Andrew POV
I teleported to the planet utos from where I would be going to the base of resistance forces. Arriving near a desolate mountain using my earth ability I moved a big boulder whose size was around 30 feet. Behind the boulder was a not so spacious cave but arriving inside the cave I moved the earth beneath me and started to descent few kilometers down.
Within few minutes I arrived at a small underground city which was also the main base of Earth dragon's resistance forces.
I was greeted by few guards and started walking toward the teleportation array which will take me directly to the main base of resistance forces. There was no direct way to reach the main base of resistance forces and everyone except Lord Victor has to go through teleportation array situated at different branches.
I entered the teleportation array and entered the designated location and my vision was shrouded by darkness for one instance but on another instance I was greeted with a huge city like structure, which was filled with different type of dragons, all of them busy doing their own work.
"Welcome leader Andrew, Lord Victor is expecting you." An escort guard accompanied me to the office of lord victor and we started walking in that direction.
Arriving at the familiar looking door I opened it and the guard accompanying me stood outside the door.
"Welcome Andrew, I thought you had forgotten this old man after switching to your new employer." Lord victor spoke sarcastically but without any malice in his voice clearly trying to make fun of me.
"Who said I had left this job, I don't know about others but you should know I am still the third leader of resistance forces and as a leader I have come to ask you for your help to accomplish a certain mission." I said not beating around the bush.
"So what is it that even you mighty retainers can't handle and need our help with?" He asked.
He was one of the very few people I can trust and if I want his co-operation in our mission I needed to explain him everything without keeping any secrets. Therefore I explained him everything about the mission we were about to start and what would be their role in all this.
"So the dragons with ability to control time do exist." He thought out loud and from his tone I could deduce that he knew something about them.
"Have you heard about them before?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, Adam the previous guardian used to tell me stories about different and unique powers possessed by ancient dragons and one of them was about certain dragon tribe possessing power to manipulate time but I never believed him." He paused recalling those past memories.
"I was the captain of the Dragon squad which was under the command of guardian Adam and he was certainly one odd powerful dragon. Apart from dragon squad he had Human, Elves and Dwarves squad with very few members but their power was enough to frighten even Dragon monarch." He said then woke up from his stupor.
"Anyway Adam said there were dragon with the ability to control time when his father was alive but I never believed him because, just think about the possibility if that dragon exist and reaches the realm of Primordial dragon or Dragon god in the future the balance of whole universe will be shaken." He said.
"And one thing I can assure you is that universe never allows such thing to happen." He said with the resolute tone.
"But guardian Adam was able to seal us in one third part of the universe does that not go against the will of universe?" I asked curiously.
"I still think the ascension of guardian Adam to Dragon God realm was the will of universe and his death was consequences of his action and not because of some soul contract." Lord victor said.
"Leaving that hypothesis aside but hearing it from you, I think I have to believe that person with such ability truly exist and if such an ability is misused it would be more dangerous than we could imagine." He understood our concern and importance of mission.
"Do you have any idea, what is king using her ability for?" Lord victor asked.
"No, even lord Alex doesn't know kings purpose for keeping her existence secret but one thing is certain that it cannot be anything pleasant." I said.
"hahh…" He let out a short sigh the sudden revelation of this information must have added to his already piled up worries.
"Let me ask you a question, do you think Alex will be back alive from this raid?" He asked me.
"Yes." I said without any hesitation.
"Let me tell you, I have observed the king Azmath for more than million years and one thing I am sure about him is he should never be underestimated, no matter how many preparation one makes we can never be certain that it will be enough to take him down." He said and continued.
"It is not only because of his versatile ability but because his tricks and methods, which can be too extreme sometimes that no matter what strategy you make or what battlefield you choose you will never be able to beat him." He said to which I agree.
"Not many dragons have witnessed king going all out but I am not one of them. The war with demons which happened one million year ago I was there when king Azmath was fighting with dukes of demon king while the guardian Adam was engaged in fierce battle with demon king."
"The king didn't bat an eye to sacrifice the life of his leader not even his own son in order to defeat his enemy and survive." The fight which happened 1 million year ago huh, it's recording was still available in order to motivate young dragons but it was never felt complete to me, like many parts of it has been intentionally removed and there were very few dragons alive who had witnessed that war with their own eyes.
"I have said the same thing to Alex, I do understand he is more than capable to defeat king Azmath in one versus one dual in front of whole dragon realm and that is why king Azmath won't let such situation arise, he will try to deal with Alex in the tower itself." He deduced.
"In our dragon realm where everyone helds strength above all, only dragons sitting at the top know that it is not strength that prevails every time, you understand that better than me, don't you?" Yes I know the situation of Demion, Agatha and even I was the product of such tricks and injustice, situations where strength didn't prevailed.
"I know Alex before you were even born and even though I cannot say for certain that he will win or what preparation he has made will work out, I to want him to prevail in the trial ahead of him, so that me and all of you can retire from this tiresome job." He paused and stood from his seat looking outside the window at the dragons who were working diligently.
"I don't like to trade one life in exchange for another and if we attack capital with you, certainly we will lose great number of dragons, even I may not return alive but if it is the will of that child to save that dragon the Resistance forces will help you." He said slowly turning toward me.
"Make your own preparation; we will meet one day before the raid to discuss the final strategy." He said faintly smiling.

Sam POV
Taking a break after sparring with the beast trained by lord Alex I sat down at the edge of the training field trying to come up with some good tricks which I can use in the upcoming battle.
The sparring session was certainly entertaining and we needed to set a hierarchy between us and it also helped us in understanding each other's power.
Suddenly the crystal inside my space rune started to emit bright blue light, I retrieved it from my space rune and activated it.
Clause: [Brother, is it right time to talk about the mission you mentioned?]
Sam: [Yes.]
Clause: [We agree to accompany you for the mission.]
Sam: [That is great, I will inform you details about mission later, have you thought about what reward you want?]
Clause: [We have decided to leave that part up to you, but you better ask something which will be enough for us to survive for the rest of our lives.]
Sam: [Leave that to me, I will not disappoint you.]
Clause: [Ok brother, let's meet soon.]
Sam: [Yes.]

Andrew POV
When I exited the Resistance forces base I received the update from Agatha regarding the weapon situation and from Sam regarding his brother's consent to join us on this mission.
Suddenly a thought came to my mind why haven't I invited those bastards to join the mission, I left the planet utos in hurry the upcoming mission, it will certainly be one memorable mission.
