CHAPTER 5
While waiting for Emily and the others, she went to the gym room in her home to stretch her limbs by doing yoga. She didn't know how, but the bruise on her wrist that looked small seemed to have gotten more painful and hot. It made her feel sleepy and her eyes burning as well. Not wanting to add more medication to the same injury, she hurriedly took an extra shower and patiently waited for their arrival as she sat in the living room while making an appointment with her personal doctor. She heard the doorbell, saw through the pinhole who it was, and invited them in.
Five hours after practicing in the gym and working, Maya gave them some advice before sending them off. She went to the study room and focused on work. Half an hour later, she heard the doorbell ring, thinking that maybe one of the girls left their things. She went to the door without checking the pinhole, only to find no one there. Looking around, she saw a parcel on the doorstep, took it into the house, and checked what was in it, curious about its contents. Only to find something that creeped her out to the extreme, she exclaimed "fck!" When she suddenly heard a chuckle and a hoarse voice saying "I found you," she kept muttering "fck" a few times until she calmed down, closed the parcel, and called the police.
When the police came over, they got to know more about the matter, stating that they would investigate and if any leads were found, they would let her know. One of the younger officers, when they left the house, peeked at the thing inside the box only to see something that sent a chill down his spine:
THE DOLL - A pale-coloured doll, in a white dress, big RED eyes that looked like it could see straight to the darkest part of your heart, and a bruise on its face. The youngest officer was so creeped out, he was doubting himself.
