With Seth
"You stupid little. Do you have any idea how long you've made me worry, Ichika." Chifuyu said as she embraced Seth in a hug. Seth eyes opened wide with shock.
"Oh shit." Seth said mentally. He had a lot of explaining to due. Suddenly Seth felt that Chifuyu was hugging him over his broken ribs. He let out a grunt of pain.
"Huh?" Natasha saw the small look of pain on Seth's face. She knew that Seth never would show pain, unless it was very painful.
"Chifuyu let go of him!" Natasha said to Chifuyu. The former world champion now saw the small look of discomfort on Seth's face and let go.
"Ichika?"
"Sorry, I have a few broken ribs." Seth now partially deployed [B.L.A.Z.E.] and the hand started to glow white. The ribs began to move into back into place. Now Chifuyu asked
"Well, looks like I have some explaining to do." Seth said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Are you Ichika Orimura?" Chifuyu asked.
"Yes, I was."
"Why didn't you tell anyone of your true identity?" Chifuyu asked.
"I had amnesia at the time. I couldn't remember anything." Seth said.
"When did you regain your memories?"
"After the [Silver Gospel] stabbed me in the chest. I was able to remember everything."
"Then why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I didn't want to taken out of the BSAA. Chifuyu-nee, why didn't you tell me about Madoka?" Seth decided if he was giving out answers why shouldn't he ask some as well.
"I don't know who you're talking about." Chifuyu said.
"Chifuyu-nee, if I'm telling the truth don't I deserve the same?" Seth said.
"Ichika..." Now the two stared at each other awkwardly and the silence wasn't helping.
"Chifuyu-nee lets talk later about what happened to me. I need to take a bath." Seth said as he left. Chifuyu didn't know why it was so damn hard to talk to her little brother, but she was glad that he was back. She didn't like that he knew about Madoka and wonder if they had already met. Chifuyu knew that she had to have a serious talk with Natasha.
Seth was walking down the halls as he was heading back to his room. He was going to take a long shower then go to sleep. He's seen things no man should, and he was dead tired. Seth was walking when he was confronted by Houki and Rin. They didn't look happy.
"Hey." Seth said.
"Ichika, care to explain why you called yourself Seth?" Houki said first.
"Houki, Rin, when we met again, I had amnesia. I truly couldn't remember either you two or Chifuyu-nee. I was only able to regain my memories after the [Silver Gospel]." Seth said.
"Then why didn't you say something?" Rin said.
"I was afraid of what you would do if you knew." Seth said.
"Ichika, you didn't trust us that we would keep a secret?" Rin said.
"I'm sorry. I have no excuses for my actions. I'm the worst kind of man. I made promises with both of you and I forgot both. I understand if you're angry with me, but please can we talk about this stuff tomorrow. I've need some rest." Seth said as he bowed. Both girls were still mad at Seth for his lack of trust in them and lying about being Ichika, but they saw how tired he looked. They decided to let him rest for now, but when he recovered, oh it would be one hell of a talk.
As Seth was about to reach his room, which was one of the few undamaged rooms, he saw Natasha.
"Seth, or rather should I call you Ichika." Natasha said with a sad smile.
"Sis..."
"It's fine Ichika, you don't have to worry about me. I've been ready for this day. If you ever got your memories back and found your family, then I would hand you back. That's what I told myself that day I took you in. I'm sure Chifuyu will be happy to have you back." Natasha tried to fight her tears, but they started to drip down her face. Seth saw the tears fall from her eyes as she tried to keep her smile. His heart was breaking, He couldn't bear to see her, the woman who was his older sister for the last five years, crying. A powerful urge overcame Seth. Suddenly Natasha felt a warm feeling envelope her and something was touching her cheek. She opened her eyes and saw Seth kissing her cheek.
"You know, I love you very much, regardless of what may happen. I love you." Seth said as his eyes stared into Natasha's. She her face started to change to a deep red.
"I-I-I, need to go!" Natasha said as she ran slightly embarrassed that she started to see her little brother differently. Seth walked back to his room.
"Master you need to get some rest. When you wake up, I'll tell you about the Marker, but for now go shower and take a rest." Flame said. Seth did just that. He entered the bathroom and was grateful that the water was still working. He removed the Elite Advance suit, but he couldn't remove his [RIG], and saw his reflection in the mirror. He knew his appearance changed, but he didn't know there was a large tattoo of a white Marker on his chest.
"What the fuck?!" Seth said as he touched the tattoo. He tried rubbing it off with water, but it was real.
"Oh shit, how the hell will I explain this?" Seth thought. He shrugged it off and entered the shower. He got out and put on some Pajamas and took one of the beds. He knew that the Samus and Tatenashi might come back and want their beds, but dammit he needed a bed tonight. Seth almost instantly fell asleep the moment he hit the bed.
A few Hours later.
Samus and Tatenashi entered the room in silence. They guessed that Seth was asleep. As they silently entered the room, they were about to look at Seth as he slept to see if he was having another nightmare, but the moment they were within one feet of the bed, Seth got up and pointed a plasma cutter at them.
"Oh sorry." Seth said as he put the plasma cutter down.
"Seth are you alright?" Samus asked.
"I'm fine, just a little on edge."
"Would you like to talk about what happened to you?" Tatenashi asked. She knew that Seth wasn't okay, but she didn't know what she could do to help.
"I'm okay, I just need some rest." Seth said as he lied down. Samus started to climb into the bed with Seth.
"Oh sorry, I'll move." Seth was about to get up, but Samus grabbed his hand.
"It's okay if you stay." Samus said.
"This looks like fun." Tatenashi said as she crawled into the bed as well. Seth didn't reject their offer. He needed human contact or he might go insane. The events on the sprawl might haunt him for the rest of his life, but he wasn't alone. He felt safe as Samus and Tatenashi grabbed Seth's arms. He fell back asleep. For the first time in a while, Seth fell asleep and didn't have nightmares.
The Next Morning.
Seth woke up rejuvenated. He felt like a new man. He found that his arms were still being held hostage by the two girls. He slowly pulled his arms out, so as not to wake the girls. He took a quick shower and got dressed. He started to make breakfast when the two girls woke up.
"Good morning." Seth said as he continued to make breakfast. While cooking breakfast Blaze and Flame started to talk.
"Seth, you feeling alright?" Blaze asked.
"Better." Seth said as he continued to make breakfast.
"Master while you were asleep we started to integrate some of the data you collected."
"Really, sweet."
"Seth we're now equipped with a kinesis and stasis module." Blaze stated.
"Master we've been equipped with a Shockpoint drive system as well."
"Shockpoint drive?"
"A Shockpoint drive is a device that allows you to travel to distant planetary system faster than the speed of light, via shock portals." Blaze said.
"I thought that you could already do that blaze?"
"I can open portals to other worlds, not in the same dimension, but now we both can use this." Blaze finished.
"Master now on to the topic of the Marker, you've been infused with the Marker. That's why you have a tattoo of a Marker on your chest. I now have unlimited energy as Blaze, but if you use the Marker's energy for an extended period of time, you'll begin to experience dementia again. However I can suppress the Marker's ability to reanimate dead flesh. You can also make more Markers, thanks to the blueprints in your mind, but they could cause another Necromorph outbreak. We'll work on a way of suppressing the Mark's signal, but for now I suggest not making any. " Flame finished. Seth knew that if he could harness the power of the Marker for his Lunar base, then they wouldn't have to be so dependent on the current solar array at powers the station, at the moment. Seth asked why was the mental connection between them cut, and they said that the Marker lets out signals that interfered with his brain waves.
Seth now had access to another power source that had its drawbacks. He knew that the Marker would fuel [Hell's Fury], but he couldn't withstand the rage and bloodlust that [Hell's Fury] created in him as he used it. Flame guessed that Seth could hold out seven minutes tops, but he could become resistant with exposure to the bloodlust. Seth saw that it was about 6:15 A.M. and the girls would wake up in about 15 minutes. Seth decided to cover the breakfast he made, so it wouldn't get cold, and head out. He wanted to test out the Shockpoint Drive. He used Flame's bits and they began to spin on the ground until a blue portal opened up. He jumped in as he equipped [F.L.A.M.E.].
Lunar Base.
Ritsuko was currently enjoying a cup of coffee. Finally after several weeks, the artificial gravity of the moon base perfectly copied Earth's. Some of WILLIE's members loved the light gravity of the moon, while others hated it. Ritsuko was glad that she could finally perform test correctly. Suddenly something large shooked the area around her. Ritsuko quickly drew her pistol and aimed it at whatever was behind her. She lowered her weapon when she saw that it was Seth in [F.L.A.M.E.], but now had some questions that needed answering.
"Eh? Seth, how did you get in the base and what happen to your appearance?" Seth smiled and showed her the new data he collected. Ritsuko was now tasked with using the new I.S. cores Seth found and discovering a way for WUNDER to use the ShockPoint Drive system. He would have stayed and said hi to the three girls, but he had to get back to the school. It was almost time for him to meet up with Chifuyu and face the music.
Chifuyu's Office.
Seth used the Shockpoint drive system to get back to the school and no one noticed that he left. Seth made his way to Chifuyu's office and entered it. Inside he saw both of the woman he considered family and Tabane. Seth and Natasha's eyes met and she blush a little, but only Seth noticed it.
"Have a seat." Chifuyu said. Seth closed the door and took the chair that was in front of him.
"Ichika, I want you to explain what happened to you." Chifuyu said.
"At 9:43 AM yesterday, I left my room in order to get a snack from a vending machine. Once I got my snack, I encountered a red sphere. I touched it out of curiosity and then I believe I was transported to a different dimension." Seth's words now got Tabane's interest.
"A different dimension?"
"I believe so. Though I have no clue on how I was able to travel. I was transported to a placed called the sprawl, which was located on the former moon of Titan." Seth now began to explain his horrific adventure. He also showed video footage and brought out several weapons or rather the futuristic tools. Tabane asked if she could borrow some of the tools. He said yes if she answered a question.
"Tabane, how did you know my real identity?"
"Silly Ikkun, I was searching for you for the last few years. I discovered your location about a year prior to your enrollment."
"Then why didn't you tell Chifuyu-nee?" Seth wondered.
"Because I saw how happy you were in the states, even if they are real idiots." Tabane said with a sincere tone which was odd for the normally hyperactive super genuis. It was no wonder why Tabane hated the United States. They put her on the FBI's most wanted list ever since she invented the Infinite Stratos.
"Alright, now on to legal stuff. Natasha I need you sign a few paper to transfer legal guardianship of Ichika to me." Chifuyu said, but Seth decided to speak his mind.
"Chifuyu-nee, while you are an important family member to me, I have no intention of returning to Japan."
"What?" Chifuyu couldn't believe what her little brother was saying.
"I said I have no desire of returning to Japan." Seth said again.
"Ichika you-"
"My name is Seth, I'm a member of the BSAA. I might have been Ichika Orimura at one point, but five years ago that changed." Seth was serious. He loved his older sister, but he had friends and people he loved that he couldn't leave.
"Ichika are you serious about this?" Chifuyu asked with a stern tone.
"I am." Seth said in an equally stern tone.
"Fine, I see you're as stubborn as me so I'll make a bet. At 2:00 P.M. meet me in arena three for a duel. If you win I will let you stay with Natasha, but if I win you will come home, no questions asked." Chifuyu said.
"I accept." Seth said. He left the room so he could figure out how to defeat his older sister. As he was walking down the someone followed him.
"Seth, wait!" Natasha said as she wanted to have a talk with Seth.
"Seth what are you thinking? You should go with Chifuyu."
"Sis..."
"Seth, you don't have to worry about me. I'm okay with you leaving. It's for the best really. I mean you won't have to fight anymore and old Uncle Sam can't do any testing on you." Seth could easily tell that Natasha was lying to herself. She didn't want Seth to leave, but she knew it would be the best for him. She once again felt something warm wrap around her. However unlike the hugs they've had in the past, this was more intimidate.
"Seth, you can't do this sort of thing, I'll start thinking things I shouldn't." Natasha said.
"My feelings for you are not gonna change. Since you seemed to forgotten, I'll say it again. I love you."
Several Hours Later.
Now in the stands Natasha, Maya, Tatenashi, Samus, Houki, Cecilia, Rin, Kanzashi, Charlotte, Laura, and several other students were waiting for the match between Seth and Chifuyu. Several people were wondering why Chifuyu was fighting Seth. Now the stars of the show appeared. Chifuyu appeared in [Byakushiki] and Seth appeared in [B.L.A.Z.E.]. Many people were surprised by the formerly white hair boy's new appearance. Before the match started Chifuyu began to speak.
"Ichika this is your last warning. Give up or I will show no mercy unlike last time." Chifuyu stated.
"My name is Seth and bring it on!" Seth said as he brought out his energy blades.
"You always like to do things the hard way." Chifuyu said as she brought out [Yukihira]. Now a countdown started.
'5...4...3...2...1...*Buzz*!' The two siblings exploded towards one another.
The two had their blades out and clashed. Seth matched Each of the former world champion's strikes and was parring her attacks perfectly. Chifuyu was impressed that Seth's swordsmen skills have improved drastically in such a short time frame. Last time they fought was just under a month ago and he was so reckless, yet now it was like she's fighting another person. The two of them entered a bind and pushed each other back. Chifuyu forced the bind to break by placing all her energy on one side and pushed the blades apart. She swung vertically at Seth. The black hair boy with white highlights bended backwards and narrowly avoided the attack. As the blade was moving Seth brought out his pistols and unloaded a full clip from each of them. This drained 50 points from [Byakushiki].
Seth moved away from Chifuyu so he could get a little breathing room. In the clash Seth lost 23 point. The scoreboard currently read [B.L.A.Z.E.] with 777 energy points and [Byakushiki] with 750 energy points. He decided to attack with long range weapons, seeing that Chifuyu was only equipped with [Yukihira]. He started by unleashed 35 noise missiles at his older sister. Chifuyu moved out of the missiles' way, but this was what Seth wanted. He brought out [B.L.A.Z.E.]'s miniguns and unloaded a volley of beams at Chifuyu. Seth was surprised that Chifuyu was not only avoiding the missiles, but also the volley from his miniguns. The former world champion now closed the distance between her and her little brother, while avoiding all of Seth's attack.
Seth brought out [Kurikara] and readied himself for Chifuyu's attack. Once they were within range, they attacked. Seth and Chifuyu's blades furiously clashed with one another. Once Seth and Chifuyu entered another bind, Seth decided to use a recently acquired ability. Seth focused as much strength as he could muster in his left hand and in his right hand, he launched a small blue spheres. Chifuyu cursed mentally as she thought she was about to lose a large amount of points, but she didn't expect herself to be slowed down. Seth fired a shot of stasis and it slowed Chifuyu down. He created a blue sphere in his hand and fired, but Chifuyu used [Ignition Boost] to avoid the attack.
Chifuyu now deployed [Yukihira] fold out armor and slashed at Seth. Said boy met the blade with [Kurikara]. Chifuyu moved back and Seth used elemental shift. [B.L.A.Z.E.]'s armor changed to light blue and Seth brought out his energy blades. They were off blue in color. Chifuyu now returned [Yukihira] to its default state. She met Seth in another bind, but this time ice started to form on [Yukihira]. Chifuyu back off to stop [Yukihira] from freezing. She hit her sword on the ground to shatter the ice.
"Trans-Am." [B.L.A.Z.E.] transformed back to normal and now started to glow bright red. His points started to fall quickly, but he was a hundred points ahead of Chifuyu, so he could afford it. Seth started to circle around and closed in to strike. He repeated this process several times, before he had to stop. He was losing too many points, but now the scores were [B.L.A.Z.E.] with 556, and [Byakushiki] with 471. He had the lead, but Chifuyu could easily turn this match around. Chifuyu now closed the distance between them and clashed her sword against Seth's. The boy let his guard down for a moment and Chifuyu took full advantage.
She broke Seth's guard and used [Yukihira] second form. Chifuyu did a direct hit on Seth and his points dropped from 547 to 345. She took the lead in one move. Seth wasn't gonna let this go without taking some revenge. Seth used the close distance to use his grapple beam. He latched onto Chifuyu and use volt grapple. The former world champion saw her points dropping fast. She cut the beam that was connecting her to Seth and her point stopped draining.
The scoreboard read [B.L.A.Z.E.] with 421 and [Byakushiki] with 396. Seth and Chifuyu's skills were evenly match. Seth was doing so well against her that she was starting to wonder if she could win. Seth be Chifuyu fought with all their might and now they were both under 50 points left. Seth had brought out a shield that the [O.S.E.N.] made prior to the battle. With it he was blocking most of Chifuyu strikes. Seth was being pushed to his limits. He knew that he could use the S2 organ to regenerate his lost points or one of his advance transformations to easily win this fight, but he promised himself that he would win with his own skill. Chifuyu now charged with [Yukihira] in hand and slashed at Seth, who took a defensive position with his shield. Chifuyu deployed [Yukihira] second form and stabbed the shield, piercing it. Chifuyu was aiming to drain the remaining points Seth had with this final attack, but Seth moved just enough to avoid the attack. He shot Chifuyu with a shot of stasis and started to smile.
"It's over!" Seth said as he revealed his shield was like Charlotte's. Two panels opened up and revealed a Gatling Gun.
Chifuyu smiled. She now knew that her little brother was strong enough to make his own choices and protect himself. She was a little sad that she no longer had to protect him, but still felt a little proud. Seth unleashed a volley of shots from the Gatling gun, draining the last of Chifuyu's energy points.
A buzzer rang announcing the end of the battle. The crowd in stadium couldn't believe that Seth was able to defeat the former world champion. The students cheered. Seth approached his sister and held out his hand.
"Dammit, I didn't think you would be that strong. A deal's a deal."
"You know I love you a lot Chifuyu-nee." Seth said.
"Baka! What do you think you're saying?!" Chifuyu said with some embarrassment. Seth laughed at his sister's reaction, but suddenly Seth brought his energy blades and blocked an attack. Seth's attacker was currently not visible. Seth literally couldn't see who was attacking his. The boy quickly started to scan through all of the different visors he had. Once he used his Echo visor, he could finally tell who it was. His clone somehow acquired some form of Active Camouflage. Before Seth could begin his counter attack, Ichika grabbed him and quickly slammed him into a wall. Seth created a blue sphere in his right hand and blasted Ichika.
"Chifuyu-nee, get the students out of here, quickly!" Seth ducked out of instinct and the wall behind him now had a large crater. Ichika now undid his active camouflage, but [F.L.A.R.E.] appeared differently. She had a strange device on the chest plate armor, and now had two tentacles sprouting from the back. Seth also noticed that Ichika's eyes were red.
"Did he advance his mutation?" Seth wonder. Blaze restored her energy using the S2 organ. Seth was about to strike, when Ichika slammed into Seth. The boy in the black I.S. was thrown into a nearby wall smashing it and entering one of the locker rooms.
Seth got up and Ichika would have attacked him, but a red I.S. blocked him. Seth saw that Ichika was about to land a lethal blow on Houki. He used [Ignition Boost] and pushed his childhood friend out of the way. Ichika's attack severed Seth's legs clean off. The boy grunted in pain, but kept his cool. Seth created a portal behind Ichika and blasted him with a Nova Particle Beam, but Ichika grabbed onto Seth with his tentacles and dragged him into the Void along with him.
The portal closed before anyone could see what happened. All they found in the locker room were a pair of severed legs.
The Void
In the void between time and space Seth and Ichika were fighting. Seth entered his [Nova Mode] and regenerated his legs. He now overpowered Ichika, but their fighting pushed off of the set path and left them at the mercy of time and space.
Somewhere.
Seth found himself in a strange place that had no gravity, but machines were moving and a speaker was saying something.]
"Preparing [Stargazer] for launch. I repeat, Preparing [Stargazer] for launch." Seth turned around and saw a massive white mecha behind him and it had a word engraved on it.
"Gundam?" Just then the chest of large white Mecha opened up and it was empty. An explosion shook the entire structure Seth was in and he fell into the cockpit.
