Chapter 1 - Reborn again

Ryu, that was his new name, which he had gained after dying. He had long since abandoned his old name… Harry… it sounded strange to his tongue now, now that he had lived for close to 16 years in Konoha. Ryu was the name his new mother gave him, a simple woman, half Sarutobi, half Uchiha, though she only awakened her sharingan when her first son died, Ryu's elder brother. She was no shinobi, but a shop owner in her time on this planet. He had been seen as a prodigy, as he had the mind of a grown man. He studied the books in the library, each he was allowed to see, meaning all in the civilian section. He didn't wait long before graduating from the academy. Ryu was no Kakashi or Itachi… though neither would be born before he died again but we're getting ahead of ourselves here, he graduated at the age of 9, sooner than most but not so soon as the true geniuses. He became a chunin three years later, at the tender age of 12, the age that most started their journey. It was at this time that he had to kill his mother. She had been battling with bouts of insanity for years then, even awakening the mangekyo sharingan when she killed her own daughter, only 3 at the time, in a fit of rage. Seeing his baby sister dead on the kitchen floor, a kitchen knife rammed into her chest, he awakened his own mangekyo sharingan when he killed his mother with his bare hands. It wasn't much of a fight, he was a shinobi, had been for three long years and she? She had been but a woman driven into insanity by a force beyond their control. It was a jutsu, he later learned, one placed on his grandmother.

The shinobi whom she had offended cast a terrible jutsu on her bloodline, all her children and her children's children were to be slowly driven insane. The jutsu had broken on Ryu when Harry took over his body but his mother was not so fortunate. He had seen medi-nin to check if it was truly gone and, for his fortune, it truly was. He hadn't wasted his mother's mangekyo either, transplanting them into his own sockets. It had taken a year for them to heal -because he didn't want to go to the healers with them- but he had managed to awaken the EMS. He hadn't been sure whether it had worked at first but as he continued his journey to becoming a jonin and used it without going blind, he knew it had been a success. Turns out, brothers weren't the only suitable donors, mothers worked too. He of course hid the EMS, only showing it to those who would die before they could spread the word and only training it in the wild, far away from prying eyes.

Two years after his eyes had healed, he was raised to the rank of jonin. It had been 3 months since then and Ryu met with the being who had sent him here, the three headed man, as he had nicknamed them, for that was what they were, a being with three heads, one male on the left, one female on the right and one androgynous in the middle. Their skin shimmered like molten gold, their eyes gleamed like sapphires(male), rubies(female) and emeralds(androgynous). They walked, or rather floated, around completely nude. They had no parts, no breasts, no cock and no cunt, they were smooth like a doll.

"Harry", they spoke, three voices blending into one, like three melodies harmonizing to create a song, mighty and elegant, petite yet stern and graceful yet gruff, "We have send you here to grow stronger and now that you are of sufficient strength, we must whisk you off once more, into the world of planetos. Your duty? You have none. You can do in this world as you please, using your jutsu for good or evil, it matters not but at least try to make it entertaining for the author"

"The author? So this is what, a half-baked fanfiction?"

"The Author is more of a title, less of an actual occupation. The author is called that because he holds the book of worlds, a tome with infinite pages, each chapter holding a different world's story, from creation to destruction. He has asked me to change the history of one world, the world of planetos, one of its iterations anyways and I chose you to do it, Harry" the three faced man smiled.

"Actually it is Ryu- wait… I'm going to planetos… the name Ryu would stick out like a sore thumb… I guess Harry it is then", the name felt strange on his tongue, as he hadn't spoken it for 16 years, he now was as much Ryu as he was Harry, "Can I bring things with me?"

"Only as much as you can carry… we will give you a day to prepare yourself, tomorrow at midnight, we will return and take you to planetos"

"Thank you for the time, one day is all I will need", Harry watched as the god disappeared and he began planning. He would need sealing scrolls, a lot of them. Luckily, he had quite a few already, most were filled with weapons and medical supplies, he kept those. The ones filled with junk, he unsealed, repurposing them, storing non-perishable food. He also bought more scrolls, in which he stored precious gems and metals. It drained all of his funds, buying them in such bulk but he had no use for Ryo in Planetos.

He donned shinobi battle armor and a sword, kunai strapped to his body and waited for midnight to strike. It was no sooner than the clock struck midnight that the three headed man reappeared, "We see you haven't wasted your precious day. Are you ready?"

"Yes", he nodded, "I'm ready"

"Well then, Harry, we bid you farewell"

Light enveloped his vision and he was in his home no longer, instead, he found himself in a field of rolling hills, he looked in the sky, where the sun beat down on him. It was warm, so it was most likely summer, not in the north and most certainly not in dorne, it wasn't hot enough for that. So, he walked, more like ran, at incredible speeds due west, faster than any horse. It didn't take long for him to spot a little village. It had a market, an inn, probably a brothel too and even a jeweler from what he could see. Truly, it wasn't actually a village, more like a town, now that he saw it closer(he was walking slowly towards it). There was a small, stone keep with a banner of a golden wreath on blue with a golden boarder. He didn't recognise the sigil, and so had no idea where he was. He walked over to the town, straight to the jeweler, to exchange some of his jewels for golden dragons. He didn't know wether what he got was a fair price or not but, for some of his gemstones, he got 50 golden dragons and some change, more than enough for now. Harry walked into the inn and sat down, ordering a wine, which he got for a few copper stars.

"From where do you hail, ser?", asked the young wench that worked in the inn, she had to be the owners daughter, for she was only four and ten, five and ten at most.

"Far, far away, from a land beyond the sunset sea"

"Beyond the sunset sea? But I heard no ship that sails there ever returns…", she looked at him with wide eyes, curious and intelligent.

"Aye, the sea past a certain point is very treacherous, my people didn't know much about the eastern kingships, as we call Westeros, Essos and the summer isles, those are the names you use, right? Well, the sea is treacherous and my ship sank. I awoke on the coastline and wandered until I arrived here", Harry took another sip of his wine, it was good but also pricey, he couldn't just gulp it down, he had to savor it. Back in the elemental nations, he wasn't old enough to drink, this was his first drink in 16 years.

"What is it like, where you come from?", the wench asked, sitting next to him, her eyes transfixed on the stranger in the strange armor.

"It is a land full of war", he said, looking into the wench's brown eyes, "children are raised to be warriors, assassins and magic users"

"Magic? But- magic died with the last dragons, didn't it?"

"Maybe it did but not for us, we are born with magic running through our veins, chakra we call it. It is hard to control, it takes years of training to utilize even the most simple of magics or jutsu, as we call it. Children go to the academy when they are five and most only graduate when they are two and ten and even then, only few become what is known as genin, the lowest of the ranks", Harry explained to her, nursing his drink.

"And what rank are you, ser?"

"I'm what is known as a jonin, the elite, only subservient to our kage"

"Kage?"

"It is like one of your kings. The kage lead the hidden villages, where us warriors are trained, they are the strongest of shinobi"

He asked her where he could find someone to teach him about this world he was living in.

The wench, who introduced herself as Marge, told him about the maesters, how one worked for the Algood's in Algood keep, the stone building. Lord Algood apparently allowed commoners to learn under his maester for a fee. He thanked Marge and -after finishing his drink- walked up to the keep.

"State your business!", one of the guards said, a stern look on his face, his armor shone in the sunlight, embroidered on his chest was the same banner he had seen over the keep, gold and blue.

"I wish to learn under the maester, I heard his faculties are open to all?"

"For a fee yes, ser-"

"Harry and yes, I have money to pay the good maester", Harry pulled out a gold dragon, "How many lessons do I get for a golden dragon?"

The guards seemed surprised by him carrying a whole golden dragon, "are you sure you want to spend a whole dragon on his lessons?"

"Depends, what does a dragon bring me?"

"A golden dragon gives you about a year of lessons, a bit more. I don't know the exact rate which our lord charges, I have never been to the maester for learning, only to be patched up after a melee", He shrugged, "Let me show you to the good maester"

They walked into the keep and through corridors, past oil paintings of mountains and sunsets, into the library, where the maester sat, a young man, perhaps 30, wearing a chain around his neck and shrouded in long robes, "A, a student I presume?"

"Yes, how many lessons can this buy me? I know how to read and write, as well as my numbers, I need information about history, customs, the houses of westeros, politics and so on", he showed him a golden dragon.

"A well learned man already, I see and quite deep pockets too… A golden dragon will buy you a year and a half worth of lessons. They start at daybreak and end at high noon, after that, I will need my time to attend to my lord", the maester -Ellio, Marge had called him- told him.

"Great, I'm in your hands", he flipped the coin through the air, into his hands, "I will arrive tomorrow morning, after I have broken my fast"

"I look forward to teaching you ser-"

"Harry"

"Yes, ser Harry, I look forward to teaching you"
