Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1:- FIRST DAY

"Jules Martin, that your name boy?" Asked Mr Timothy.

"Oh..uh..yeah" Jules stammered.

"You must be quite the shy kid" Mr Timothy pulled out a piece of paper from the printer.

"Here, go hand it over to your homeroom teacher and then you can resume classes" His arms stretched out with the piece of paper which Jules accepted afterwards.

"Alright sir" Jules bowed and walked out of the office.

'Phew' he sighed in relief, he looked around in search of any clues of where his classroom could be. Students flocked everywhere, talking and laughing over what seemed to be trivial matters and asking any of these evil looking students was the last thing he would do. Yes, everyone looked evil in his eyes.

"Ow" someone bumped into him. "Watch where you're...." He paused for a moment at the sight of the young lady. She was so beautiful but there was something even more strange. Her eyes, they were bright blue and unlike regular blue coloured eyes, they seemed to be sparkling, they shone brightly through her glasses.

Elise looked up at the guy she had accidently bumped into. She raised a brow as he didn't say a word but just stared at her.

"What are you staring at?" She asked with a serious expression.

"Oh..uh..nothing" Jules jolted back to reality and scratched his head awkwardly.

Elise didn't say a word and walked away. She had better things to do than waste another second on that loser boy.

Jules slapped his forehead as he watched her leave. He cringed at how he had acted earlier.

"My first day at a new school and a pretty girl already thinks I'm a loser" he said. Although Elise hadn't called him a loser, he was pretty sure that was her impression of him.

Just then, a friendly looking boy walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, you alright?" Chris asked. He had noticed how lost and confused he was and how Elise had previously ignored him.

"Oh..uh..yeah, pretty much" Jules let out an awkward smile.

"Oh, alright. I just wanna apologize for my friend's attitude towards you earlier. She can be pretty unfriendly sometimes" Chris said.

"Oh I see" Jules nodded. 'Who is this guy and why is he talking to me?' He thought.

"Anyways, you must be new here" Chris said and Jules was a bit surprised.

"Oh, was it that obvious?" He asked.

"Not really, I'm pretty observant so I know I've never seen you around here" Chris said rather proudly.

"Oh, well yeah..it's my first day at this school and I can't seem to find my classroom" Jules said. 'Might as well ask for directions from him' he thought.

"Oh, what classroom is that?" Chris asked.

"Class 2A" Jules said.

Chris was stunned for a moment. "Well what a coincidence, that's my classroom" he smiled.

'Oh boy' Jules thought.

In an instant, Chris grabbed his wrist and walked him to the classroom.

"Here it is, your new classroom" He smiled.

Jules looked around awkwardly, some students took notice of an unfamiliar face infront of the classroom and turned to look at him.

"Uh..I'm gonna..go find the homeroom teacher.." he stammered but in an instant, the teacher arrived before he could leave.

"Everyone take you seats" Mr Harry said sternly and turned to look at Jules.

"You must be the new student, I've been looking everywhere for you" he said.

Chris smiled at Jules and went to take his seat as well. Jules shivered at the awkward situation.

"Come on, introduce yourself" Mr Harry said.

"Oh..uh..my name is Jules" Jules stammered. "Jules Martin" he added.

He looked towards Chris who gave him a thumbs up but his attention diverted to the girl seated by the window. It was the cold looking pretty blue eyed girl who had bumped into him earlier. She paid no attention to his introduction and was simply writing something on a notebook.

"Is that all?" My Harry asked jolting him back to reality.

"Well...i moved here from Samphire so it's my first time at a new town" Jules said. 'That information was probably unnessecary' he thought.

Mr Harry nodded. "Everyone, this is Jules Martin and he'll be studying with you all from now on" he said to the class. "Hello Jules" a few students welcomed him while the others simply stared or did their own thing.

"Jules, go take a seat" Mr Harry said.

Jules looked around to find an empty seat.

"There's a vacant seat beside Elise. Go seat there" Mr Harry said.

Jules heart skipped a beat as he realized Elise was the girl from earlier.

"Um..okay" he said and awkwardly walked towards the seat.

Elise didn't seem to pay attention to him at all. Infact, it was like he was invisible. He was already seated beside her but she didn't even turn to look at him.

Chris patted him from the side. "Welcome to Giylberd high bro" He said but the girl seated beside him spoke before Jules could reply.

"Hi Jules, my name's Anne" Anne said and waved as she introduced herself.

"Oh..hi..Anne, my name's Jules" Jules said awkwardly not realizing he had introduced himself again.

"Oh, of course I know that" Anne laughed and Jules blushed at his mistake.

"Elise, aren't you gonna say hi to the new kid" Chris called out to her.

"I don't fancy introductions" Elise said still not looking towards them.

"Tch, typical Elise" Chris rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, we're happy to have you here Jules. I can tell we're gonna be good friends" Chris smiled brightly.

Jules smiled back at his warm welcome. He had expected everyone to ignore him as always, he was an awkward loser after all but Chris didn't seem to mind that and even wanted to be friends with him and then there's Anne who's also surprisingly nice as well. Although Elise on the other hand...

'Well, Chris did say she was pretty unfriendly' he thought.

I may actually fit in here.....
