The system muttered in an electronic voice as he felt his vision darken, and suddenly, a blinding light appeared in him.

Some fragments began to pop up in his head, and the memories of the dead zombie were resurfacing.

"Mother, when I grow up, I will become an awakener and fight those monsters. My lifelong goal would be to protect you with all my heart," A child's voice was heard.

The woman who was cooking smiled and responded while continuing her work.

"Yeah right, just do what you want to do. Your mother will always be here to support you"

...

The scene then changed as it showed a woman who was looking at her with a smile as blood gushing out from her lips.

Half of her body was being eaten by a large centipede. She appeared to be speaking in a low voice as she tried to express herself.

"I'm... sorry... I'll canno..t acco.." then snapped as her body fell to the ground lifelessly.

"Mother Noooo!" A teenager's voice cried, filled with despair.

Then, a bunch of people with superpowers arrived and killed that beast as well as the other beast, but it was too late. His mother was already dead.

The awakeners seeing this was saddened for a kid; losing his only family is just sad.

...

The scene then changed, and he was at the Dojo kneeling at an old man. "Master, please take me as a disciple," he said with tears in his eyes.

The old man with white hair, clearly the master of this dojo, just sighs and decides to accept him.

He imparted some of the martial techniques he had in their dojo to train him, and as years passed, he dedicated himself to practicing these techniques nonstop.

Although his talent is not that good, with years of experience, he has become the senior disciple of this Dojo.

Asher felt like his mind was overwhelmed watching this scene, after that it stopped as he was in an unfamiliar environment.

Looking around he was in a mountain, his body was transparent like a ghost.

"Huh, what happened? System, where did you take me, those memories does it belong to that zombie?" he asked the system, as a panel replied to his question

[Just watch the scene host, when it is done you'll be back in no time]

Asher narrowed his eyes, "Is this a dream? A dream inside a nightmare. This doesn't make sense if this is real," he thought as he watched the place.

The sky was bright, and the sun was up. Then he saw a man in a field practicing a fist technique.

The man was standing in the middle of the cemented field. Just up the road is a dojo called the 'Bisaya Dojo'.

Seeing the man's appearance and his build, he looked exactly like the zombie he had killed, "Is this him? His memories are transferred to mine?" he voiced out, but just as a spectator, he could not be seen by anyone.

The man in martial arts clothes was a giga chad with a good physique and tough muscles.

He spreads his feet shoulder-width apart, lowering his center of gravity to make a stable stance.

His fist clenched slightly, resting by his waist, with its elbows tucked close to his body. The man punched straight, and his back foot pivoted, generating a powerful force.

As the punch extended fully, his back pivoted, generating power from his core. As the punch extended fully, he snapped it back as quickly as it was thrown, transitioning into a left punch.

Each punch created a ripple, and the air trembled from the energy radiating in his fist. Then he saw that his punches changed; they became faster as he exhaled sharply.

His body coiled and uncoiled like a spring, delivering blows and explosive force. Asher could not help but be in awe that the zombie was actually this strong in his prime.

"This is actually its true strength. If I had fought him when he was alive, I would have died in just a single punch." Asher exhaled a heavy breath.

Occasionally, the man's punches struck the target even though they were nothing; the intensity caused the dust on the ground to kick up.

After that series of rapid punches, the man then throws a straight punch followed by a swift uppercut, his entire torso twisting to amplify the strike even more.

Delivering a low hook, followed by a raising elbow strike. Each of his movements were deadly and sharp.

Then he saw that the man stopped standing straight, closing his eyes, "Is he tired?" Asher mumbled.

When he said that, the man began to move his fists in circular motions; his fists were glowing faintly.

With a focus breathed his eyes turned sharp as he slammed them into the ground, causing a small shockwave to ripple out

The man then stopped as he sat on the ground, as he watched from the sides. "Hayss, that's tiring," he uttered as he cracked his neck.

Suddenly, he saw that many people were running up the stairs leading to this field up the mountain, and he frowned as he stood up.

A man finally climbed up the stairs. His face paled as the martial artist man went towards him.

"Master Aeron, bad news: There are beasts coming this way. A gate, a gate had opened," the man said as he lowered his body, putting both hands in his thighs to breathe.

Aeron is the name of the master. When Asher heard this, he looked down at the mountain and saw many people with pale faces running.

"This dream is becoming more and more real," he muttered as he saw many people passing Aeron and climbing up as they ran behind him.
