I watch as the prince socializes with the maidens that have flocked around him as though he's a shiny piece of bread on the beach. It kinda made my blood stir. Kind of. You see, the second prince, Killian Devine is one of the 3 royal heirs of the Synthica Kingdom that's known for its magic. Killian is the middle child and is known to be the gentleman who is quite fond of socializing, even though in secret he struggles a lot....but I'll get into that later. As for the rest of the details.... although their important I prefer talking about my angel....but fine.
Synthica is as I said, a place of magic. There are multiple different categories that they fall into. There are first Runes, those who read minds, Wich by the way are somehow all really nosey and they like to mess around with people. Next there are guardians, people who look like souls but have black hair and purple eyes and the power to manipulate matter, peoples movement or objects. They protect us from Darks, creatures of the dark and who only thrive off possession and need a host to stay alive. They often have red or gold eyes and they can influence the hosts eye color depending how long they possess them. These are the ones who are considered bad ones as they often find amusement in suffering and torture....of course there are souls, who make up majority of the population and are normal people despite maybe faint traces of past ancestors magic. Lastly, there are the top ones, Shines. These are the royal bloodline. Ever since the founding of Synthica. They have the power of great healing and often can somehow make anyone feel the need to like, help, protect, basically their like a magnet. Sometimes they even calm a Darks bloodlust. Shines are often seen with a pale rose colored hair and eyes and are often gentle people. Their genes are also extremely strong for some reason.
Anyway, next up I should tell you a bit about the Devine family, huh? There are 5 of them. The King, Queen, crown Prince, second prince, and young princess. The King is a soul, with dark brown hair and purple eyes (from ancestry) and he is stern but lenient if that makes sense. A fair king. The queen is the one with the Shine bloodline. She has the light pink hair and eyes as do the whole rest of the family except for the princess who we'll get to in a minute. The Queen is gentle and sweet but is quite avoident of socilizing. The crown Prince, Aiden, is 23 and has the bloodline traits too. He is quite cold but also fair and gentle he just really hates repeating himself....trust me...I should know...
The last two are the youngest ones and aren't far apart. The second prince, Killian, is a gentle and social butterfly who has traits of the bloodline but his eyes are a more vibrant pink-purple than normal. It adds to his stunning beauty. (Totally not biased) And lastly, the princess, Kaitlyn. She is a fair princess, 17 years old, and she has light pink hair but somehow inherited the dark purple eyes of her father despite the slim chance rating. She loves shopping and is absolutely boy crazy.... especially for guards.... unfortunately...
That leads to who I am. I am a guard, Killian's personal guard to be exact, and I am a guardian. Of course I have black hair and purple eyes. My powers aren't the strongest but I have a much faster reaction and passed my training and tests much better than many of the other guards so I was assigned to the second prince. I'm glad I get the honors of following him around every day but....I also have to watch these seductive maidens trying to catch his eyes. It's pathetic really. They don't even try to hide their intentions. I have a bit of Rune in me too...so I'm oddly good at reading motives. Helped with training but.... doesn't help when your trying not to think about their grubby hands on the prince. But anyway, I think your bout filled in, yeah? Oh and if you hadn't guessed....I'm gay. Well Bi but I definitely lean more towards guy's most the time. Have fun with that info and let the story begin.
