As the days went by, Haruta settled into a routine at Delinquent High. He attended classes, hung out with his new friends, and tried to stay out of trouble.
But despite his best efforts, Haruta couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. Everywhere he went, he seemed to catch glimpses of the principal, Mr. Blackwood, lurking in the shadows.
It wasn't until he received a summons to the principal's office, however, that Haruta realized just how much attention he had attracted.
As he walked into the office, Haruta was greeted by Mr. Blackwood's stern expression. The principal was a tall, imposing man with a shaved head and a thick beard. He looked like a drill sergeant, and Haruta couldn't help but feel a sense of intimidation as he approached the desk.
"Ah, Haruta," Mr. Blackwood said, his voice firm but controlled. "I've been hearing some interesting things about you. I understand you've been making friends with some of our more... colorful students."
Haruta nodded warily, unsure of where the conversation was going.
Mr. Blackwood leaned forward, his eyes glinting with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. "I want to make one thing very clear, Haruta," he said. "Delinquent High is not a place for games or experimentation. This is a school for students who have been given a second chance, and I expect you to take that chance seriously."
Haruta nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. He had a feeling that he was being warned, but he wasn't sure what he was being warned about.
Mr. Blackwood's expression turned cold and hard. "Let me put it this way, Haruta," he said. "If you screw up, even once, you're out of here. Do you understand?"
Haruta nodded, feeling a sense of fear creeping up his spine. He had never been one for authority, and the thought of being kicked out of school was a daunting one.
But, as he left the principal's office, Haruta couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Mr. Blackwood's warning than met the eye. What was the principal really trying to tell him? And what lay in store for him at Delinquent High?
