ichika or Seth, we still need to talk, but I'm happy that you're safe too." Rin said. It may have been only one month for these girls, but for Seth it has been almost two years. He was going to get emotional, but he remembered about Akikaze. Suddenly a jumbo jet plane started to fall from the sky.
"Dammit!" Seth wanted to enjoy the moment a little longer. He rushed towards the plane and saw two people falling. He rushed to the man and grabbed him while Samus grabbed the falling woman. The two brought them to a nearby docking yard where they were joined by Rin and Natasha.
"Thanks for the save." The man said. Seth finally got a good look at the man.
"Are you Leon S. Kennedy? Survivor of the Raccoon city incident and Personal bodyguard to the President?"
"Huh? Seth Fairs? Only male currently able to use an I.S.?" Leon said to Seth. Samus introduced herself to the woman who she saved and discovered that her name is Helena Harper and she's a member of the U.S.S.S (United states Secrets Service).
"Seth!"
"Leon!" The two girls said to their partners.
"Samus is the person you caught alright?"
"Yeah she's fine." Samus flew next to Seth with Helena.
"Leon!" A new voice yelled. The group turned to the source of the voice and Seth saw Jake with Sherry and Akikaze. Leon and Sherry had an emotional reunion. She was saved by Leon when she was a small girl during the Raccoon city incident and never got a chance to thank him. While the group was enjoying the moment, several gas grenade hit the group. It released green gas.
"GAS! GET TO COVER!" Seth yelled. He rushed to cover Akikaze's mouth in case the gas was toxic. However [B.L.A.Z.E.] deactivated as did [Silver Gospel], [Varia], and [ShenLong].
"What the heck?"
"My I.S.-?"
"Oh shit, he's back." Jake said.
"Who?" Suddenly the group saw a disgusting creature that Blaze identified from the data they collected as the Ustanak. The Ustanak jumped down and approached the group. It was a large B.O.W. that had a large mechanical arm.
"Move!" Leon yelled as the Ustanak charged at the group. Seth grabbed Akikaze and moved. Rin, Samus, and Natasha moved out of the Ustanak path. Jake and Sherry narrowly avoided the Ustanak's strike.
"It's a tyrant type?" Leon and Helena brought out their pistols and unloaded several magazines into the creature. However, the Ustanak seemed unfazed by the attack. It was about to attack the group when Jake fired several shotgun shells at it. The beast took several steps back allowing Jake and Sherry to create some distance between them and the Ustanak.
After Seth found a safe hiding spot for Akikaze, he joined the fight. He brought out his pistols and fired at the Ustanak. The Ustanak was starting to get annoyed by all the constant gunfire. It jumped up on one of the shipment creates and pulled up what appeared to be a new attachment for its arm. The current mechanical arm dropped off of the Ustanak and equipped the new attachment. It revealed that the new attachment was in fact a gun. It pointed the cannon at the group. They avoided the shot by finding cover behind several creates. Natasha cursed as she didn't have a weapon to fight with.
"Hey catch!" Helena said to Natasha as she tossed her a SMG. She caught the gun and began to fire at the Ustanak. Seth saw the Ustanak re-equip its claw arm and it picked up a large metal barrel. It threw the barrel at the group. The Ustanak threw the barrel towards Rin. She wouldn't react fast enough. Seth entered his [Nova Mode] and four Nova wings grew on his back. He used Accel and grabbed Rin before the barrel could hit her. Rin was shocked by Seth's new appearance like the others when they got a look at him, but they had to focus on the Ustanak. Seth decided to end this now. He used triple Accel and delivered an insanely powerful punch to the Ustanak. It flew back into a radio tower and debris fell on top of the Ustanak trapping it.
"Well that take cares of that." Seth quickly got Akikaze out of his hiding spot and rejoined the group, however, the radio tower Seth hit began to fall. The radio tower had flames on it and the area was covered by fuel. They didn't have time to think. They had to move quickly. The group was now split into two. The first group includes Sherry, Jake, Samus, and Natasha while the second group includes Leon, Helena, Seth, Akikaze, and Rin. The groups had to make their way back to one another.
A little later with Chris.
Things have gone very bad for Chris Redfield. The a large snake B.O.W. was successful in killing nearly all of his team. Only Piers and and Marco Rose survived the assault by the Iluzija, a massive snake B.O.W. with camouflage capabilities. The loss of Chris didn't end there. A mysterious individual appeared and shot Marco with a dart filled with the C-Virus transforming him into a B.O.W., forcing Chris and Piers with no choice, but to kill him. Now nearly a whole team dead, Chris was filled rage and he would kill whoever caused all this.
As the duo continued they were attacked by a helicopter, but luckily one of the American I.S. units was nearby and destroyed it. During this time the duo saw the mysterious individual that shot Marco. They charged into a warehouse. Unknown to them Seth's group had also charged into the warehouse after they saw the mysterious clad figure. Rin stayed outside to protect Akikaze incase something should happen to him. The two groups made their way into the building, however Seth's group had a massive advantage over Chris and Piers. Seth could use [F.L.A.M.E.] and impact punch the walls that were blocking their path. The two groups charged throughout the warehouse and eventually encountered the mysterious woman. Seth remembered her face from when he was captured by Umbrella in Iraq. She was the one who released Seth, but something was off. This woman was younger looking. Chris and Leon traded blows until they could finally see one another. Seth held Piers down in a pin. When they could see each other they relaxed, but the woman who was now identified as Ada Wong, threw a flash grenade and blinded the group. When they regained their sight she was gone.
"Goddammit!" Chris yelled. He grabbed Leon by the collar of his shirt and held him up to a wall.
"Why?! Why the fuck did you stop me?! That bitch killed all of my men!" Leon struggled for a few moments before he was able to break free.
"You're not the only one who lost people. Because of the national security advisor Derek Simmons. I lost 70,000 people, including the president." Seth and Piers had to hold back Chris.
"Let go of me!"
"Captain! Get a hold of yourself!" Piers yelled as he and Seth were holding the rage induced Chris. Seth knew he had to knock some sense into Chris. He cocked his arm back and gave the man he saw as his mentor a good punch to the face.
"Chris! Were you not the one who taught me that no matter what happens you must complete the mission?! Were you not the one who taught me that you must never fight for vengeance?! Well?!" Seth said as he held Chris up. Chris was knock out of his rage.
"Thanks, I needed that. Leon you go after Derek. Seth I need your help in finding Ada." Chris knew that he would capture Ada not out revenge, but for justice.
"You got it. Wait. Where is the closest Evac station. I need to get someone out of here." Chris told Seth the location of one of the civilian evacuation station. Seth met with Rin and took Akikaze with him. He told the boy that he would be safer here. Seth left and the helicopter flew off, taking the boy to safety. Seth met up with Chris, Piers and Rin. The four of them would hunt down Ada. Piers and Chris spotted Ada in a car speeding away. Seth and Rin charged after the car, but several [S.T.A.R.S.] and [C.O.M.E.T.] units got in their way. Seth fired several energy beams and Rin unleashed a barrage from her [Ryuhou].
Meanwhile with Natasha.
The group had encountered the Ubistvo, but thankfully Samus and Natasha could use their I.S. again. They easily killed the Ubistvo, but had attracted the attention of a group of unmanned units. They split from Sherry and Jake to not put them in danger of being attacked. The duo on the ground continued head towards the rendezvous point. They soon met up with Derek C. Simmons, but something seemed off. His security force was far too small. Suddenly a door burst open. Leon and Helena entered the room and pointed their weapons at Derek.
"Leon? Stop! That's the director!" Sherry pleaded with Leon to put his weapon down.
"Sherry he's the man behind all of this."
"Sherry arrests these two. They're responsible for the death of the president." Derek said.
"What?"
"Sherry don't listen to him."
"Sherry Birkin I gave you an order, now follow it!"
"Sherry you trust me, don't you?" Leon's words struck a chord with the young agent.
"Is what Leon telling me true?" Derek had enough of this.
"Open fire." Derek said. His private security troops open fire on the group of four. They quickly took cover.
"GET MOVING!" Leon yelled as he fired back. Helena joined him.
"Wait-!" Sherry was going to help Leon but Jake grabbed her.
"We need to move." Jake said as he grabbed the girl and left the room. The duo continued to run until they were grabbed by a group of J'avo and knocked out.
Derek ran away from Leon and Helena as his men were killed. As he ran a J'avo snuck up on him and injected him with a special strand of the C-Virus. Derek continued to run from the duo chasing him. He made his way to a passing train, but Leon and Helena were hot on his trail. Derek made his way to the top of the train and received a phone call. Leon and Helena arrived just as Simmons crushed his phone in anger. At that same time Samus and Natasha arrived to give support.
"Give it up Simmons." Leon said as he and the others pointed their weapons at the former director of national security.
"You fools are wasting your time chasing me while that traitor Ada Wong is still running around."
"Another team was sent after her, but you, you're all ours."
"Are you here to avenge the president? Is that it? You fool. Had he disclosed the events of Raccoon city the U.S. would have lost all authority and the global political order would have collapsed!"
"So to avoid one possible disaster, you create another? No matter how many people die!" Helena said as she voiced her anger for Derek as he mutated her sister and left her no choice but to kill her.
"He had to be stopped! He was leading my country, and this world, into complete chaos!" Derek started to mutate.
"That woman...How dare she do this to me! AAAAHHHH!" Smoke started to come from Derek's body and he burst into flames. Suddenly his body turned into something similar to a Chinese lion. Samus and Natasha open fire on the mutated Simmons and he fell off the train, however he regenerated and chased after the train. Samus fired several annihilator rounds from her armcannon. They locked on and hit, but Derek instantly regenerated and continued for the train.
Back with Seth.
Ada had evade Chris and Piers and drove her car into a freighter that was in a nearby dock. They followed her inside and chased her down. As they fought through the ship, Seth and Rin eliminated the group of [S.T.A.R.S.] and [C.O.M.E.T.] that's attacked them. They rushed towards the ship where Chris and Piers entered. As they arrived they saw Chris and Piers on the deck of the ship and saw the woman called Ada get shot. As the helicopter left, a rocket shot it down. Seth saw that Chris had some important information for him.
"Seth, there's a missile on one of the nearby ships. It's filled with a Virus. You need to destroy it before it can launch." Chris said. He and Piers went back into the ship to hijack a jet they saw. Seth and Rin spilt to search for the missile. It was clear which ship had the missile when four [S.T.A.R.S.] units launched from the ship. Seth fired a barrage of GN missile as [B.L.A.Z.E.] and [F.L.A.M.E.] no longer made noise particles. These were stronger and faster than his noise missiles and could be materialized much faster. The missiles caused the A.I.s of the unmanned units to bug out and allowed Seth an open window to destroy them. He saw the missile and was about to fire an energy beam, but that could risk the virus leaking from the missile. He would have to manually disarm the missile.
Meanwhile with Samus.
Samus couldn't believe how tough Derek was. She had used nearly every beam in her arsenal and still he got up. Natasha had tried to engage Derek in close quarters combat with her energy blades, but his regeneration rate was incredibly fast. She and Samus thought of an idea. When Derek was on the roof of the train Samus switched to her dark beam and fired several charged shots. The dark matter increased Derek's weight to unbearable levels. Natasha used [Ignition Boost] and slammed into Derek. The [Silver Gospel] was fast enough to force the mutated Derek off the train. The train was over a bridge and Derek fell into the water. His increase mass caused him to sink to the bottom of the water. He would die from lack of air.
"Is it over?" Helena asked Leon as they got off the train. They were soon joined by Samus and Natasha.
"Yeah, it's over." Leon said as he could finally relax. However a warning appeared on Samus and Natasha I.S. units. They turned their heads and saw a missile approaching the city.
"Oh no." The missile entered the heart of the city and exploded in the air. The C-Virus was unleashed on the city. [Varia] and [Silver Gospel] in response to the virus being detected, activated their helmets. The I.S. users quickly flew up to see the damage the virus caused. They witness hell on earth. thousands of Zombies were attacking anyone that survived the gas attack.
Seth and Rin couldn't believe they failed to stop the missile. He couldn't disarm the missile before it could launch and when he decided to blast the missile with a energy beam a [S.T.A.R.S.] unit block the attack allowing the missile to hit the city. They rushed to the city to see the damage and it wasn't pretty.
"PLEASE, HELP ME!" A man yelled in Chinese moments before he was ripped apart by a horde of zombies.
"NO! STAY AWAY!" A woman yelled as she ran from a group of zombies. A zombie grabbed her legs and caused her to trip. The zombie bit her leg and she screamed in pain. Her screams attracted more zombies. They ripped off her clothes and began to tear out her internal organs. Rin couldn't believe what she was seeing. She was so sicken by the carnage that she couldn't hold her stomach.
"Rin!" Seth saw Rin emptying her stomach. He rushed to her side.
"This can't be happening." Rin finished puking. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned and saw Seth looking really worried.
"Rin please stay here."
"What!? But I-"
"Rin, I don't want you to see what I'm going to do. You're too pure." Seth brought out his miniguns and charged towards that hoard of zombies. He spun up the six barrel guns and thy ripped through the zombies. Seth saw a group of survivors, but they were going to be surrounded by the gas that turned the people of Lanshiang into zombies. However Seth created a small black hole that started to suck up the gas, allowing the civilians a chance to escape. Suddenly the sound of screeching metal was heard. Seth turned his head to the source of the sound and saw the top section of a skyscraper falling. He quickly flew above the falling structure and used stasis on it. The structure began to fall much slower now. Seth used his grapple beams and moved the structure to a section of a highway that was covered in abandon cars. Samus and Natasha were also aiding in help any surviving civilians escape and killing the infected if they saw them. Leon and Helena continued to travel to a location given to them after witnesses spotted strange activity coming from the quad tower. Chris and Piers were heading towards an offshore oil rig after receiving information from Leon about Sherry and Jake's disappearance.
An Hour Later.
Seth, Samus, Natasha and other I.S. users had saved hundreds of lives. The American [Jaeger] units had destroyed the remaining [S.T.A.R.S.] and [C.O.M.E.T.] units allow them to also aid in the rescue of civilians. Rin had decided that she too would help in rescuing civilians.
"What the hell is that?" A woman in a [Thunderstrike] said. Everyone turned their heads towards the Quad towers which were the largest in the city. There they saw what appeared to be a giant fly. They quickly labeled it as a B.O.W. and headed to destroy it. As they approached the massive B.O.W. they saw two people fighting it. Leon and Helena had encountered the real Ada Wong and were trying to get her to act as witness for the Tall Oaks incident. However Derek appeared and entered a second mutation. He appeared as a creature that resembled T-Rex. They were able to defeat Derek and chased after Ada. However Derek wouldn't go down without a fight. He recover and chased after the real Ada Wong. Once he reached the roof the mutation took over his will. He mutated into the massive fly like creature he is now.
The I.S. users wasted no time in attacking the creature. They unleashed a massive volley of attacks at the large B.O.W. However, there attacks had little to no effect on the beast. It was simply regenerating far too fast.
"Dammit! Nothing's working." Suddenly Leon stabbed the creature with a metal rod and, thanks to a thunderstorm above them, a thunderbolt fried the massive fly, but it was still alive and starting to regenerate.
"That's it!" Seth brought out the Sword of Zerker. The massive blade made of lightning appeared in his hands. The air was charged with electricity.
"Get back!" Seth said to warn the girls. [B.L.A.Z.E.] began to glow red. He entered Trans-Am and charged at the the massive B.O.W. Seth struck three times with the blade. That alone caused a lot of damaged, but suddenly three thunderbolts hit the oversize fly. Derek transformation couldn't be kept and he started to fall. As he fell his body was impaled on a statue, killing him. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but that quickly changed when Seth received an emergency transmission from Chris.
"Seth! I need help! Piers is hurt really bad, he injected himself with a strain of this virus! He won't last long, hurry!" The transmission ended their. Seth activated [B.L.A.Z.E.]'s fold out armor and exploded towards Chris and Piers at [B.L.A.Z.E.] fastest speed, around Mach 12.
"Seth, wait!" Natasha yelled as she followed, but the [Silver Gospel] maxed out as Mach 3.
Meanwhile With Chris.
Things for the captain of Alpha squad have been terrible today. He lost all but one of his men. They came to the oil rig to find Sherry and Jake and they did after entering a secret underwater lab, but they encounter a massive B.O.W. with the power to infect an environment incredibly fast. Chris and Piers stayed behind to fight Haos, while Sherry and Jake escaped. Theoretically Haos could infect the whole world if it got the chance. They had to kill it here. As they fought Haos it picked up Piers by his right arm, crushed his arm and threw him at a container. As he fell to the ground Piers' right arm was impaled by a sharp spear. Chris rushed to his side, but Haos threw a large metallic object at Chris, but it missed and crushed Piers' already injured arm. Haos grabbed Chris and threaten to crush him to death. Piers fought through the pain and ripped off his own arm. He dragged himself towards a vial that had the C-Virus in it. He took the vial and injected himself. His missing limb regrew and took a new form. He could fire large bolts of electricity from his arm, but his mind couldn't fight the virus control for very long. Together the two of them subdued Haos and were now focusing on a way out.
"Come on Piers, you're going to be alright." Chris said as he and the mutated Piers continued to the escape pods.
"I'm sorry...Captain...I did it for the BSAA...For the future!"
"Here we go, Piers, we're getting out of here." Chris finally saw the escape pods. He extended his hand and open one of the pods, but suddenly Piers took his hand back and pushed Chris in the pod. It started to close. Chris rushed to exit the pod before it closed, but he was too slow.
"Piers! No, don't do this! Open the door! Goddammit listen to me! We can still both get outta here! There's still time! What are you doing? No, Piers, don't! You can still make it out! Goddammit, Piers!" Chris banged on the glass of the pod trying to break it, but to no avail. Piers pushed the lever for the pod to launch.
"NO!" Chris roared as his pod began to move.
"Piers! Open the goddamn door, that's an order!" Chris saw that Piers was going to stay here.
"No..." Finally Piers gave Chris one last smile.
"PIERS!" Chris yelled as the pod launched.
Seth had just arrived at the scene. He dived into the water and traveled as fast as he could. He saw a pod coming up. Thanks to Trans-Am he could hear Chris's thoughts, but not Piers'.
"Chris where's Piers?" Seth asked mentally.
"Seth, he's still down there." Chris didn't know how Seth was talking to him right now, but he didn't care. He just wanted someone to save Piers. Seth continued to the underwater lab and something attacked him. Haos was still alive and kicking. It started to crush Seth and he was in big trouble. [B.L.A.Z.E.] was significantly weaker under water and couldn't break free. However from the corner of his eyes he saw something blue flashing. A massive thunderbolt hit Haos killing it and freeing Seth. Seth now got within range to hear Piers thoughts.
"Piers, hold on, I'm coming!" Seth raced towards the underwater lab, but it was so damn deep.
"Seth, I'm glad I could train someone like you, I know you'll do great things. Good bye, it was a real blast with you." Seth hear Piers thoughts and then the underwater lab began to explode.
"PIERS!" Seth yelled. Above the surface Chris had arrived and so did the trio from I.S. Academy. Seth was within distance so his thoughts and his emotions could be projected towards the others. He came out of the water and flew near Chris. He removed his helmet and tears were streaming down Seth's face.
"I'm sorry, Chris, I couldn't save him."
"Wait Chris where's Piers." Natasha remembered the transmission Seth received and it said that Piers was with him. She suddenly put two and two together.
"Piers is-" Both Chris and Seth held their heads down. Natasha joined her little brother in crying as Piers was a good friend of hers as they were around the same age. Seth couldn't believe himself. Even after acquiring so much power, he still couldn't save those close to him.
