As Terrance sat at the table. He checked the watch he had worn to look more impressive. But as this was the third time he had glanced down to check the time. He had begun to doubt that his date was coming. It had been an hour since they were supposed to have met. And he slowly began to realize that his date had stood him up. Again.
He had met her on the internet. The past two times he had gone through dating sites he had been left high and dry by himself. With his thoughts piling high in his head. The sound of the restaurant filled his ears. It was noisy and filled with the sounds of people talking.Â
Terrance wondered why he had such problems getting women to even date him. In high school he couldn't get girls to go on more than one date with him. But now he can't even get that much. Was it something he said? The way he talked? As he let out a sigh he looked down at the table. The table had been set for their reservation. The silver plates and utensils all just sat empty. Mocking him with the enjoyable meal he could have had.Â
Standing up he threw a hundred dollar bill down for the payment of his drinks and a nice tip for his waiter. Terrance walked out of the restaurant with a righteous anger in his chest. Walking out into the raining outside he held a hand over his head to stop the rain from hitting him. But he put it down when it became obvious all it would do is hurt his soaking wet arm.
As he walked along the side of the road to get to his car. He felt his embarrassment spoil into anger. And he now felt something crack inside of him. And yelled out to the empty night sky as he continued to move. "Alright! You win! I'll stop looking for love! You've made it very clear that it isn't for me. From now on I won't do things the nice way! Instead I'll just play the field like a piece of shit! So get ready! Scumbag Terry is getting his arc-"
Terrance's eyes widened as he noticed that it got very bright just to the left of him. Turning his head showed that he was in the middle of the road that led cars into the parking garage. He didn't have time to process anything else before the car crashed into him. He felt one large wave of pain as the front of the car bashed into him. Sending his body back in a flailing motion. Until he hit the ground limp. As he laid dying on the ground. His vision had gone out. The only thing he could see was a sentence that had filled his vision since getting hit.
You have died.
