Chapter 2.
Just as Suzuki was deep in thought, Hanako's voice rang out:
"Hey, Suzuki? Let's go home, I've already packed up! Don't just stand there."
As Hanako spoke, she waved her hands in front of him.
"Uh? ... Okay."
Suzuki snapped back to reality, pulled out a bag from under the table, and packed in some items he needed to take home.
Hanako's house was not far from his; they walked the same road, so not only were they desk mates, but they could also be considered half-neighbors.
On that street, Suzuki got along better with Hanako than with others, so they often walked to and from school together.
After packing their things, the two walked out of the classroom and slowly headed towards the school gate...
At that moment, not far from the school gate, on the playground, a girl with red hair was fighting six upperclassmen. The six students seemed to be no match for her, being overwhelmed and even having their noses bloodied. Yes, this was the violent girl known to many students at Konoha Ninja School — Red hot, Uzumaki Kushina!
Someone must have mocked her again.
Many students nearby were watching the commotion, occasionally applauding and cheering.
So, Suzuki and Hanako stopped at the entrance to watch the excitement for a while.
Before long, Kushina chased away the six students, holding her head high with a proud expression, her gaze confidently directed to the right.
Seeing this, Suzuki looked over and indeed spotted the blonde-haired Namikaze Minato not far away!
He was sitting in a large tree, watching Kushina take on multiple opponents.
It was only after the fight ended that he jumped down from the tree and walked gently towards Kushina. The two seemed to exchange a few words, after which Kushina punched Minato playfully, and they both headed towards the school gate.
In fact, Suzuki had previously encountered a moment when Uzumaki Kushina was fighting, and Namikaze Minato stepped in to stop her, but the result was that he and others ended up getting beaten...
This time, however, the rapid development of their relationship made Suzuki realize that the incident of Kushina being kidnapped had probably already happened, and it should have been not long ago.
"That was fast. If that's the case, the Second Shinobi World War should be coming to an end soon, right?"
"After all, they've resorted to such disgraceful techniques; the four great ninja villages must be exhausted."
"The original work didn't specify the exact month and day, only that the war ended in the 37th year of the Konoha calendar."
"Looking at it this way, it might be early in the 37th year, and the war will end in about half a year? Is it already at the end?"
As Suzuki watched Minato and Kushina together, he thought to himself.
Watching the two approach while playfully teasing each other, Hanako was a bit excited, looking at them with admiration:
"Suzuki, did you see that? That's Senior Kushina! She's amazing! She drove away those six upperclassmen! Kushina! So cool!"
This excitement wasn't limited to Hanako.
Almost all the girls around either admired kushina or had a crush on Namikaze Minato, and now that the two were suddenly together, it was quite a big deal.
Suzuki could almost hear the sound of many girls' hearts breaking and saw many envious gazes directed at Minato and Kushina.
"Alright, Hanako, we should go."
Suzuki said calmly.
"Ah? Okay, okay, um, hehe, Senior Kushina is so cool, hehe."
Hanako seemed still immersed in the earlier scene.
On the other side, Minato and Kushina had reached the school gate, and many students crowded at the entrance moved aside to make way.
Seeing this, Hanako, forgetting her excitement and admiration, prepared to pull Suzuki aside.
However, at that moment, Minato suddenly looked over, as if he remembered something:
"Who are you? Suzuki... Suzuki, right?"
"Ah, yes, hello, Senior Minato!"
Suzuki didn't expect Minato would still remember him.
Although they had met many times at the ninja school, their last greeting was three years ago.
With so many students in the school, they had only greeted each other once; could he really remember?
As expected, he was indeed the future Fourth Hokage.
Minato smiled gently:
"Are you heading home?"
"Yes, Senior Minato, and you too, Senior Kushina, you're both about to graduate, right? Good luck!" Suzuki replied seriously.
"Haha, okay, thank you!"
Seeing Kushina occasionally nudging him, Minato realized she was probably eager to leave, so he said apologetically:
"Kushina and I need to head back too; you both should study hard, good luck!"
"Good luck!"
Kushina, holding Minato's hand as they walked towards the school gate, suddenly turned back to say, then they walked away.
Suzuki politely waved goodbye.
Until Hanako exclaimed:
"Eh? Eh??? Suzuki-chan! So you know Senior Mizunoto?"
Suzuki turned around, his face very calm:
"No, we just greeted each other once. I didn't expect Senior Mizunoto would remember me."
"Well, they are about to graduate, right? We will graduate in two years too. Hehe, I hope we can graduate easily like them!"
Hanako smiled as she talked about the future.
Then she suddenly opened her bag and took out some coins.
"Ah, I still have over three hundred coins left for pocket money this month. Let's go, Suzuki, it's on me! Let's go eat some dumplings!"
Hanako looked at Suzuki with anticipation.
"You're treating? That's great, but this amount of dumplings isn't enough. I have a few hundred more coins; let's order more dumplings, and we can buy some drinks too. What do you want to drink, Hanako?"
Suzuki asked.
Hanako seemed suddenly very happy, her petite body even bouncing as she walked:
"I want the sweet potato bubble milk tea; it smells so good and tastes amazing!"
"Okay, but how do you remember such a long name so clearly? You really are something, Hanako!"
Suzuki smiled helplessly at Hanako in front of him.
...
Because she came home earlier this time and had already eaten dumplings on the way, Hanako, who originally planned to have dinner at home, could only eat half before she couldn't eat anymore, for which she was scolded by her parents.
Of course, Suzuki didn't know about this; he was currently tidying up his room.
This room wasn't very big, just a bit larger than the one Naruto lived in the original story.
However, it was just right for three people to live in, and it wasn't too tiring to clean up for one person.
The family's inheritance wasn't much, mostly shops, and they left some money, about three hundred thousand coins.
Since Suzuki was only five years old, he couldn't manage the shops, and he had no intention of doing business, so he rented them out for an annual rent of fifty thousand coins.
After successfully entering the Konoha Ninja School, he also thought about whether to buy some necessary ninja supplies.
However, unfortunately, most things available on the market would basically be taught in ninja school, and for some "rare" items, he could also ask the teachers. As for ninjutsu, it was non-existent.
Therefore, after learning to refine chakra, in order to increase his chakra amount,
he could only use money to buy some possibly useful supplements and then practice the three-body technique taught in ninja school day after day, practicing the fine control of chakra.
Until today, he still had over two hundred thousand coins left in his wallet.
After completing today's chakra training, it was almost midnight. After taking a shower,
Suzuki lay on his bed thinking about the future:
"Who will I be teammates with after graduation? Hanako? And who else?"
"I wonder which Jonin will be leading the team. Perhaps just a Chunin will be the captain?"
"Maybe... hmm???
Suddenly, his perception became incredibly peculiar.
Suzuki inexplicably felt that reality suddenly seemed false, and the world became extremely small. At the edges, it seemed there was a layer of membrane enveloping it, while his vision rose to infinite heights.
At this moment, in some sense, he was far greater than the world.
The sudden change did not cause him to panic; perhaps years of perseverance had tempered his temperament, or perhaps the harsh realities of the ninja world had altered his character.
Suzuki just calmly observed everything until he seemed to be getting higher and larger...
At a certain moment, he realized he even touched that layer of barrier that seemed to separate the world.
This was unreal, non-material, even non-spiritual. If the Naruto world had so-called higher dimensions, like time and such,
then he was undoubtedly unrelated to that because he was much higher than that!
This was a three-dimensional object, squeezed into a two-dimensional perception.
However, he did not directly become a god, including being omniscient and omnipotent; that was beyond him.
He merely understood that the dimensions of this world were low for him, but he could not do anything about this low dimension.
He gently touched that layer of the world's barrier with his finger, and thus, the barrier cracked open.
Outside the crack, it seemed there was nothing, yet it also seemed to contain many things, sometimes present, sometimes absent.
"What is this? A late-arriving golden finger? A special ability of a traveler?"
"What's going on? Quantum state? Schrödinger? Is it due to insufficient perception and cognition?"
"What's outside? Chaos? Nothingness? Multiverse?"
"Will going out directly lead to death? Will I return to the original world? Or will I continue to traverse some unknown world? It's too unknown!" Suzuki furrowed his brow in speculation.
However, this peculiar state seemed not to last, and just as he was about to return to the Naruto world, Suzuki made a choice.
He reached out an arm towards the world beyond!
