"Do you think I know? I especially don't want that," said Beginning, also feeling a sense of disgust
"As for your question about what we know… well, we don't know much, but we can tell you everything that has happened to us," replied Infinity, glancing at End and pondering how to summarize everything that had occurred.
"Alright," said End, curious to hear what had happened. However, it wasn't just End who reacted—Beginning also showed interest.
"So, let me start from the beginning. I was the first one to appear here. After me came Void, followed by Dimension, Matter, and eventually, you," he explained with focus and precision, still wondering why he had been the first to exist.
"When Void awakened, he discovered another dimension—a dimension connected to him, which he named Void, just like himself."
"Later, when Dimension awakened and we met him, I explained the concept of energy. Back then—and even now—I didn't fully understand it, but I had a basic idea of how it could be used. This energy is omnipresent, but in Void's dimension, it is so scarce that it's almost undetectable," he said, reflecting on everything that had happened so far and considering how to use this knowledge in the future.
"Then Matter appeared, but we didn't interact with him for long. Upon his awakening, material objects began to manifest—just like when you arrived. However, unlike with you, these objects did not disappear," he said, glancing at Matter, then at Beginning and End, wondering why they too could control and create matter.
"After Matter left—or rather, after we lost contact with him, since we never truly got to know him—we began to control the energy. And we succeeded. But in doing so, we inadvertently created something we never anticipated—lower dimensions. I call them dimensions because there is an infinite number of them," he said, still trying to figure out how this had happened, inching closer to an answer.
"Yes, an infinite number. If you saw them, you would be amazed," added Void, visibly excited about their unintentional creation.
"That's essentially all the major events that have happened," concluded Infinity, looking at the newcomers.
"…That's a lot to take in, but I still don't fully understand what's going on since I haven't seen most of these things myself," said End, slightly overwhelmed by the volume of information, but beginning to organize it in his mind.
"You're probably still wondering how all of this came to be."
