His father's approval and coolness toward the monster tribes pushed Taurus to work harder than before.
As a result, his attributes almost doubled due to his diligent work.
During those two years, he used the Book of Knowledge to forge a mana core that would satisfy his ambitions.
It didn't matter whether it was a human, beast, or monster, their base mana would always be 5 multiplied by the spirit attribute.
But that wasn't ideal for him, it was a limitation he could no longer accept like his past life.
Thankfully, the book had a simple method and all he had to do was form more layers on top of the core itself.
With each layer, his base value would increase by one.
The only difficulty was its risk, but since it was worth it, he didn't back off.
A lot happened during those two years, but the worst and most alarming was the organization he planned to deal with, Abyssum, moving earlier than anticipated.
A lot of incidents happened, from kidnapping humans and monsters.
Unlike him, who had direct access to the abyssal force, they needed a lot of sacrifices to gain a fraction of what he had.
One thing was for sure, they didn't seem content with the peace and with the monsters living in the empire alongside them.
In the end, he didn't bother himself with them further since he had a plan in mind to bait them into kidnapping him as well.
And by all means, he knew their hideout location in case they kept their distance from him.
Other than that, Amelia finished her education and was offered an instructor position.
With Edmund's support and encouragement, she took the position and received a fancy residence and a hefty reward.
As for Theo, he was living in the monster empire for the time being.
Something he requested back then, the moment he knew the matter was settled.
Why? None of his family knew the exact reason but they speculated he wanted to get more familiar with their culture.
As for Taurus himself, his parents ensured he understood his situation's severity.
While he could defend himself despite being a child, they feared other matters such as kidnapping and brainwashing.
He understood their fears very well and did as told.
Finally, the day of the awakening arrived and he eventually realized he needed too much mana for his 'transcended core'.
Knowing his father would use spirit stones to aid him, he resorted to Mammoth to execute his plan.
He sat in the hall, acting nervous while waiting for his father to bring them to Mammot.
On the other hand, his parents waited for the rest of Theo and Amelia since both of them were interested.
An hour passed and Amelia arrived, followed by their elder brother a couple of minutes later.
Since he could perfectly fine, Taurus no longer needed to be carried, and with everyone present, Edmund led the way, and the rest followed behind.
"Please begin," Mammot spoke the moment they arrived as Theodore Pendragon nodded his head, granting them their approval.
'Make sure they keep feeding the formation with mana no matter how bad the situation seems.' Both comminuted through the soul link as Theo began drawing the formation on the ground, faster than he did when Amelia awakened back then.
'Sure… Go ahead, just don't kill yourself, and remeber the fact that you are no longer half corrupted.' Taurus nodded his head, determined to succeed.
There was no going back since he intended to do it regardless of the outcome.
"It's your turn, Taru. Just be at ease, and do what we've taught you previously." Edmund spoke before stepping forward with Taurus in his hands.
Once they were close, Taurus entered the formation and sat at the center, taking a lotus position.
Following his actions, Edmund retrieved a mana stone before crushing it as the formation was lit by blue energy.
'Let's begin!' Taurus thought before shutting his eyes off, as the dense dust particles appeared within the darkness a few moments later.
Through his willpower, he began attracting the particles before pulling them down toward his dantian.
Though it seemed slow to him, the matter was different on the outside as the mana was getting devoured as the dark shadow spread below him.
"What's that, Mammot?!" Noticing the strange occurrence, the old man Theodore stood up, his fingers pointing at the shadows twirling on the ground.
'Your spirit is trying to manifest on its own, it looks like it's sucking the mana meant for you,' Mammot nodded his head in silence before asking Taurus what to do.
'Ignore it and ask them to feed the formation more, it will be fine.' Taurus responded while continuing the task he had on hand, leaving the matter for Mammot to handle.
"I believe it's his spirit, feeding the formation with mana and maybe we will see it soon." With the answer right in their hands, Edmund retrieved a couple more stones before crushing them as their dust was pulled into the formation.
The same thing repeated and the spirit devoured the mana as the shadows rose behind Taurus' back.
Soon, the shadows collapsed, seemingly unsatisfied with the mana provided.
"Not enough? No problem, use this!" The old man pushed himself up, and a brightly lit mana stone appeared in his hands before throwing it toward Edumnd.
"Why?! This is too much and unnecessary!" Taking the stone in his hand, Edmund spoke with amazement.
That was a high-quality mana stone, one that's too rare because the requirement to create it was insane.
"Just do it, I've got a couple more of those if needed." With his father's confirmation, Edmund nodded his head helplessly and prepared to do as told.
However, Taurus' spirit disagreed with his decision.
"WHAT?!" He shouted and took a few steps as it burst forward toward his hand, swallowing the stone whole.
It fell on the ground, convulsing and twirling for a few minutes before returning to Taurus' body.
"Are you it's his spirit, not something else?" Edmund turned around, questioning the titan's claim.
"Definitely, otherwise it wouldn't have returned to his body. Either way, continue what you've been doing before." Mammot spoke and Edmund nodded since there were no apparent dangers.
He believed he could confirm the claim by guiding his son to summon his spirit, and if it wasn't the same then Mammot would be proven wrong.
'That's much better, thank you!' With the spirit out of the way, the speed felt normal and the core formation process was coming along nicely.
Within two minutes, Taurus was done forming the base.
Thankfully, the mana density was incredibly high inside the formation and thus began the forming of the first layer.
He began solidifying the mana, turning them into supporting pillars as the Book of Knowledge guided him.
Then he began lying the first layer on top. Meanwhile, his family started feeling tense since the awakening process was taking too long.
