New Day New Week!

Queens, New York City
"Ring ring ring ring ring!"
The school bell for Midtown High rang. A student grabbed his backpack and rushed toward the door without hesitation.
Carl saw his best friend trying to sneak away and shouted, "Hey, Kahn! You said yesterday you'd play games with me today!"
"Uh, Carl, what I said yesterday was the next time, meaning the day after tomorrow," Kahn explained.
After saying that, Kahn poked his head back into the classroom as he was leaving and added, "Next time for sure, Carl."
"Cunning Kahn. Did he really mean tomorrow by next time?"
Carl muttered to himself. Kahn had said the same thing last time, but he still hadn't finished that level with him. The game needed two players to finish.
Another classmate passed by and chuckled, "If you remind Kahn every single day, he'll probably finish the game next year."
"I swear, Kahn must have had a shock. He loves guns more than he loves me, his best friend," Carl complained as he packed his things.
He was about to try his one-hundred-thirty-fifth attempt at clearing the game alone. He promised himself that if he still didn't finish by the two-hundredth attempt, he'd drag Kahn along to help him.
Kahn had gone through a lot of changes over the last three years.
It was the year 2000. Kahn had been in this Marvel world for three years now. After going through many emotions—excitement, fear, confusion—he had managed to stay calm and accept his new life.
How did he know this was the Marvel world? Kahn had used the inheritance left by his parents to make a lot of money. To this day, he still had shares in Stark Industries.
Inheritance in America could be complicated, but Kahn's parents had planned for their decline and hired a lawyer before their deaths. This allowed Kahn to smoothly inherit their wealth.
Kahn inherited 34% of a private hospital owned by the Pent family, nearly one million dollars in savings, three houses, and two cars.
Unfortunately, inheritance taxes and lawyer fees took away most of that wealth. The Pent family originally had over five million dollars in savings.
However, Kahn wasn't worried. Using his knowledge of the year 2000's financial trends, he invested $600,000 into the stock market. He experienced some ups and downs at first but eventually made a lot of money.
Using his knowledge of gold, oil, and technology stocks, Kahn earned enough to live a wealthy life in America: luxury homes, butlers, private cars, and delicious food every day. Also His 34% share in the private hospital would support him until his sixties.
Despite this, Kahn knew he couldn't be careless. The Marvel world was chaotic, and America was dangerous. Survival meant preparation and power.
His special ability, or "cheat," was another reason he stayed busy. His memories and sharp focus allowed him to learn quickly, even complex and difficult things.
Currently, Kahn was the number one student in his twelfth-grade class at Midtown High School. His good grades and wealth would make getting into any university easy.
However, Kahn still took time to train at a shooting range in the city's outskirts. For someone like him, learning to use firearms was an excellent way to prepare for self-defense.
After leaving Midtown High, Kahn rode his motorcycle to the shooting range. He had a driver's license but wasn't confident driving alone yet, as getting stopped by the police could lead to fines or even danger.
When he arrived at the shooting range, someone was already waiting at the entrance.
"Hey, Kahn, you're still on time as always," said Jimmy, the shooting instructor, with a smile. Jimmy had made a lot of money teaching Kahn, so he was always friendly to him.
"What are we working on today? Live targets or the regular ones?" Kahn asked.
Jimmy laughed, "No problem, Kahn. Honestly, you could enter competitions with your skills. Even if you don't win, you'd likely place in the top ten."
Jimmy wasn't joking. Kahn was already better than 90% of the people at the shooting range. His practice with live targets had made him even better.
Kahn smiled at the compliment but knew his skills were good for practice, not real combat.
Kahn had access to powerful equipment like body armor, grenades, and rocket launchers. Many of these items were restricted, but with enough money, he could buy whatever he wanted.
After finishing his training, Kahn rested and drank some water. Jimmy came over and said, "Kahn, you're doing great today. You're better than you were yesterday."
"Eat more vegetables and sleep well, Jimmy. You could stay in good shape too," Kahn said with a grin.
After a short rest, Kahn leaned over to Jimmy and asked quietly, "Jimmy, did you find out the information I asked about?"
Jimmy looked around nervously before whispering, "Kahn, those weapons are restricted. You live in the city, right? If you need protection, I can recommend some bodyguards."
"Don't worry, Jimmy. I have a house in the suburbs, and I just want to collect these guns because I like them. I'm not planning on going to war or anything. If I had that kind of time, I'd rather make more money."
Kahn's last words made Jimmy pause. Sighing, Jimmy took a note from his pocket and handed it to Kahn.
"Go to this place and just say you're Jimmy Black's friend," Jimmy whispered.
