Chapter #3
I walked down the aisle as the down pour washed away my blood. I felt dizzy and most of all, my senses started to go numb at the same time.
I bet the spider bite was poisonous and altered my body in an unknown manner.
But this wasn't supposed to happen, as one of the elite assassin I was trained to be resistant to all kinds of poison.
I would even add poison in my daily meals and before I knew it, my body had adapted to a point where poison was just another spice.
My body then started to feel all tingly and I was warming up like an oven.
I struggled to reach the apartment where I was crushing during the mission nights but I still managed.
I had to use the window, I couldn't risk people seeing me in my outfit and in a bloodied mess. Talk about a bammer the day was.
I felt so bombed AF and took some painkillers to ease the pain.
I suddenly started to feel myself slip away slowly by slowly as I completely succumbed to slumber.

"Mr Hughes are you in there?" The house room attendant asked after a few failed attempts of knocking on the door.
I completely jumped up from my bed to the ceiling.
"What the hell is going on?" I mumbled.
I was stuck on the ceiling and I felt more energetic than before. My dizziness and sickness had completely disappeared and my mind was clear as day.
"Mr Hughes? Is everything alright?"
The house attendant heard a strange voice from the inside.
" I will be out in a sec."
"My fingers are fucking stuck, damn it." I struggled to pull myself out from the ceiling and ended up peeling the thing off.
"Um coming in." The attendant then started opening the door slowly. I jolted to the to intercept her from entering the room and seeing it in a mess and most of all to prevent her from seeing the guns and sais on top of the table.
"Um how can I help you?" I asked politely.
"Sir sorry to intrude but there is a package that came in for you this morning."
"Ooh thank you very much."
I took the package as I watched the attendant disappear to the right corner of the house corridor.
I closed the door after me and unwrapped the package. The wrapping papers were stuck on my fingers. They were just a pain.
The package contained of a letter with a map with a marking of the rendezvous point with my instructor. I bet they sent it to me after they heard that my comms were not responding.
I started panicking, the damn spider was lifeless but I still had the USB on me.
I couldn't help but wander what would be so important in the drive that the doctor would use his last breath to give it to me. So I broke the code and ended up scrolling inside.
It was some kinda of a formula of a spider venom to enhance the human biology and morph to a better one.
That explains my weird feeling and crawling along the walls.
"Wait don't tell me. It can't be."
I mumbled to myself in disbelief.
Was this a spiderman formula, this is phenomenal.
I was kinda of thrilled and so much excited. The spider that bit me was a radioactive spider and the only one which was a success.
Damn, spiderman was my favorite hero and his powers and abilities were so simple and cool.
I think the master wanted to use it to enhance the shadows into a more deadly army. If that happened for sure he would be unstoppable.
I wasn't that so much loyal into the league of shadows. I wanted power and so I positioned myself to be picked to join them.
I was hungry for power, this world required power to survive. I only wanted to look after my own skin, that's just the human nature and instinct.
I tried shooting webs but they couldn't come out. Maybe I needed to make a gadget similar to Parker's to shot webs.

I spent a whole week training on my powers and with the knowledge I had during my previous life it was no hard task to accomplish.
I had a full grasp of my abilities. My spiderman abilities were similar to the version of Miles Morales which comprised of the addition in producing bioelectricity and invisibility which I called camouflage.
Invisibility would actually compliment my infiltration skills as an assassin. I would become the perfect shadow with no flaws to speak of.
For the past week I didn't care about the league anymore. I had called it quits so I was still on the run from the assassins.
I failed to meet at the rendezvous point and so I was declared a traitor by the league and hunted as like a deer.
The shadows were larking everywhere but the main thing they didn't no was that this time I got an upgrade. In addition to my ninja skills which I picked from the league I was quite difficult to catch and the bounty on my head was raised.
Nobody who betrays the Demon Head and lives to tell the tale.
This time I planned on my making my own army and rising to the top of the food chain in the shadows.
But the army could wait a little, the first thing on my mind was to get the league from my back so this time I decided to settle the matter at the crime center city, Gotham.
(General pov.)
The Gotham life building was in a total disarray. You could hearken the sounds of fist crashing inside the building.
The league of shadows were surrounding on their members as they tried to attack him in unison but their attempts were to no avail.
I was more agile and faster this time. I shot webs from my hands as I apprehended each one of them with my webs.
I was then left facing two fearless opponents. Lady Shiva and Cheshire.
They were really formidable and skilled than the other shadows. It would be bad for me if I didn't strategize on how to deal with them.
"You know I always found you repulsive. Whenever we would go into missions you often liked to stick by the book. You were no fun at all." Cheshire said mockingly as she drew her sais in a stance.
"Well the feeling is mutual."
After my statement she jumped forward to attack me but I dodged by using super fast agility to jump over her and landed a kick at her back pushing her forward ahead.
I didn't wanna prolong my fight with her so much but she was really resilient. The real threat to my eyes was lady Shiva.
Shiva then exploited the moment as she performed a lateral slash which I evaded by leaning my body back a little.
She followed the onslaught with an upward slash and a thrust which I managed to dodge as she followed with a kick but I used my webbing to evade the round kick by pulling me upwards.
It was a two vs one march. Cheshire then threw her sai to cut off the thin thread of webbing.
She thought I might fall but actually I shot two more web balls but she managed to dodge them all.
My spider sense then went all tingly warning me of an attack from my back which almost grazed me.
