Chapter 1 - "Kath and Beebo"

"Damn, that hurts!" The gorilla cried out as he rose from the ground, his face contorted with pain and anger. His muscular arms trembled as he pressed against the ground to regain his balance. Around him, the dust rose from the blow that had just knocked him down, leaving a deep mark in the soil.

In front of him stood two massive bear-like beasts, their thick brown fur acting as armor to block out any hint of weakness. Their sharp claws glinted in the setting sun, like deadly metal swords, their glowing yellow eyes watching the gorilla as if it were an escaped prey. Their deep roars filled the air, as if emanating from deep within a mountain, echoing off into the horizon.

"I never thought I'd be fighting two level twos," the gorilla muttered in a low voice, but there was an unwavering defiance in his tone. His broad chest rose and fell with his rapid breathing, his eyes blazing with a newfound determination. He looked at the two beasts, one of them was slowly digging its claws into the ground, as if threatening him before pouncing, and the other was shaking its head, as if preparing to launch the final attack.

Suddenly, one of the beasts charged toward her with a speed that was disproportionate to its massive size. The ground trembled beneath its heavy steps, and dust swirled around it. The gorilla gathered its strength in a moment, and with a swift movement, it threw itself to the side to dodge the attack. The smell of dirt mixed with sweat and blood filled its nostrils, but it didn't lose focus. It quickly turned to face the second beast, which lunged at her with a raised claw.

"It's time to settle the score!" the gorilla shouted, and its massive hand flared with energy, glowing a bright red.

The gorilla charged at the first bear with force, delivering a massive punch to its chest. Its fist collided with the bear's tough fur, producing a sound like a rock falling on a mountain, and the bear was sent flying backward, rolling on the ground as it tried to regain its balance.

But before the gorilla could catch its breath, the other bear charged toward it, its sharp claw gleaming like a blade as it swung in a deadly arc. At the last moment, the gorilla grabbed the bear's claw, its immense grip clamping down like a vice. The sound of bones creaking rose as the beast struggled to free itself, but the gorilla didn't budge.

"Take this!" the gorilla roared like thunder, and a strange glow appeared on its body. Red lines flared like fire across its dark skin, branching through its muscles as if they were a network of molten lava. The energy that surged was palpable, even the air around it seemed to ignite.

With a swift movement, the gorilla landed a punch with all its might toward the second bear. The force of the blow easily pierced the beast's defenses in a terrifying manner, and the gorilla's hand sank deep into the bear's stomach, penetrating its thick skin and tough fur. The beast let out a horrific scream, the echo of pain filling the surrounding forest, before its massive body collapsed like a lifeless corpse onto the ground.

The first bear, which had been trying to rise, staggered back, its yellow eyes staring at the gorilla with a mixture of rage and fear. The red energy lines on the gorilla's body continued to glow, and its chest heaved with rapid breaths, like a living hurricane ready to destroy anything in its path.

When the bear saw what had happened to its companion, it paused for a moment, staring at the gorilla glowing with fading red lines, then slowly turned and began to retreat into the shadows. It wasn't foolish enough to ignore the difference in strength. Its heavy steps, which had once made the ground tremble, now turned into a desperate retreat.

The gorilla, exhausted and panting, felt the red lines that had been radiating from its body gradually fade away. Its body, once burning with energy, now felt more sluggish, and its broad shoulders relaxed slightly. It looked at the retreating bear but didn't move. It no longer had the energy to chase.

But the moment was not as peaceful as expected. Suddenly, from among the dense shadows, a slender creature lunged with lightning speed, shooting like an arrow toward the fleeing bear. The bear was forcefully pushed back, crashing to the ground with a loud thud.

The attacker became clearly visible as it stood over the bear's body. It was a slender creature with a graceful body covered in black fur. Its taut muscles were clearly visible beneath the fur, and its narrow, shining eyes resembled those of a tiger, gleaming with a sharpness that reflected deadly intelligence and caution.

Its face was a harmonious blend of human and tiger traits. Its prominent nose and relatively short snout were filled with sharp teeth that gleamed under the dim light. Its long claws resembled those of a predator, yet its graceful movement and light steps suggested that it was more precise and dangerous than its size might imply.

"You ran from one, only to face your fate with another!" the hybrid creature said in a low, sharp voice, dripping with cold confidence. It crouched slightly, preparing for another strike, its slender, taut body resembling a bow ready to launch a lethal arrow.

Yellow lines began to glow on the bear's body, spreading across its fur like sparks of energy seeping into its massive muscles. The bear slowly rose, the sound of its heavy footsteps causing a powerful tremor, as if the mountain itself had breathed. Its heavy breaths were filled with anger, a low growl emanated from its throat, and its yellow eyes gleamed even more intensely.

The hybrid tiger stood facing the scene with a smile, as if the entire situation was an enjoyable challenge for him. Suddenly, blue lines began to glow on his sleek body, flickering like tongues of flame that enhanced his movement. The tiger shot forward with lightning speed, his steps barely touching the ground, his gleaming claws ready to strike.

In an instant, the tiger was before the bear, launching a series of rapid attacks. His claws moved with astonishing speed, leaving shallow gashes across the bear's thick fur. The bear, despite its massive size, seemed to be facing a nightmare of speed, unable to keep up with the tiger's relentless steps.

However, the bear was not weak. It let out a deafening roar, raised its massive hands high, then brought them down with overwhelming force. The ground around it shook violently, and sharp rocks shot out in all directions like spikes, attempting to encircle and strike the tiger. The attack was like a storm—deadly and widespread.

Yet, with unbelievable agility and speed, the tiger leaped into the air, elegantly avoiding the rocks. He rolled lightly on the ground as soon as he landed, regaining his stance without losing his balance. His eyes locked onto the bear with a deadly intensity, while his blue lines glowed even more brightly.

"Your attacks are as slow as your movements, big guy," the tiger said with a mocking grin.

Suddenly, sharp, hard rock protrusions began to form on the bear's body, appearing quickly as if the earth itself was trying to protect this massive beast. Its skin, once covered with fur, was now surrounded by a solid layer of rocks, enveloping most of its body and making it even more imposing and majestic. Each step it took toward the tiger caused slight tremors in the ground, and its eyes, burning with anger, fixed on its lean opponent who stood boldly before it.

On the other side, the tiger-boy prepared himself, his features a blend of confidence and caution. The blue lines covering his body began to glow with increasing intensity, and he took up a runner's stance, his bent legs ready to spring, his arms drawn tight like a bow ready to fire.

"Blue Arrow!" the tiger shouted loudly, his words signaling the beginning of his final attack. He shot forward with lightning speed, faster than any movement he had shown before, his body gleaming under the glow of his blue, pulsing lines. The ground beneath his feet cracked from the force of his push, and dust rose behind him like a comet's tail.

In the blink of an eye, he was directly in front of the bear, his fist extended forward, aimed at the creature's rocky heart. The immense power and speed of his strike pierced the bear's rocky chest, tearing through its dense stone layers as if they were nothing. The tiger emerged from the other side, his fist covered in dust and shattered rocks, and for a moment, the bear stood still, frozen in place.

A heavy silence filled the area before the bear's giant body collapsed with a resounding crash, the rocks that covered it breaking into scattered fragments. The tiger-boy, Keth, stood a short distance away, his breath quickening, but he maintained his confident posture. He glanced back at the shattered bear's body, then smiled lightly and said in a calm voice:

"Even the strongest rocks crumble before the wind."

Keth, panting audibly, his breath rapid from the exhausting battle, looked at the bear's lifeless form for a few seconds, as if confirming that the threat had truly ended, then walked steadily toward the gorilla.

"Are you okay, Bibo?" Keth asked, his tone a mix of concern and relief.

Bibo lifted his head with difficulty. His features were exhausted, his eyes half-closed, but he managed to force a weak smile onto his face. "Yeah, just worn out. That fight was tougher than I expected."

Keth stopped beside him and extended a hand to help support Bibo. "Thanks for the help, Keth. If you hadn't intervened, I don't know how I would've faced them both."

Keth smiled faintly, as if the praise meant little to him. "No need to thank me, Bibo. We're a team. Isn't that what we do? We support each other." He added with a sarcastic grin: "But you really need to stop facing second-tier monsters on your own. You make it seem like you enjoy trouble."

Bibo laughed despite his exhaustion, taking Keth's hand to rise slowly. "Maybe I do enjoy it, or maybe trouble enjoys me."

Keth looked around with observant eyes, his voice dropping slightly as he muttered: "Looks like we've entered a new area."

The ground beneath his feet was covered in thick wild grasses that crawled in every direction, winding around the ruined buildings that loomed in the distance. The concrete structures, once towering and inhabited, were now mere silent ruins, covered in climbing plants that had woven themselves across the crumbling walls. The shattered windows looked like empty eyes staring into the unknown, while the crumbled walls revealed the bones of buildings worn down by time.

The air was saturated with the overwhelming scent of nature, mixed with a faint hint of rust and dirt. Here and there, trees sprouted from cracks in the concrete floors or peeked from the rooftops, as if demanding their right to reclaim this forgotten place. A chilling silence enveloped the area, broken only by the soft sound of wind passing through the ruins, as though it whispered the secrets of the past.

"This place..." Bibo murmured as he looked around, then paused briefly to lean against one of the tilted columns. "It's like we're in a completely different world. Was this... a city once?"

Keth responded with a light smile, though his eyes remained alert. "Maybe. Or just a reminder of what can happen to any place if it's forgotten for a long time."

Keth moved forward with cautious steps, his eyes capturing every detail, before turning to Bibo and saying with a light tone of teasing: "Well, let's start exploring, big guy. Who knows? We might find something interesting... or maybe just more trouble."
