The kingdom of Eldwyn stood as a beacon of peace and prosperity, protected by the valor of its knights. Among them, Shadow was the most skilled, earning his title for his speed and stealth. Yet his loyalty to the royal family would be his undoing.

When Eldwyn was ambushed by Maldrak, a powerful sorcerer, Shadow led the knights into battle. Despite their efforts, the sorcerer unleashed a devastating spell, destroying the castle and its inhabitants. Shadow, who was supposed to guard the royal family, arrived too late to save them. Consumed by guilt, Shadow was blamed for the tragedy and exiled.
