Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Birth Of The Urban Wild

The city of Zareth pulsed with life, a sprawling jungle of neon skyscrapers, metallic vines, and glowing rivers of hover traffic. Beneath its dazzling surface lay a labyrinth of shadowy alleys, forgotten ruins, and mechanical beasts scavenging for scraps. It was here, deep within the steel wilderness, that a new kind of hero was born.

The child's cries echoed through the undercity's overgrown remnants, where nature had reclaimed forgotten structures. His mother, a scavenger named Ayla, had sought refuge in the ruins when labor struck. Alone but resolute, she gave birth to a son under the watchful gaze of bioluminescent plants and the hum of ancient machinery.

She named him Kael, a name whispered to her in a dream by the winds of this strange world—a place where nature and technology waged an eternal war. Kael's first breath carried the scent of rust and rain, and his first sight was a sky crisscrossed with glowing highways.

By the time he was ten, Kael had learned to navigate Zareth's layers. The undercity was his playground, a jungle of mechanical vines and ancient ruins. He discovered early that he was different. Where others struggled against the city's unpredictable energy surges, Kael thrived. His hands could coax life from dead machines, and his steps left faint sparks on the ground. It was as if the city itself recognized him, a child born of both its chaos and harmony.

One fateful day, while exploring an abandoned monorail station, Kael stumbled upon a strange artifactn an orb humming with untamed energy. When he touched it, his world exploded in light. Visions of a war-torn universe flooded his mind: planets stripped bare, cities swallowed by metallic jungles, and a shadowy figure at the center of it all.

When Kael woke, the orb was gone, but its power had awakened something within him. His veins now pulsed with raw energy, and his skin glimmered faintly in the dark. He felt the city's heartbeat in his own, its power coursing through him.

From that day, Kael was no longer just a child of the jungle city. He was its guardian, its hero. The boy born of friction—between nature and machine, chaos and order—had taken his first step toward becoming the legend Zareth would one day know as the Sparkblade.

But Kael's journey was only beginning. In the heart of the city, a new storm was brewing, and he was its spark.
