With how she had acted so far, it would have been more shocking if she actually did know a way.

Luckily, palace staff usually had their own hidden routes. There had to be at least one servant who knew a discreet way out.

As Little Sweetie left the room to "ask" around, Nnenna leaned back slightly, exhaling. If all went well, she would be out of the castle in a few hours.

Little Sweetie stepped out of the room with a sigh of relief, almost as if the weight of the situation had lifted off her shoulders.

She waited in the hallway for a moment before walking back to Nnenna's room, knocking gently before entering.

"Nnenna," she began, her voice calm yet filled with purpose, "one of the servants told me there's a way out through the gardens."

She paused, choosing her words carefully. "She was tending to the flowers one day when she stepped on something hidden beneath the vines. To her surprise, there was a set of stairs leading down.
