Chapter 9 - Vice Dean Alex

"The airship is ready to land! All apprentices are prohibited from indoor activities."

"repeat."

"The airship is ready to land! All apprentices are prohibited from indoor activities."

The strange voice of the meal-delivering puppet echoed throughout the airship. After nearly a month of flying, this group of apprentices finally arrived at the end of their journey - the Black Tower Wizard Academy.

Richard sat quietly on the bed. After ten days of recovery, his magic power had already recovered. Ellie also completed the construction of magic power reflux in these ten days and learned all the zero-ring spells.

Kevin's recruitment made them realize that if they just fought alone, they would still be at a considerable disadvantage in this exam.

So the two of them reached an offensive and defensive alliance when Ellie completed the return of magic power.

"Richard, what should we do next?" Ellie sat on the bed, holding the bag given by the wizard tightly in her hands, her knuckles a little blue.

The impending life-and-death battle frightened the girl, who had never even killed a chicken.

Even though she is now a wizard apprentice.

"What else can I do? Kill someone."

Richard's voice was very relaxed, as if the upcoming fight was just like going to a restaurant for a meal.

Boom!

As soon as Richard finished speaking, the two felt the room shake, and the loud sound of the airship landing came instantly.

"The airship has landed. All apprentices, take your belongings and leave the airship one by one."

Richard and Ellie picked up their things and walked out of the room. They lined up in a queue according to the admissions wizard's arrangement and left the cabin one by one. When leaving the cabin, the skeleton wizard who distributed the apprentices' pockets gave each of them a test tube belt full of test tubes, each of which contained half a tube of emerald green liquid.

"It seems that this is the nutritional potion." Richard thought to himself.

Outside the airship was an open space with dim light. Dozens of magic airships were neatly arranged in the air, their huge bodies blocking out the sky. Under their shadows, tens of thousands of apprentices were neatly arranged in a large square formation.

Richard followed the team into the large square formation. Above the square formation, a white-bearded wizard wearing a black robe and glasses was floating quietly in the air.

"Zeppelin airship No. 050 has arrived, recruiting 198 apprentices."

Taylor, the leader, bowed to the sky and reported. After the floating wizard nodded slightly, Taylor left quietly.

"Quiet."

The voice of the floating wizard was not loud, but it reached the ears of every apprentice.

Richard looked at the wizard, and a sense of fear from the bottom of his heart instantly struck his heart.

Although this wizard did not reveal any aura, he gave him the feeling that he was a completely different creature from the recruiting wizards.

Is this what a real wizard is?

"Welcome to the 432nd entrance examination of the Black Tower Wizard Academy. I am your vice-president, Alex, and also the examiner of this exam.

There are ten examination rooms in total for this exam, each with a thousand people. There will be ten monsters in each room. The monsters will have magic props prepared by the academy, and apprentices with sufficient strength can hunt them by themselves.

Other rules regarding the examination are on page 32 of the Admissions Rules. Apprentices who have not read them can check them out on their own.

Now, let's begin the exam."

After saying that, Vice Dean Alex waved his hand, and rays of light appeared under the apprentice formation. These rays of light were connected to each other, and seemed to form a complex geometric shape.

Richard looked at the light under his feet, and suddenly a trace of panic flashed through his heart.

Will this exam disrupt all the apprentices?

Buzz!

Richard's ears buzzed, and the scenery in front of him turned into an abstract painting with countless blocks of color mixed together, making him dizzy.

"Is this a teleport?"

Richard complained, and a feeling of nausea brought by dizziness rushed into his throat.

After about three or four seconds, the scenery in front of Richard began to recover, and a lush primeval forest came into his sight.

Richard leaned against the tree and spat out two mouthfuls of sour water. The feeling of teleportation was really unpleasant.

"I was misled by those nobles. These idiots don't know the details of the exam. Now I can only hope that Ellie can be ruthless."

Richard muttered something after vomiting acid, and then he saw beams of light rising into the sky.

The dazzling light is clearly visible even in daytime.

The location of these light pillars is where the apprentices need to arrive within fourteen days.

Richard tied the belt full of test tubes around his waist and immediately headed towards the direction of the light column without wasting any time.

The rules of the academy require apprentices to arrive at the designated location within fourteen days, which means that arriving early should be allowed.

The sooner the exam ends, the sooner one will be safe. Richard knows this without having to think about it.

With the end of the teleportation, the primeval forest that had been silent for ten years began to become lively after the exam began. After the teleportation of tens of thousands of apprentices, almost all of them immediately began to act. These apprentices were strong and weak, there were knights and formal wizard apprentices, they all showed their magical powers, and all moved towards the pillar of light rising into the sky.

Raylide struggled through the forest. As a gifted knight's squire, his strong physique and the wizard's potion allowed him to get out of bed and move soon after he was injured. But tragically, as the potion wore off, he began to suffer endless pain in his crotch all day.

The pain seemed to be reminding him that he was no longer a man!

"Asshole, bastard, when I learn magic, I will rape you and kill you, chopping you into pieces."

A somewhat exhausted Reilly leaned against a big tree and cursed loudly.

His eyes were bloodshot and he gnashed his teeth. Hatred was like a hallucinogen, paralyzing his nerves and causing him to hallucinate.

For example, he actually saw the figure that made him unable to be a man emerge from the woods.

"Oh, I met an acquaintance. Now I know where the crystal ball is."

The figure seemed surprised to see him. He raised his arm, and Reilly saw the blue light again.

Castrate his blue light!

This wasn't an illusion!

He really met that bastard!

An intense fear surged from Reilly's heart, and he turned around and tried to run away.

Although he kept cursing Richard, he would be awakened by Richard and his blue light every night after being injured.

Richard almost became his nightmare.

Now, the nightmare has become reality.

Bang!

After leaving the airship, Richard no longer held back. The magic missile flew out from his fingertips, drew a straight line in the air, and then landed accurately on the back of Raylide's head.

Then Richard saw Reilly, the entire back of his head was sunken, and red and white were splattered all around.

"Hah!"

Richard couldn't help retching when looking at the corpse.

Friends who often kill people know that retching after the first kill is a normal reaction due to the intense fear in their hearts and the impact of the bloody scene.

Although Richard was not afraid, for someone who had never killed a chicken before, the strong smell of blood was a bit choking.

After retching for a while, Richard stepped forward and took down Reilly's crystal ball and the nutritional potion on his body.

With these things, he can focus on his journey.

After taking the things, Richard searched Reilly's pockets again. While groping, Richard found a black diamond-shaped crystal. In this crystal, Richard actually sensed an extremely strong magical power.

"Is this... a magic stone?"
