When Lucius activated the ring in his hand his whole body was surrounded by a layer of silver bubble and various runes danced on the surface of the bubble, it was similar to my spell [Quick seal] with which I had stored my beasts and retainers in space pocket.
From outside I could see that the wounds of Lucius body were not healing but reverting back to its previous form I tried to attack him with another offensive ability [Space bomb] in which I could condense the space so dense that I could convert it into an orb.
The orb touched the silver bubble and detonated but when the dust settled 4th leader was standing there with all his wounds healed, he was back to his perfect self the way he entered this trial. So apart from turning back time it was also inscribed with strong protection rune.
The silver light which ring was emitting has dimmed down a little but if they can really turn back time to some extent with the help of this artifact the difficulty of this mission has risen to another level. If we didn't destroy the ring before killing them they can even come back to life.
"You lot seemed to have been making good use of Emily's abilities." I said releasing full momentum of my Dragon force, which could even flatten mountains. I was surprised by this development but I was more angry than surprised.
I knew she wouldn't have willingly made this artifact and I would have been in her place if the conditions of my soul contract weren't different from others.
"Oh so you do know that poor dragon whom king has imprisoned, I don't need to hide anything from you then." It was me who was trying to anger Lucius till now but this time it was Lucius who tried to provoke me and his provocation has definitely worked which will also be cause of his death.
Without any delay he transformed into his true dragon form which was 80 meter tall black dragon and activated his black fog ability I don't know how he would attack me but I was not in the mood to play with him anymore.
[Black hole]
Saying this 5 [Black hole] 10 meter huge opened around Lucius surrounding him from every direction. The black gas emitted by Lucius in his true dragon form was like a endless tsunami but [Black hole] was sucking everything and even Lucius had tough time standing surrounded by this many [Black hole].
He was continuously attacking the [Black hole] with his [Dragon Breath] but his attack was not powerful than mine and on my command the [Black hole] were continuously changing location evading his attack.
As the fight kept getting intense the dome above us continued to expand. Covering myself with a layer of space I retrieved one of my treasured swords [Aurora]. It was not a draconic weapon but a weapon made out of beast core. It was a partially indestructible sword if I do not use my void ability on it and It doesn't break no matter how much aura I used.
Before transforming into his true dragon form Lucius has stored the time artifact inside his subspace therefore I have to make him use it again and retrieve before he can wear it.
I dyed [Aurora] with aura to the degree that the silver blade started to heat and turn red the temperature around us changed and I used [Warp] appearing above Lucius head covering myself in the layer of space so that the black gas doesn't affect me I slashed at his face.
He was tracking my moments and tried to back down to avoid the cut but [Warp] took me directly in front of him. He was also trying to cover himself with black gas so that my attack does not land on him and using his front legs he tried to counterattack me but using [Warp] again I avoided his counterattack and slashed his face leaving a deep mark.
Without giving him the time to recover I used [warp] many times and inflicted damage on his Dragon heart. He was like an 80 meter huge mountain while I was 14 feet ant but the strength behind my attack was enough to slay mountains
Only his beastly cry resounded in the dome as he was once again forced to transform into his humanoid form. Stopping the release of black gas once again as it was proving worthless in this situation; he used an attack with which I was more than familiar and what could be described as his trump card.
[Soul Manipulation]
He shouted and different opaque souls started to leave Lucius body, not only that but the ground where I was standing started to quake and opaque souls could be seen rising from beneath. The location was to the advantage of Lucius because who know how many people would have died in this coliseum that Lucius can use against me.
I could see thousands of soul standing in my way and Lucius stood at the center of them, thousand souls surrounding and protecting him, so that I could not directly attack him. My own soul was feeling a pulling force and if I go near him the force will only increase.
Lucius gave order to some of the powerful souls and without any fear they dived into the [Black hole]. When it was not possible for them destroy the [Black hole] with their strength they detonated inside destroying the core of [black hole] sacrificing themselves along with it.
Ignoring the [black hole] I focused on Lucius who was healing his wounds inside the silver bubble the scar on his face as well as the hole in his heart which I had inflicted recently was turning back as if nothing has happened.
Not only his injury but his mana was also refilling, it wouldn't be long before all his wounds would disappear. I had been fighting him in the reserved manner till now because of the burden I felt while carrying beast inside space pocket and I don't wanted to kill him before extracting information but I think I have to get little serious.
The souls surrounding Lucius were not weak at all and if I try to deal with them individually it would only drag out this fight. Each and every soul in the army of Lucius was at the level of Dragon king to Dragon Monarch and some of them were of different species which I hadn't seen in my life.
It would be an endless fight if Lucius kept recovering and if he had more souls reserved therefore I have to end this fight with a single move. Thinking this I used my best offensive attack which was an overkill to be used against Lucius but necessary in the current situation.
