Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Prophecy of Jackeal

The air trembled as the wind howled across the barren plains. Jackeal stood at the edge of the cliff, his cloak billowing behind him like a shadow. His eyes burned with a quiet intensity, as though the weight of the world rested upon his shoulders. The stars above flickered, dimming in anticipation, and the land below seemed to hold its breath. He had seen it all, the coming storm, the fall of the heavens, and the rise of the Beasts. The prophecy had been clear, but no one believed him.

In the distant city, the voices of those who had once followed him now turned to murmurs of doubt. The people had abandoned him, calling him a false prophet, a harbinger of doom. But Jackeal knew the truth. His visions were not of his own making. They were the words of the gods, whispered into his mind in a language older than time itself. And in these whispers, he had heard a single name: Lucifer.

The darkness in the sky deepened, swirling like a stormcloud. Jackeal felt it—an ancient power awakening, growing stronger with each passing moment. The Beasts would soon arrive. Ten monstrous entities, each holding a piece of the world's destruction. And the only thing standing between them and total annihilation was Jackeal himself.

Behind him, a voice echoed through the wind. "Jackeal…" It was the voice of his closest ally, Reazeal, the one who had stood by his side through thick and thin. "What are you waiting for? The world is falling apart."

Jackeal turned to face him, his face etched with sorrow and determination. "I must face what's coming. I am the only one who can."

Reazeal stepped forward, a mixture of concern and admiration in his eyes. "You don't have to do this alone. I will fight with you."

"I know," Jackeal said, a rare hint of warmth in his tone. "But this is my battle, Reazeal. The fate of the world rests on what happens next."

Reazeal nodded, though the weight of their situation was heavy on both of them. The earth trembled beneath their feet as a deep roar echoed from the horizon. The Beasts were approaching.

Jackeal's eyes narrowed, and he raised his hand toward the sky. A golden light erupted from his palm, and the heavens above seemed to crack open. From the depths of the rift, a figure emerged, an embodiment of rage and chaos. Lucifer, the fallen one, had arrived.

"You truly believe you can stop me?" Lucifer's voice was like a wave crashing against the shore, both beautiful and terrifying. His form shimmered with an unholy light, his eyes burning with the fury of a thousand suns.

Jackeal's heart beat steadily, even as the weight of his mission pressed down upon him. "I have no choice."

As the first Beast descended from the sky, the earth cracked open, and Jackeal felt a surge of power rise within him. His body pulsed with energy, the mana of the world flowing into him, granting him strength beyond measure. He had always known that his abilities would awaken when the time came, but now, with the Beasts closing in, they were more powerful than ever before.

With a single motion, Jackeal summoned a blade of pure energy, its edge crackling with raw power. He leapt into the air, his body moving faster than any mortal could comprehend. The Beast roared as it clashed with him, its monstrous form too large to fully comprehend.

But Jackeal was no ordinary man. His strikes were devastating, each blow resonating with the force of the world itself. The Beast recoiled, blood spilling from its wounds. But Jackeal knew this was only the beginning. There were nine more Beasts, and each one would be stronger than the last.

As the battle raged on, Reazeal fought by Jackeal's side, his own power awakening as the battle intensified. Together, they struck down Beast after Beast, their strength growing with each victory. But the real test was yet to come. The final Beast, the tenth of its kind, was unlike any other. It was the embodiment of the world's darkest fears, a creature of unspeakable power.

And within that final Beast lay the key to Jackeal's ultimate destiny. To save the world, Jackeal would have to sacrifice everything. He would have to face Lucifer, the fallen angel, and prove that even in the face of overwhelming darkness, there was still a flicker of light.
