Monopolia is a continent found in the world of Beatle St. King. It is NOT the original home of its titular character. Rather, Monopolia is a continent of what was once known as the New World. It was once known as the United States of America. Monopolia is divided into several regions:
The First 13: The First 13, or simply called "City 13" is essentially the first 13 colony states of the United States that transformed into this massive interwoven city. It acts as the primary catalytic force in the first two books since they are currently underneath Aurora Morningstar at the beginning of the series. Its Emperor, a zealot of Aurora, is the first book's primary antagonist. It's a massive super-city that is managed by Artificial Intelligence which had concluded that the only way of surviving is by serving Aurora. This artificial intelligence is known as the Zodiac Mind.
The West Coast: The placement of Hometown and various other outer rim villages. The West Coast is known as the "Outer Rim" since it is so rural and weak due to its lack of access to trade. It is a weak and pathetic region.
The Snow Desert: The placement of Hospital City. A desert of horror and snow that constantly has blizzards. An oasis known as Hospital City exists at its heart. It was once the Landlocked States of America.
The Savage Lands: The north. Once known as Canada. No one goes there.
The Hotlands: Once known as Mexico. The only temperate area on the Continent.
The South: Home to various tribes that survive by trading with City 13.
Culture: Majority of the people here have translators implanted in their heads, allowing them to speak any language, except Tagalog, which is a forbidden language for some reason. They have a very diverse culture since most of the Kingdoms are spread-out and almost isolated from each other. The empire is considered a complete failure since it failed to centralize its own government. The "Better Democracy" proven by the A.I. Zodiac Mind only proves that they are under authoritarian rule.
Politics: The Zodiac Mind chooses a puppet for it to tell what to do acting as the country's President based on any known individual in the country "best-suited to lead the nation". There is no longer any form of political party.
The Zodiacs: A cult of fanatical zealots that are separate from the Antis and are simply fans of their work. They actually are under Zodiac Mind and puppeteers them, telling them who to abuse and kill to catch the attention of Beatle and send him right back to the Philippines in exchange for Aurora's "protection" toward Monopolia.
