Lyra, a courageous young woman from the village, had heard tales of Shadow's legendary deeds. When her village was attacked by Maldrak's raiders, she sought him out, begging for his help.
At first, Shadow refused, convinced he no longer deserved the title of knight. But when he saw the desperation in Lyra's eyes and the scars left by the raiders, he reluctantly agreed to train the villagers in self-defense.
