Chapter 19 - Act XIX: Shattered Balance

-A Few Moments Earlier-

-Omniverse-

"What should I do?" said End, not knowing what to do with himself, but after a moment of reflection, he began to think not about what to do, but about why he was created, and the others.

Suddenly, a light that had been faintly visible in his eyes dimmed, and he didn't even feel it.

"Why were we even created? What is the point of it?" he said, thinking and thinking, not finding any purpose for his existence, despite his knowledge of what he was.

"What was the reason for this? Was there even a reason?" he said, and continued speaking, not finding any answers.

"Who am I, really? What is my purpose? Does any of this even exist?" he said, pondering, but without feeling sadness or any other emotions. All he felt was curiosity about why he was created and why he was the incarnation and the law of the end.

"Does it even matter, since I am the law of the end?" he thought, and thought. His thoughts seemed endless, despite the fact that he himself was the end.

"What is the point of all this when everything will eventually end? But will I disappear since I am the end? If so, then why do I exist?" His thoughts expanded, but despite being an incarnation who should feel emotions, he felt none except curiosity.

He was unaware of this because all he felt was curiosity about himself, about what will happen, and whether the end would even touch him. Despite this, he didn't feel emotions like fear, joy, or even disgust toward the beginning that he had felt at first—only curiosity.

"If I don't have the answers, I'll find them," he said, eager for answers to the questions he had asked.

Suddenly, after a moment of thinking about what to do, an idea came to him.

"Maybe I'll see what happens if I end one of the laws. How will it affect the Omniverse and me?" he said, with a hint of curiosity about the consequences of his actions.

But he didn't think about what might happen.

"Let's do this!" he shouted, curious about the consequences and effects of his actions.

Suddenly, he himself began using a law he hadn't used before, a part of himself, or rather the authority he possessed.

The authority of the law of the end, which emanated from him, wasn't gentle or subdued; it was more like a fire that couldn't be extinguished, a fire that could destroy everything. But suddenly, this fire found its purpose.

"Maybe this," he said, and the authority he possessed suddenly found its purpose: to end the law.

The law of balance, the law that gives balance to everything below it in the hierarchy, the law by which everything under the apex laws is balanced.

Suddenly, the authority of the law of the end began speeding toward the law of balance.

The law tried to resist, but with little success.

It didn't even take a moment for the law that fought, that wanted to save itself, to disappear from the Omniverse, and the only one who would know about it would be End.

But the effects of this action would only be known when the law would be needed, yet it would no longer exist.

-On the Way to Infinity-

"Aaaa… It's probably been several days, and the road I'm traveling on still doesn't end," he sighed and said, feeling tired.

"Will I ever get there?" he said, not having much hope but still flying forward.

"Even with the increase in speed I'm traveling at, the road seems endless… and maybe it doesn't have an end," he said, slightly disappointed and frustrated.

"Maybe I'll use a law?" he said to himself, having that idea.

"Eventually, when I use it, theoretically, my speed should increase infinitely," he said and began to control the authority he possessed—the authority of infinity.

"Let's do this!" he said, and began to envelop his body in the authority, and his speed became indescribable in normal terms.

"Ooo! What a ride! With this speed, I can barely see anything, though around me, there's still nothing," he said, excited, now with greater hope of reaching the end.

-A Few Days Later-

"This speed is something else. It feels like the area I've traveled through is a million times larger than before," he said, slightly amazed by what he had done.

"But this still probably isn't enough. I probably need to come up with something else," he said, still thinking of a solution during the flight.

-A Moment Later-

"Wait! Since I am the law of infinity and its incarnation, I have control over infinity. Therefore, theoretically, I could see the end by using my authority to infinitely decrease the distance between the infinite end and this place," he said, coming up with a brilliant idea that he hadn't thought of before.

"Let's get to work!" he said, and began using the authority, which, once put into motion, began to shrink the distance.
