The Western Lands Of The World Above The Wall

1. General Characteristics:

Despite its pleasant and lush climate, the Western Lands, like other territories, are afflicted by Lusmerya.

Lusmerya is derived from two familiar words: "Lu" (meaning "lacking") and "Smerya" (meaning "product" or "fruit"). This term refers to barren and unproductive lands.

Western Lusmerya, formerly known as Kragnor, is located beside the EyeSea. In legends, it is said that after his victory in the final battle—the Battle of KragnorGubriyas, the legendary hero, was torn apart by his own dragon.

2. The Pillow Mountains (Pillows of Dread):

The Pillow Mountains, also known as the Pillows of Dread, are a range of soft, black stone peaks that stretch across Western Lusmerya.

These mountains separate the EyeSea from the Boiling Sea.

Key Features of the Pillows of Dread:

- Soft and sticky texture

- High humidity and extreme cold

- Periodic ash storms

- Snowfall on the mountain peaks, which increases the area's moisture.

1. House of Ayreens:

The wealthiest house in the West, House Ayreens governs the Western Kingdom and resides in the heart of the kingdom, Selandriz.

The Olive Branch is universally recognized as a symbol of peace throughout the Western lands. It is used in the flags and emblems of many houses to signify a commitment to peace and unity.

If a house uses any symbol other than the Olive Branch, it is considered an act of war and a declaration of conflict with other houses.

••• The Land of Thaikhys:

Thaikhys is known as one of the Western lands but is not considered part of Azden I's domain. This land holds significant historical and geographical importance in the West.

Alexander I was never able to incorporate the House of Kiyangs into his realm, but his son, Azden the Libertine, was able to establish a relative peace. His brother, Danzen Ayreen, was sent to the region at the age of six as the Western King's representative, where he maintains a friendly relationship with the Bear King.

4. General Characteristics of the People of the West:

6. The Gubriyas Mountain Range (HynAriyya):

•• Behind Western Lusmerya, the Gubriyas Mountain Range, known for its red and brown earth, is said to be infused with the blood of Gubriyas, the legendary hero, whose essence still smolders within the soil.

In honor of Gubriyas, this mountain range is named the Gubriyas Mountain Range, and the surrounding area is known as HynAriyya (The Land of Red Mountains).

••• The Mendorrs:

The House of Mendorrs resides in HynAriyya and is known for having red-colored skin.

---

7. Geographical Features and Climate:

•• The climate of the Western Lands varies from region to region.

Behind the Gubriyas Mountains, the days are warm and temperate, while the nights are cool and pleasant.

Rivers flow from the Red Gubriyas Mountains, passing through the lands of Selandriz and Myrenz, and eventually empty into a lake called the Red Lake in Bobvew.

The water of this lake is not red but slightly pinkish. It is called the Red Lake because of the rivers that flow into it from the Red Gubriyas Mountains.

---

•• The Blood Lake in Lunamor:

A lake with a deep red color, named after the blood that was once poured into it.

According to legend, Izalia Voss, the last queen of the Pallertens, used to pour the blood of virgin boys and girls into this lake to maintain her youth.

It is said that she would sleep in this lake for seven hours each day to remain youthful.
