After school, Jules walked down the tranquil street which led to his house.
A sudden wave of wind brushed past him making him look around in surprise...
"What was that?" He wondered as he saw nothing.
"Well, probably just the wind" he shrugged but then paused for a moment as he came to a realization..
It wasn't a windy day.
"Why're you overthinking this man?" He said to himself. He looked at his watch and it was 4pm.
"The football match starts at 5, well I've got sometime before then" He said and continued his journey home.
It was 6pm...
Jules bent down slightly at the living room whilst pouring cat food into a bowl. "Here you go Milo" He said and patted the tiny cat on it's head as it began to munch on it's food.
"Jules, go grab my card and get some groceries from the supermarket!" A feminine voice yelled from upstairs. "I'll send you the items on chatup so get going!" Charlotte yelled at her brother from upstairs.
"Urgh, alright!" Jules groaned and walked out the house afterwards to the nearby supermarket.
A few minutes later....
"That would be 20 niros*" the cashier said.
Jules hurriedly paid for the items and began to walk home.
"Urgh, making me do her errands all the time" He muttered.
"I mean, she could literally just walk out of the house and...." He paused in his tracks at the sight of a strange brown light emitted at his direction.
He looked around at the other people gathered there and no one seemed to have noticed the light except him. This only piqued his curiosity even more.
'Could it be a UFO?' He thought to himself...
Soon, the light began to move away from him and as if bewitched, he began to follow it.
About an hour passed and Jules hadn't noticed he had been walking in the direction of the light for a long time now. Soon, the light stopped moving as it seemed he had arrived at it's source.
"A...a stone?" He looked down at the brightly shining object still oblivious to the fact that he was far away from the supermarket and his home at that moment. He was currently at a dark secluded area which seemed to lack humans as no one was there except him.
He walked closer to the shining stone, it brightened up the entire place like a torchlight. "It wouldn't hurt to touch right?" He said and due to his curiosity, he reached out to the stone and touched it. "Wow" he said admiring it from up close but then something unexpected happened..the stone refused to leave his hand.
"Huh?, Is it stuck or something?!" He exclaimed grabbing it and trying to pull it when something even more unexpected happened. The stone went inside his body.
"Huh, what the..." He was cut short as something began to burn in his body.
"Ahh!!" He screamed from the sudden pain, he fell on the ground and began to twist and turn. In no time, the environment became dead silent as he fell unconscious. An aura of brown hue emanating off his body.
Jules had been lying there for 30 minutes, there was no sign of him waking up anytime soon. The gust of brown aura still surrounding him.
That was when.....
"Oh wow, look what we have here" A feminine voice was heard from a distance. The tall sinister looking woman walked towards the unconscious Jules and knelt before him.
"If it isn't one of the saviours" she chuckled but got no response from him.
"Huh?, He's unconscious?" She thought and reached out to touch him...
"Come to think of it, why does he look so unfamiliar?" She wondered.
"I seriously haven't seen..." She was cut short abruptly as someone came flying from above and slashed her neck with her aura.
Luckily, the sinister woman leaped up and escaped before the other lady could slash off her entire neck. She reached out to her neck and laughed upon the sight of her blood.
"I see you haven't given up" She chuckled and looked towards the lady before her.
"Elise Auclair" she called out.
Elise looked up at her with her usual stoic expression.
"Tch" she scoffed. "Give up Nira or whatever your name is, it's over" She said.
Nira simply laughed upon Elise's words. "Give up?" She asked. "But we're just getting started" She smirked and went into a fighting stance. In a split second, she appeared behind Elise and lunged at her.
"Tch" in the speed of light, Elise leaped up and gave Nira another slash on her arm this time with the aura emanated from her body.
"Ow!" Nira winced in pain. She stared at Elise angrily and lunged at her again but Elise simple dodged her attack swiftly and sent her flying with a single blow.
Elise looked up at a rock from a distance. "Urgh, you can land the finishing blow. I know you've been dying to do that" she rolled her eyes.
"Really?" Anne jumped down from the rock and squealed with delight. She brought out one of her guns and directly pointing it at Nira who was currently laying on the floor with only little strength left.
Nira looked towards them in surprise. "No please don..." She couldn't complete her sentence as Anne sent a bullet flying towards her and hitting her right in the head which of course sent her to the afterlife. "Bingo" Anne said.
The sight of Nira's dead body lying on a pool of blood make Elise scoff. "This one was way too weak" She rolled her eyes.
"I know right?" Anne supported.
"Anyways..." She continued. "There's a person lying over there" she pointed at the direction where Jules laid unconscious.
"Urgh, go check if he's dead and if he's not, kill him" Elise rolled her eyes.
"But we don't know if he's a nice person" Anne frowned.
"There are no nice people Anne" Elise rolled her eyes.
"Tch, says the anti-social freak" Anne said and walked towards the unconscious body. Elise simply rolled her eyes and observed as someone walked towards them.
"Yo, girls!" Chris yelled. "I've been looking everywhere for you" He facepalmed.
"Should've looked better" Elise rolled her eyes. Chris stared at her angrily and was about to talk back at her when Anne cut them off.
"Umm..guys" She called. "You've got to see this" She said in a low whisper but enough for them to hear.
The two stared at her curiously and walked over to her direction.
"Look" Anne pointed towards the unconscious boy.
"Jules?!" Chris exclaimed.
