Chereads / Imperial Beast Shop / Chapter 3 - Prologue

Chapter 3 - Prologue

In a world far away from the rest of stellar civilization, a group of explorers crash-landed on a green planet. They aptly named it Green Star Planet.

Over time, their settlement grew.

From wood to stone, stone to metal, they began to grow back towards their origins.

But fate had something different in mind.

From a different galaxy, a group of aliens arrived. Roughly humanoid, pure white in color, lacking noses and other extremities…

One of each went to every world. Energy coursed their beings, and each planet was filled with their Energy of Origin.

Plants began to mutate, and Beasts began to rise. To save the human population from certain destruction, these beings, called "Hrrma" in their own tongue, gifted the skill of Beast Taming.

As the beasts grew stronger, humans bound them to their control. As the worlds of the Grimstar Galaxy continued to thrive, the universal plan of Beast Taming took root.

But the "Hrrm" were not done. They gifted special trinkets to those they deemed favorable.

Han the Human was one such man. The "Hrmm" granted him The Beast Furnace.

Unfortunately for Han, he was smacked in the back of the head with the Beast Pot by his disloyal son. His son then ran away, taking the utility of the foreign gift with him…

Over time, the planet gave rise to several kingdoms and factions. Unlike ofher worlds, the Green Star Planet did not lack continents. Nearly the entire planet was forest.

However, underground oceans kept the water flowing. In various locations, steam would rise in the form of geysers… Spitting water into the air, and coming back down as rain and dew.

As life on Green Star grew and advanced, each Kingdom began to grow alongside it.

Ysmir, the Isle of Dunes. Using the power of Beasts, they partitioned a section of forest into a land of dunes and built a moat around it.

Kairos, the Volcanic Trenchworks. Using a dragon, their first King turned the land itself into a piece of obsidian. Carving giant trenches into the land, he built houses and bridges to protect his followers.

The merchants of Seiros grew into their own Union of Seiros. Plied by alliance and trade, they quickly rose to prominence alongside the nations around them.

The Rock Tribe of Maelon found their home. By creating spires and cliffs, strengthening their very citadels of stone, they formed the Stone Kingdom.

A rebellion took place in the Stone Kingdom. The Imperial Family fled. They and their followers created the Mountain Empire. After ruling it for several generations, they began to take the land around them. After subjugating the Kairos and Stone Kingdoms, the rest gathered together.

A great war lasted for 3,000 years. Eventually, both sides signed a treaty. Every ruler on both sides married someone from the other. With lineages intertwined, the great houses and dynasties were forced to stand still.

Technology advanced. An era of worldwide communication prevailed. As the war calmed down, people began to explore the planet in earnest.

The ocean people took for theirselves in the ocean below. They began to use great Ocean Whales to traverse the great deep. A form of transportation was created to ferry humans across the planet.

But during this time, only one kingdom remembered their origins: Faeris, The Kingdom of the Great Tree.
